Perfect secluded little weekend getaway. Nothing fancy but very comfortable. The van was set up with everything we needed to cook our own meals and was perfectly situated where we could go and explore the Margaret River region and not have to drive too far. Hubby and I would love to visit again in the winter so we can have a fire

Elizabeth and Shelley were very gracious hosts. Even in winter, the van (with enough blankets!) is comfortable and cosy, and situated among picturesque bushland and next to a beautiful private dam. Very conveniently located near some great wineries! I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday stay, thanks ladies!

We absolutely loved this stay! The van was so cosy- had a little heater which was amazing. The area was so private and peaceful, I honestly couldn’t fault anything, they really thought about all the little details. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

Such a lovely setup with everything you need. Very cosy, warming and homely. If your looking for an escape with a loved one, this is the place for you. Nothing but the native bush surrounding you and a beautiful dam to look out over. Have a fire and snuggle up as the sun disappears and the thousands of stars come out. Walking distance to Cheeky monkey, Cullen winery and Grayling Estate. Walk around the property to find cows or just a short drive (5 mins) and you will find a great surf beach (4WD only) or a walk to the Wilyabrup Cliffs. All the comfort to either explore the region or just stay around the block, you will not be disappointed.

Our first camp site we visited from Perth was the Shantivan, we arrived at the location given and the instructions were easy to follow to get to the site. Upon arrival we were greeted and shown how to work everything, and there was a campfire already built for us to light and chill out by the pool/pond. The bed was really comfortable, and we were able to charge all our electronics. All the cooking utensils were available to us to use with the electric stove, toaster was working fine. We had a great wine tour booked where we got picked up on the corner outside the turning to Wilyabrup Road, and when we got dropped off with a case of wine we bought, the walk back to the Shantivan was not that far (might have been the drink that helped with that! Haha) Overall a pleasant stay, the toilet and shower hut was really well built considering the location. Hot water was running fine, we even had a few frog visitors that are surprisingly good company! Really would not hesitate to come back if we had the chance to return to Australia.

Amazing little caravan in such a great location. Loved how private it was which made it perfect for a relaxing few days. Fantastic host as well, would highly recommend and would like to come back at some point.

We had a great stay and would highly recommend it. The caravan had everything we needed and it was very peaceful, yet still so close to so many wineries and beaches. Also had communication with host. Great for a break from the city and be in contact with nature.

Such a perfect place to really get away from reality - totally removed from the world in its own private bushland. Absolutely everything you could want including activities, books, snacks - so thoughtful! The bed is also almost too comfy - it was so hard to leave!

Thank you for a peaceful and re-energising stay at Shantivan. As a single woman I felt safe and cosy. I enjoyed the welcoming flowers, very comfortable bed, and fun and easy amenities. Shantivan has a lovely bush outlook with a bonus of refreshing swims in the dam.

What a spot!
Beautiful surroundings, great facilities, and only 15min drive to Margaret River!!
This little piece if paradise is so close to everything yet so secluded!
Hosts were great and very welcoming. We had plenty water on site, hot and cold.
Will definitely be back 😎
