Absolutely fantastic stay! We (2xAdults & 2xChildren) stayed 4 nights in a tent on site 5. Lovely property with various birds and wildlife. Kids enjoyed watching the sheep graze in the field opposite. Plenty of firewood to collect in the areas surrounding campsites. When there are no clouds the star gazing is amazing!
Sites were a little closer than we thought they would be, but we didn't hear anyone else. I feel for the bloke on site 4 though having to listen to our two kids despite our best efforts.
We had wind and rain everyday, but the trees keep you pretty sheltered from the worst of the wind.
Peaceful, great views and private.
Stayed in site 1.

Absolutely amazing site. Very nice views of the distant hills. Peaceful and quiet. Took a daytrip into Bridgetown (20mins away). Kids had plenty to explore. Will definitely be going back in the future.

Loved our stay. We will be back. The property was so peaceful and beautiful, its such a lovely spot. We feel truly lucky to have been able to stay. Site 1 is level and was easy to navigate with our 19ft caravan, the site is very private and in my opinion we stayed in the best site for a caravan. Thanks so much for having us Cassie and Daniel.

Site 5
Site 5 was perfect for our 2 caravans . Flat enough and only had to level the van slightly. The surrounds were peaceful and other campers were adequately separated from each other .
Cassie and Daniel are exceptional hosts with a beautiful property if you love to explore or just want to sit at your camp site.
Sheep roaming around, the sound of birds and being surrounded by beautiful green pastures and wooded areas.
Note: foxes can sometimes be heard calling at night time. It is the eeriest sound but we never actually saw one near camp.
All in all, a wonderful place for solo, couples, families or groups
Beautiful property and lovely hosts, however site 3 did not suit a larger van as took lots of work and manovering to get anywhere level. We will certainly be back as the other sites would accommodate larger vans.
I do need to call out, I did book site 3.

Great site. Plenty of space. Lovely views. Would go back there again.
Lovely camping spot. Site 4 was what I think is the best spot. Its big enough to fit 2 or 3 set ups (some levelling needed) with shade for warm days but also sun for the solar. The other private site is site 1 but looks to have less shade so maybe better in winter. Site 5 is the least private and small. Great location and we loved walking around the paddocks finding the sheep!
Site 6 was reasonably flat with very nice view across the grassy paddock. There were 6 of us in three vans. Plenty of space and quite away from the other sites. Had some sheep wander through the final morning.
Will be nice to come back in winter when we can have a fire going.
A beautiful secluded peaceful spot with gorgeous views. Totally loved❤️ Cassie was extremely helpful and prompt with reply’s with bookings.
Lots of space between campers and clear and easy directions to camp. Great communication.

Beautiful spot - peaceful, simple effective directions and signage.
We actually camped at site 2 as we couldn’t initially find site 6. However this was a beautiful quiet spot with the shelter of large trees. Had a great campfire in the morning to cook breakfast on. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved camping at Blackwood River Estate. Had the whole property to ourselves, so quiet and peaceful for four days. Site 3 sloping but able to level our hybrid van with a small amount of effort. Open space good for solar power but trees around for shade/shelter if needed
I can easily say Cassie and Daniel’s place was generally the one of, if not the best place I’ve been camping! The communication, location, views! Everything was amazing and I will certainly be back.
The heard of sheep within the property just made it even more spectacular and was hilarious to watch my dog try and figure out what the heck the loud fluffy things were 😂

Site 6 was perfect, rolling green hills and secluded from the other sites. Was a great place to take long walks through the nature reserve and around the farm. Spent 4 days here and would def come back again.

Took my wife and 2 young kids. Was a great place in the green grass overlooking the farms and rocky outcrops. Is only a stones throw away from Boyup & Bridgetown. Will be be back for sure. They offer to burn the dead wood on the farm but it’s hard as hell so bring a good axe and some jarrah or pine to get the fire going!!

We loved our long weekend down on Cassie and Daniel’s property.
They were fantastic hosts with easy to follow directions to get there and check in.
Plenty of room between sites and large area for camping, we will definitely be back!

We loved this stay and would highly recommend it, great views and nice and quiet. We camped here with a 20ft van and very east get into. We will be back for this one for sure.
Absolutely loved everything about our short stay here. Quiet, peaceful and serene. Directions and communication were very prompt - especially with our last minute booking. Wish we had more nights to stay, next time!!
