The Forest Lodge is located just outside from Pemberton nestled in the Karrie Forest. Walking distance to the national park, the Gloucester tree with the Zipline park and the Pemberton town with all its attractions, like the Tram ride and the Mountain bike Park. The Lodge is a "Birds Lovers Paradise" and home to a very large Kangaroo mob, living on the property. The resort offers a large variety of accommodations that suite couples or families alike. The night sky is clear, and it offers the best Star gazing moments you could wish. With jogging and walking tracks that are good for mountain bikes on the property and around, it is an eldorado for the outside sportive person. Wineries, Pemberton Pool or the Big Brook Dam are all close by as well as the Golf course. Fun for everyone

Undercover Parking is in the entrance of the Chalet with easy access without any steps. The Chalet is very spacious and features a fireplace in the large living Room The Living room is set up with a comfortable leather couch Dining Table and small writing Desk with large mirror. Android Smart UHD TV 55 Inch with internet connection for Netflix and YouTube streaming, DVD Player. Free High Speed WIFI. Power plugs and USB Plucks are available. Loved the camping trip. Food was amazing at the restaurant and the service was perfect everyone so welcoming and friendly and the view with the lake was perfect.

For a hip camp I would not recommend for caravans. They have converted 8 regular carparks at the front of their building into 4 very small caravan sites which are right next to each other with no privacy whatsoever. We could only check in at 3 and after paying $60 on hipcamp for what we thought would be a lovely scenic private caravan spot we were sadly disappointed. After check in and seeing the gravel carpark caravan site we decide not to stay, we then got a message saying we needed to pay a pet fee on top of the $60 we paid to which we explained we would forgo our booking. We then went and found an awesome place to stay for $15 per night at an avocado farm which was private and surrounded by beautiful trees and birds. Can't speak for the rooms or restaurant but would not recommend for caravan or camper van stay.

It is a beautiful resort. The grounds and gardens are lovely, with beautiful seating areas for the bar. You can carry your drings anywhere on the grounds, and they allow dogs on leads (for a rather large fee) ....but... BE AWARE of this before booking. DO NOT go in late February or March. We ended up booking a room and staying in that, cutting our stay by a night because of biting FLIES. Absolutely attacked, we couldn't sit outside for 3 minutes. The WHOLE area is infested over that time. Not the resorts fault, obviously, but we didn't have a heads up on it, so disappointed in that. The campsites are not private and very close together. They are directly in front of the lodge where all guests drive by to enter...tho they are in shade.

Lovely site with great amenities. Right on the edge of Pemberton, so close to the swimming pool and dam. We loved the setting and beautiful gardens (with kangaroos!) Great selection of board games/DVD’s and lovely clean bathroom for showering after a day touristing around

Beautiful surroundings. Lovely property set amongst the trees. Access is relatively easy and sites are laid out across different areas and levels. We paid for shower and toilet access. Was a bit weird having to enter into main reception of lodge for shower. Facilities were well maintained. Only 1 shower though. Nice stay, unique layout of sites and lodge means it is would researching before you go to see if it meets your needs / expectations.

This is a great multi purpose site. It has some chalets and rooms but also parks for camper vans like us. Good facilities and a restaurant onsite. The place itself is beautiful with a big lake and loads of kangaroos. Our site itself was by the main reception near facilities - really useful but worth noting if you want to be remote and away from everything else. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or return!

When we booked through hicamp it only gave this option for camping with swags. The site was not geared up for camping, no camp kitchen, only 1 shower for the whole site. The spot we had to set the swags up was just sand that was full of ants. We paid $400 for 3 nights. It was a beautiful area though

Not really a spot for caravans. Ours isn’t a large van at that. We were put up the back our view was a brick wall and the night lights stayed on all night. We ended up covering them with alfoil. To me it’s a bit run down. Needs work which you can see is being done. But not where our van was. We made the most of Pemberton. Really enjoy the town.

This is a work in progress. The pitch was fine and the connections appeared brand new but there was some landscaping still to be done, as well as improved signage. Despite these reservations, we enjoyed our stay

This place is an oasis in the middle of the forest, lovely grounds, incredible restaurant, we had dinner and breakfast and loved the food. The staff are friendly and Ingo is a congenital host. Loved our stay and will definitely be back.

We had a great experience overall, the host was super helpful especially considering it was Christmas eve, the grounds are amazing and the lake is beautiful. The only downside for us was our camping site was essentially just a repurposed parking spot and, although it did have all the amenities we could ask for, it just didn't feel private at all and also had strong parking lights all around our van throughout the night. With some improvement, this could become a really great camping spot!

A nice and peaceful night out of Pemberton. Initially we were a bit worried because there was a miscommunication about camping in a tent but old mate fixed up a spot on the grass and were sorted for the night. The cabins looked nice and the resto looked very nice.

I loved camping in our rooftop tent at Forest Lodge! The setting there is beautiful and the local kangaroos were a real bonus! The hosts were lovely and the instructions were really clear!
