We offer a quiet retreat 5kms up Sandhills Road with a winter brook and peaceful meadows on a country farm set in the beautiful Brookhampton Valley 9kms from Donnybrook and close to many local attractions and wineries with the towns of Bunbury ,Donnybrook,Balingup,Bridgetown and Collie within a pleasant afternoons drive plus the Bibbulum trails are easily accessed. It’s peaceful with plenty of space for winding down. You can see the redtail cockatoos that visit us in December plus a nature walk to wander along (ask for details ) The Hipcamp is located away from the main house so is private. There is an artists studio on the property with the main woodfired salt glazing pottery kiln being fired once or twice a year. We welcome visitors to the studio -lots happening at Easter 2026(see photos) We often have our own eggs, honey, fruit and farm produce for sale. There is grey water available for topping your tanks up There are brochures in the studio for more information on the local attractions. We do have some rules to follow : NO DOGS OR OTHER PETS permitted NO CHILDREN FENCES are live so no ropes to be attached to them There is a dump site for portable toilets at 20 Reserve Street Donnybrook. Greywater can be released onto the paddock. We have an eco toilet available so please do not put any foreign matter down it PLEASE do not feed the animals or enter other areas on the farm without permission All camping must be undertaken in the designated camping area There is a 10pm curfew - no arrivals to the Camp will be allowed after dark so if you cannot arrive before dark please book for the next day. Entry to the property is via a farm gate which must be opened and shut behind you For Entry : Drive all the way to the end of the gravel drive go past the main house gate (a large wooden gate) keep going down the track to the farm gate -open and shut it behind you always -line up straight to the bridge and drive straight across it and into the hipcamp We have camping available during the music festival at Newlands in the New Year Brookhampton Blues in February -Easter for the Donnybrook Apple Festival - the TOMR bike race at the end of October and the Medieval Festival in Balingup as well as available throughout the year depending on the weatherPLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING-THANKYOU -ADULTS ONLY will be accepted -refusal may offend so please read the rules before booking We offer a quiet retreat on a Country farm setting that is close to many local attractions and wineries with the towns of Donnybrook,Balingup,Bridgetown Bunbury and Collie all within a pleasant afternoon’s drive plus the Bibbulmum trails are easily accessed. The hipcamp is located well away from the main house so is private There is a working studio and shop with kilns on the property -the main wood kiln being fired in winter every year plus there is available seasonal fruit, registered free range eggs, bush honey seasonal vegetables and produce from the studio PLEASE DO NOT access other areas of the farm without our permission or supervision-DO NOT access PRIVATE PROPERTY areas or FEED or try and pet any of the farm animals including the horses-there are electric fences There is minimal shade, so it is recommended that you have portable shade with you We now offer a eco toilet for guests but as yet no shower plus there is a dump site for portable toilets at 20 Reserve Street Donnybrook. You can let your grey water onto the paddock if needed. Camping must be in the designated Hipcamp area only no Camping in other areas on the farm will be approved A 10pm curfew is in place -please respect other Campers If bringing a tent make sure you have all you need -food, water, cooking equipment, solar shower -etc as WE DO NOT OFFER ANY OTHER FACILITIES OTHER THAN A ECO TOILET FOR ENTRY : Drive down the track PAST the large wooden gate -keep going to the bottom farm gate -open and close manually make sure you line your vehicle up to go straight across the bridge keep going straight ahead through the gate on the other side On EXITING the property just pull up square to the gate - open and close manually If you think you will arrive after dark, then do not book until the following morning
