Really enjoyed our stay at the Callcup farm. Nigel was extremely helpful in providing instructions on how to get to the farm as well as staying up late to accommodate our late arrival. Beautiful scenery by the river and campsite having lush green grass. Would come back again next time.

What a beautiful property right on the Warren River. Nigel was an outstanding host - very responsive, funny and helpful. The cows were calving which was lovely and the drive in is stunning. Book this place you won't be disappointed!!

Our stay at Callcup Farm was a soul-filling escape defined by three pillars: a tranquil retreat, the raw beauty of old-growth Karri forest, and world-class 4WD adventuring.
The Property & Hosting
The drive in is stunning, with Karri and pine creating a complete canopy over you. We spent a day on the Karri Forest Explorer trail to soak in the scale of the trees. Nigel and Cathy are fantastic hosts—the fresh avocados from their tree were a highlight, and Nigel’s hand-drawn map was essential for navigating.
The Campsite
Waking up to kangaroos and emus at the top of the field was incredible. The wildlife is abundant; we saw wild boars, black cockatoos, and kookaburras. Our spot featured a log bridge over the Warren River and a ground cover of native aromatic herbs (like mint or thyme) that smelled amazing with every step. It’s a true sensory experience.
The Location
Perfectly positioned on Callcup Road for 4WD enthusiasts. We used the farm as a base to descend the legendary Callcup Hill to Warren Beach, then looped back through the Yeagarup Dunes. It’s an epic way to see the coast before retreating to the quiet of the farm.
Verdict
Whether you’re here for the technical tracks or the silence of the river, Callcup Farm is a gem. We left feeling completely recharged. Highly recommended for self-contained campers.

Great quiet campsite on a working farm - cows and truffles. Nigel was very welcoming and we got some history of the farm and allowed to explore. Dirt roads in through the forest. You will be supplied with a mudmap to get to the property. Our van is quite high and 22ft and we got in with some careful manoeuvring. Would stay again.

The area set aside for camping is just fantastic it has the river at all sites with plenty of kangaroos and bird life. Would highly recommend to everyone who wants to be away from everyone in the South West of Australia.

Nigels farm is the perfect fit for what we wanted. Quiet and secluded. Creek is still flowing in the middle of Summer and the down south weather pattern alway needs to be considered ( 10mm of rain in January over 2 days) Offroad trailers will not have a problem but a low van may be tricky over some of the undulating dirt track and paddock. Mobile reception is poor to non existent ( even Telstra) Nigel was super helpful on reception guiding into the site then its come and go as you please, I would suggest using the Mud map Nigel sends as Google will try and take you down logging tracks. Thanks for sharing your awesome property Nigel.

A beautiful campsite next to the Warren River with a view to the magnificent Karri Forrests. As a working farm we had cattle alongside kangaroos and emus. The site was quiet with a lot of space.
Nigel and Cathy are very attentive hosts who still give you the space and freedom to enjoy the location

This was our first time camping at their farm stay.
Nigel and Cathy were wonderful hosts.
The camp site was close to the river and peaceful.
There was plenty of native wildlife..
Kangaroos and Emus in the morning and evening, also lots of native birds could be seen and heard during the day.
We will definitely be booking another camping trip.

We had a wonderful stay at Callcup Farm. The site is beautifully secluded, peaceful, and quiet, making it the perfect place to switch off and enjoy being surrounded by nature. Nigel was very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near Pemberton and would happily stay again.

We all really enjoyed our stay. The campground was spacious, with plenty of room for all nine of us with multiple vehicles to spread out comfortably. The host was awesome and very welcoming with easy to follow directions. The farm and surrounding area is well worth a visit. We would definitely like to return for another stay.

Amazing camping spot right on the Banks’s of the Warren River.
Nigel provided a mudmap with directions which we needed and Welcomed us at the cattle yards near the entrance.
A bonus for us was lucked out timing wise with Karri spider and Sun orchids nearby.

Nigel’s land is an amazing place to relax and enjoy with your family and friends perfect for anyone looking for peace, privacy, and a real connection with nature. 🌿
The host, Nigel, is incredibly kind and helpful. He went out of his way to assist us, even waited a long time for us at the junction and offered help several times throughout our stay.
A few helpful tips:
If you’re visiting in summer, be prepared for mosquitoes and flies.
Vodafone and Optus don’t have network coverage here only Telstra works.
Make sure to read the map provided by the host carefully and don’t rely on Google Maps after Pemberton junction.Use Apple Maps instead it will guide you correctly to the junction and Calcup Road.
If you’re unsure about directions, just contact Nigel he’ll happily meet you at the junction and guide you in.
Overall, it’s a beautiful and peaceful spot for a real nature escape.

Not far from the cute town of Pemberton.
Our hosts Nigel was awesome.
Road in is a little freaky, especially with a 21ft van and American truck, but if you follow the mud map your provided you'll have no drama.
Would gladly stay again.
