Located in the picturesque Blackwood River Valley of South Western Australia, the farm boasts 200 acres of open pasture and rich soil making it ideal to raise sheep naturally. Our farm is in the shire of Boyup Brook located in the picturesque Blackwood River Valley in Southern Western Australia. "Booyup" refers the Aboriginal term for "place of big stones" or "place of big smoke". Book your unique stay with us! Suitable for the adventurous spirit who is looking for unrestricted access to walk, run or cycle by day and star gazing by night. Why not book a camping weekend on the farm or even a week to explore the Blackwood River Valley? Unrestricted access to explore the 200 acre farm. The Nollajup Nature Reserve borders the farm on two sides with the Blackwood River accessible for fishing or kayaking from Boyup Brook or Bridgetown.

We actually camped at site 2 as we couldn’t initially find site 6. However this was a beautiful quiet spot with the shelter of large trees. Had a great campfire in the morning to cook breakfast on. We enjoyed our stay.

Loved camping at Blackwood River Estate. Had the whole property to ourselves, so quiet and peaceful for four days. Site 3 sloping but able to level our hybrid van with a small amount of effort. Open space good for solar power but trees around for shade/shelter if needed

I can easily say Cassie and Daniel’s place was generally the one of, if not the best place I’ve been camping! The communication, location, views! Everything was amazing and I will certainly be back. The heard of sheep within the property just made it even more spectacular and was hilarious to watch my dog try and figure out what the heck the loud fluffy things were 😂

Site 6 was perfect, rolling green hills and secluded from the other sites. Was a great place to take long walks through the nature reserve and around the farm. Spent 4 days here and would def come back again.

Took my wife and 2 young kids. Was a great place in the green grass overlooking the farms and rocky outcrops. Is only a stones throw away from Boyup & Bridgetown. Will be be back for sure. They offer to burn the dead wood on the farm but it’s hard as hell so bring a good axe and some jarrah or pine to get the fire going!!

We loved our long weekend down on Cassie and Daniel’s property. They were fantastic hosts with easy to follow directions to get there and check in. Plenty of room between sites and large area for camping, we will definitely be back!

Wow what an amazing place to stay ! If you like space and privacy and tranquility with amazing views this is your gig ! We stayed for 3 nights at site 4 in our roof top tent and absolutely loved it. Our second long weekend at this Hipcamp. It’s no surprise we were back! Nothing but positive things to say, fantastic site, great location, great prices. With sites well spaced out we really felt like we had the place to ourselves, perfect off grid camping! Great to see some green starting to show through the paddocks after our last stay in summer, we definitely enjoyed the cool weather! Highly reccomend to anyone in the area or passing through.

Absolutely loved our 5 nights at Blackwood River Estate over Easter, so much so we added on an extra night. Despite all six sites being booked we felt as though we had the camp to ourselves as the sites are large and so well spaced apart. Having the ability for a firepit campfire was a fabulous bonus. Loved the sheep wandering around too - a little envious of those sheep in fact. What a place to call home! Close to Boyup Brook and also Bridgetown meant exploring and supporting local was easy!

We stayed 5 nights over Easter and didn’t want to leave so added on one more night. Peaceful, picturesque and perfectly relaxing, and although it seemed all 6 sites were occupied, besides the sheep wandering through at dusk, we felt like we had the space to ourselves. The night skies were filled with stars and sitting around the campfire each night meant we could enjoy them along with the quiet of Blackwood River Estate. We didn’t see the hosts nor did we need to, but their communication was excellent. We loved our stay and will be back.

We loved our stay here. This property was simply gorgeous, and the hosts were super friendly. We were able to roam the grounds and the kids had a ball rounding up the sheep, even our little frenchie felt like a working dog 😂. Site 3 was a little tricky to level the van on but that’s just the fun of camping sometimes. We will absolutely be back here to explore again. Thank you Daniel and Cassie for welcoming us to your slice of paradise, we had a great stay ☺️ #happycampers

A wonderful spot. Lovely views, peaceful and relaxing. Plenty of room for 3 caravans and cars. Sites are very spaced out. Although other sites were occupied we barely knew anyone else was there.

This is up there with one of my favourite campsites I've stayed at. The land is very special and the boulders carry a beautiful energy to them. We had the place pretty much to ourselves the whole time. My dog loved sniffing around everywhere.

Nice n quiet and sites are well spread out. Ours was taken by someone else however the owners bent over backwards to accommodate us - in another great site. Went kayaking on the Blackwood not too far away. Beautiful clear skies and able to see 6 of the aligned planets at the time. Thank you.
