With only 11 unpowered sites spread out over 100 acres, you are guaranteed privacy for you and your family and friends.

A refreshing cold bush shower is available on site.
The farm also features a fantastic communal area for fellow traveller's to meet, chat, have a few drinks, sit by the amazing fire pit (during winter months), have a BBQ.
The farm features many beautiful hand raised farm animals such as, camels, cows, miniature goats, donkeys, alpacas, lambs, deer, a pig, emus, ducks, turkeys, guinea fowls, geese, rabbits, chooks and peacocks.
Spend some time strolling the stunning walk trails and taking in the amazing views on the property,

RULES AND GUILDELINES.
While staying at Sandalwood Downs we would like all visitors to understand and accept the guidelines and rules, which are in place for everybody’s happiness, comfort and safety.
YOUR FAMILIES SAFELY IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US:
- No bikes sorry. As we are a farm we do not have bike trails or paths. The paddocks are uneven terrain with incline and decline and are not safe for riding.
- No yelling or squealing in the communal / play ground area. This area is for everybody's enjoyment. If your children are yelling and squealing you will all be asked to leave the communal area.
- Please supervise your children at ALL times, this is for their safety. Children are not allowed to roam free around the farm without adults. Please ensure your children do not yell, squeal or run whilst around the animals.
-Children must be supervised in the communal playground area, The playground is closed for use at 6.pm.
- No lighting of campfires. Local Shire and DEFES have very strong rules regarding this, and if lighting of a fire occurs people will be prosecuted by DEFES and the local Shire up to $36000.00 or 3 years imprisonment,
-Fabulous communal fire pit open during winter months. No individual site camp fires due to safety of our property, animals and guests.
-If you smoke please place your butts in a sealed fire proof container. Please do not leave them on the ground as it is a fire risk and our animals may eat them causing health issues.
-No dogs permitted on the property due to our animals roaming free.
-You must be totally self contained, own power and water, (3 clean portable toilet and refreshing cold bush shower are available for use in the communal area).
-Please take away all rubbish.
-No big party groups.
-Quiet time from 7.30pm please. Please consider other guests and our neighbours.
-Check out of campsite by 11 am please.
-If a gate is closed, please close it behind you as will find it very hard to catch an animal that has escaped.
- Please do not enter animal enclosures/ paddocks without Jane or Marc.
-As we are a farm and you will be in our farm animals home, we ask you to please be kind and friendly towards all of our animals.
-You approach all animals at your own risk
-Please do not feed the animals any food that has not been given to you by Jane and Marc.
-Please drive very slowly through paddocks 10km per hour as animals roam freely.
-You will be handed a rules and guidelines policy when you arrive which includes an emergency and evacuation plan. Make sure you read and make yourself very aware of the guidelines, as your safety is very important to us.
-Arrival during day light hours is a must please arrival by 6pm, for yours and our animals safety. The front gate will be locked at 6pm for security reasons and will not unlocked till morning.

Redgum Hill
Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting.
Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter.
Valley Vista
Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm.
Creek Junction
Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue.
Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them.
Hidden Corner
Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of the three campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind.
Shed Pad (No longer has bathroom facilities)
Shed Pad is our only powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed. It has a patio area with a table and 4 chairs (an extra 2 can be provided if required). WIFI is also available for an additional fee. It is an intimate site, perfect for one large caravan or two small caravans and a couple of swags/tents.
It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. it is at the entrance to the property next to the main shed and in close proximity to the house.

RULES AND GUILDELINES.
While staying at Sandalwood Downs we would like all visitors to understand and accept the guidelines and rules, which are in place for everybody’s happiness, comfort and safety.
YOUR FAMILIES SAFELY IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US:
- No bikes sorry. As we are a farm we do not have bike trails or paths. The paddocks are uneven terrain with incline and decline and are not safe for riding.
- No yelling or squealing in the communal / play ground area. This area is for everybody's enjoyment. If your children are yelling and squealing you will all be asked to leave the communal area.
- Please supervise your children at ALL times, this is for their safety. Children are not allowed to roam free around the farm without adults. Please ensure your children do not yell, squeal or run whilst around the animals.
-Children must be supervised in the communal playground area, The playground is closed for use at 6.pm.
- No lighting of campfires. Local Shire and DEFES have very strong rules regarding this, and if lighting of a fire occurs people will be prosecuted by DEFES and the local Shire up to $36000.00 or 3 years imprisonment,
-Fabulous communal fire pit open during winter months. No individual site camp fires due to safety of our property, animals and guests.
-If you smoke please place your butts in a sealed fire proof container. Please do not leave them on the ground as it is a fire risk and our animals may eat them causing health issues.
-No dogs permitted on the property due to our animals roaming free.
-You must be totally self contained, own power and water, (3 clean portable toilet and refreshing cold bush shower are available for use in the communal area).
-Please take away all rubbish.
-No big party groups.
-Quiet time from 7.30pm please. Please consider other guests and our neighbours.
-Check out of campsite by 11 am please.
-If a gate is closed, please close it behind you as will find it very hard to catch an animal that has escaped.
- Please do not enter animal enclosures/ paddocks without Jane or Marc.
-As we are a farm and you will be in our farm animals home, we ask you to please be kind and friendly towards all of our animals.
-You approach all animals at your own risk
-Please do not feed the animals any food that has not been given to you by Jane and Marc.
-Please drive very slowly through paddocks 10km per hour as animals roam freely.
-You will be handed a rules and guidelines policy when you arrive which includes an emergency and evacuation plan. Make sure you read and make yourself very aware of the guidelines, as your safety is very important to us.
-Arrival during day light hours is a must please arrival by 6pm, for yours and our animals safety. The front gate will be locked at 6pm for security reasons and will not unlocked till morning.

Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter.
Valley Vista
Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm.
Creek Junction
Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue.
Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them.
Hidden Corner
Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of the three campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind.
Shed Pad (No longer has bathroom facilities)
Shed Pad is our only powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed. It has a patio area with a table and 4 chairs (an extra 2 can be provided if required). WIFI is also available for an additional fee. It is an intimate site, perfect for one large caravan or two small caravans and a couple of swags/tents.
It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. it is at the entrance to the property next to the main shed and in close proximity to the house.

Sunnybrook farm offers a peaceful retreat near Bridgetown, perfect for nature lovers and horse enthusiasts. Stay in our cozy Blue Wren cabin, sleeping four with a queen bed and single bunk beds, or the Red Robin cabin, sleeping three comfortably with a queen bed and pull-out mattress. Both cabins feature kitchenettes and rustic bathroom's. For larger groups, a glamping tent is available. Or you could bring an extra caravan. Unwind on your veranda, taking in the scenic paddock views with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. Explore the nature reserve across the road for bush walking, bird watching, and wildflower spotting.
Our offgrid cabins are solar powered, 12 volt appliances only, rainwater tanks and gas cooking. Chickens will eat vege and food scraps also have sheep wandering around the property.
We are situated 12 min from Bridgetown following the Blackwood river.
We have a separate area called" paddock view camp sites " only 3 camp sites available so everyone can have privacy - this area is for self sufficient campers only, there is potable water , sites have the morning sun and shade in the afternoon, our sheep wander around that area and horses might come up to say hello too .
A secure paddock and horse arena are on site, with nearby riding trails to explore. Meet our friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats, and maybe even some adorable new babies. Via Booking with Kim

This is a Wildlife Sanctuary for mostly orphaned kangaroos that are free to roam the property.We offer a chance to really get away from it all with a choice of camp sites without power.Your stay includes an experience with the orphaned kangaroos for free, patting and feeding. Anne was a wonderful host.
We accidentally arrived one night early but she very kindly let us stay.
The view from the campsite was stunning and sitting to watch the sunset followed by the Milky Way was breathtaking.
Communication was easy and the bathroom immaculate.

Fontys Pool was beautiful. As a couple without kids, we absolutely expected there to be children there during school holidays but the staff were amazing putting us in a little secluded corner away from all the hustle bustle and upgraded us when we asked if we could pay extra for a powered site if it was available. It was a wonderful little nook with power on green lawn and the pool was an added bonus! All facilities were well maintained, especially during peak period. Thank you for having us!

This is a great multi purpose site. It has some chalets and rooms but also parks for camper vans like us. Good facilities and a restaurant onsite. The place itself is beautiful with a big lake and loads of kangaroos. Our site itself was by the main reception near facilities - really useful but worth noting if you want to be remote and away from everything else. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return!

Kim and Darren have built a little slice of heaven and are graciously sharing it with their guests. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect place to bring in the new year, we booked the cabin and had our caravan in the top paddock as we had my parents with us as well. The kids loved the space to play and Kim was kind enough to show them around the property and feed some of the animals. It is an incredibly tranquil setting and only a 12 min drive into Bridgetown for groceries, cafe and restaurants.
Key things about the cabin, it has everything you need but nothing you don’t - it’s not a hotel, it’s a place to escape from the craziness, disconnect (or reconnect) and unwind. There’s no 240v so you’re not blow drying your hair or charging your laptop and the tv screen is outside and it’s on the nature channel 24/7. There’s a good sized fridge, gas cooking inside and bbq hot plate outside. The shower with a view is a nice touch as well.
We would definitely stay again next time we are in WA 😊

Beautiful surroundings. Lovely property set amongst the trees. Access is relatively easy and sites are laid out across different areas and levels.
We paid for shower and toilet access. Was a bit weird having to enter into main reception of lodge for shower. Facilities were well maintained. Only 1 shower though.
Nice stay, unique layout of sites and lodge means it is would researching before you go to see if it meets your needs / expectations.

Beautiful campsite with the loveliest hosts absolutely worth every penny. The ducklings and alpacas were a highlight, along with the emus wandering freely around the site. We were also lucky enough to spot a few kangaroos. The cute little shop run by Errol and Nola was a lovely touch. Overall, we truly loved our stay; it was incredibly relaxing after six days of a long road trip. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🙌🏼
