Beautiful....at right time of year
It is a beautiful resort. The grounds and gardens are lovely, with beautiful seating areas for the bar. You can carry your drings anywhere on the grounds, and they allow dogs on leads (for a rather large fee)
....but...
BE AWARE of this before booking.
DO NOT go in late February or March. We ended up booking a room and staying in that, cutting our stay by a night because of biting FLIES. Absolutely attacked, we couldn't sit outside for 3 minutes.
The WHOLE area is infested over that time. Not the resorts fault, obviously, but we didn't have a heads up on it, so disappointed in that.
The campsites are not private and very close together. They are directly in front of the lodge where all guests drive by to enter...tho they are in shade.
