On the edge of the Jarrah forest, this property is only a few minutes drive from Donnybrook or Boyanup and right on the Munda Biddi Trail. Stop in for a night your way further south, use it as your base of operations for a few days, or just chill and watch the kangaroos graze in the paddock. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us for more information.Large clearing in the forest where the property owners got married, plenty of room for a couple of caravans and tow vehicles. This site has a fire pit in the middle (some firewood supplied and subject to seasonal restrictions). Park up and enjoy the forest, then watch the kangaroos move in at dusk to graze in the paddock. This is the only caravan site on the property so if seclusion is what you are after, this is the spot. Boyanup and Donnybrook are a 5 minute drive away. Boyanup has a general store, Donnybrook has an IGA shopping centre that is open 7 days a week. Both towns have pub meal options, cafe's, public toilets, 24 hour fuel and there is the legendary Apple Park playground in Donnybrook for the kids. We want to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, so if you have any questions, feel free to reach out!

You'll have this Hipcamp all to yourself.

Campfires allowed
Firewood provided, firepit, private. Fires allowed in designated area only during allowed period, please check with local authorities first. Some firewood will be provided, please do not take firewood from the forest as we would like to keep this sustainable.
Pets allowed
On leash. Pets allowed on a case by case basis & must be supervised at all times, let us know what kind of furry friend you have and we'll see if we can accommodate you. Please remember that there is plenty of wildlife around including reptiles, be sure to keep your pet on a leash at all times and never leave them unattended. This is for their safety and the safety of local wildlife.
No toilet; campers must bring camp toilets
No toilet facilities on site, you must be fully self contained (leave nothing behind). There are public toilets in Donnybrook and Boyanup a short drive away if required.

Pros: Host was great, site was clean, no other campers nearby as this is the only campsite. Firewood and pets were allowed. Cons: Ocassional noise from road in front of campsite

I loved this camp-site. It was private, had a great fireplace and plenty of wood to burn. Diego gave very precise directions to get there, he was friendly and shared his knowledge of the area. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful camp site. Thanks to you Diego, we enjoyed sitting around the fire making some s’more, and stargazing until bedtime. It was great to have a private area avoiding school holidays crowd! We’d like to come back one day.

We had a lovely stay at Forrests edge and liked that we had it to ourselves, our host gave us lots of tips on eateries and things to do in the area, our dog enjoyed himself too 😀. The site was spotless and had easy access.

Lovely shady spot with bush on 3 sides and a field on one side. Easy to access and flat with bench seating around a fire place and some solar lights. Good communication from owner. Saw roo's every morning and night.

Beautiful solar lit camp. We were immediately welcomed to the property. Straight away we felt safe in our exclusive little site as we were new to the area. Diego was kind enough to meet us a little later in the evening and stuck around for a chat. Great property with a great host!

What a lovely location & a real treat to have a visit from the kangaroos. So tranquil & it was nice to have it to ourselves. Diego came by & said hello. He was a very welcoming & helpful host. Would recommend if you’re in need of some rest & relaxation.

Nice quiet weekend getaway. Close to Donnybrook and convenient to Bunbury or Busselton. Easy instructions on how to arrive. Host left us in peace ( which we love ) to enjoy our personal space, yet on hand if we were to have issues or questions. Area to camp was very clean and was nice and level for our caravan. Had a paddock full of kangaroos to enjoy in the evenings as an added bonus. We were there out of fire season , however for anyone staying when you can have a camp fire the host has a lovely set up for it.

Beautiful spot in amongst the trees not far from Perth! Diego was friendly and welcoming with great suggestions of places near by to visit. Beach was close too for some odd road adventure and pristine water. Our fur babies had a blast too!

Fabulous private hipcamp. Such a treat to have the place to yourself. A clearing amongst the gumtrees with view to paddock where we were enjoyed watching a flock of endangered white tailed black cockatoos. Also some huge roos came in at dusk to graze too. Nice to be able go have our dog with us and on lead to avoid chasing wildlife.. Across the road there are bush trails to walk to through the forest. Diego was a great host offering some great advice for our stay. No fires allowed in the fire pit currently which is understandable as the weather warms up. A peaceful place to base yourself to explore this beautiful part of WA.

Such a great private, peaceful place to stay, was just what we needed. Did not get to use the fire-pit, but was nice to have the option if we wanted. Spotted some wildlife. Wellington dam, gnomesville and a bunch of other attractions only 30-40 mins away. Donnybrook only 5 minutes for groceries or whatever you need.

We loved that it is secluded and private. It's got beautiful surroundings with nice walks and parks nearby. Diego, the host was very accommodating. Being able to light the fire at night was the topper. Would definitely stay here again if we were passing through.

We all enjoyed staying at this campsite, decent size and plenty of space for 2 caravans or multiple tents. Handy having the firepit for the colder nights. Was easy access in and out. Would recommend staying here.

It was lovely to have the area to ourselves, and the fire pit with firewood was most welcome. The site was clean and tidy. The layer of leaf litter did very well at creating a ‘mat’ over the wet clay soil to keep feet and camping gear away from any mud.
