4WD access only. Nestled in the stunning Leeuwin–Naturaliste Ridge, this escape features a winter creek line, an abundance of birdlife, and grass trees within the 70-acre conservation reserve. Access to the conservation area is currently restricted to prevent the transfer of fungal disease into the waterway. Access is by foot only and limited to using existing roo tracks. We are fortunate to be on the doorstep of a number of amazing wineries in the area. Nearby biodynamic and organic wineries include Blind Corner, Cullen Wines (Caves Road), Stormflower Vineyards (Caves Road), Walsh & Sons, and Woodlands Wines (Caves Road). We encourage a back-to-nature approach at Wine & Waves Bush Escape. Campers will need to bring their own water, transportable toilet facilities, and remove all waste when departing. Please be mindful that this area is under a conservation protection agreement and ensure all waste is taken with you when you leave. Waste disposal facilities (open 7 days a week, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm) are located at Cowaramup Bay Road, Cowaramup; Poole Road, Kudarup; Bessel Road, Rosa Brook; and Beck Road, Alexandra Bridge. Alternatively, facilities are open Monday to Sunday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm at Rendezvous Road, Vasse. Please always check the local shire website for current opening hours, as waste disposal may incur a fee charged by the service provider.
