There are pubs in town to eat and enjoy a beverage. Campfires are subject to restrictions and if allowed, campers need to be bring their own self contained firepit and dispose of after. Light and noise pollution free for open star gazing and serene sunrise/sunset views. 2 Dams available to swim most of the year round. The closest has easy gravel access to the water, a kayak or SUP waiting for use. A longer walk with an incline into a clay based Dam is another option. During winter a creek runs through the south of the property. We have grazing sheep with multiple paddocks. 1 Alpaca, Oscar, keeping guard. During lambing season you may get a chance to see them up close. Eggs may be available to purchase, depending on demand from our chicken Coop. 35 acres vineyard with Varieties of white and red. There are many unofficial paths to wander on the property, the driveway itself is great for a leg workout. Most places around the farm will have spaces accessible to walk, you may just need to 'pick a path' depending on the rotation of mowing and the level of wetness during rainy seasons. There may be snakes present. We have personally only seen 1 tiger snake in the 3 years of being here and it wasn't in a place for easy walking. Just be mindful At the moment we are offering only sites for fully self contained set ups. Our infrastructure is slowly expanding and we hope to offer more amenities in the future. Feedback and ideas from seasoned caravaners would be appreciated for the long term vision. The property is well situated for mid south west exploration 15km South of Bridgetown 25km North of Manjimup 45min to Pemberton and Nannup 1.5hrs to Kojonup through the back forrest 1.45 to Karridale and Margs An easy 2.5hr drive to Albany on the scenic Muir Hwy. While the property itself has a farming foundation, with the addition of orchards and vegetable gardens on the horizon, we are a holistically minded outfit. As well as myself, Andrew, permanent residents include Marcia and Brendon and their young son Elijah. Our Land is 70 acres of mostly native bush with large Karri trees surrounding the beautiful views of the Irwin Inlet. The area cleared is where the original Benson Family lived. The house was burnt down and they then left. We moved up here 40 plus years ago and have slowly cleared the area. We are only 7 kms to the wonderful Peaceful Bay where all amount of activities can be taken. Safe swimming, fishing, surfing and boating. The famous Tree Top Walk is approximately 20 kms away, with the local Bow Bridge Roadhouse 5 mins away.Also located at Peaceful Bay are the famous local fresh fish and chips. We are situated approximately half way between Walpole and Denmark. All of our sites have views of the Irwin Inlet. As we use dam water for watering our garden we do have open dams near by. Just wanted all guests to be aware of this. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on leash. Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a contained drum unless there is a total fire ban. We would let you know if this was the case. We have fire pits to hire for $15

A secure paddock and horse arena are on site, with nearby riding trails to explore. Meet our friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats, and maybe even some adorable new babies. Clear View Farmstay and Camping is a large 1,500 acre sheep and cropping farm with a functioning equestrian facility on-site. The area is surrounded by the picturesque lakes, Nunijup and Poorarecup are only minutes away for swimming and in season skiiing spots.  Bring your own horses the area has access to long bush rides on horseback (we can accommodate your horses also!) along gravel roads and crown land.  Enjoy the local wineries, Stirling ranges in close proximity to Albany, Denmark and on the way through to Esperance. A cosy home to stay for a day or two. Dogs allowed only in certain areas on the farm on a leash at all times. Property also features a three-bedroom home available as a short-term holiday rental. Our Land is 70 acres of mostly native bush with large Karri trees surrounding the beautiful views of the Irwin Inlet. The area cleared is where the original Benson Family lived. The house was burnt down and they then left. We moved up here 40 plus years ago and have slowly cleared the area. We are only 7 kms to the wonderful Peaceful Bay where all amount of activities can be taken. Safe swimming, fishing, surfing and boating. The famous Tree Top Walk is approximately 20 kms away, with the local Bow Bridge Roadhouse 5 mins away.Also located at Peaceful Bay are the famous local fresh fish and chips. We are situated approximately half way between Walpole and Denmark. All of our sites have views of the Irwin Inlet. As we use dam water for watering our garden we do have open dams near by. Just wanted all guests to be aware of this. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on leash. Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a contained drum unless there is a total fire ban. We would let you know if this was the case. We have fire pits to hire for $15

Chickens will eat vege and food scraps also have sheep wandering around the property. We are situated 12 min from Bridgetown following the Blackwood river. We have a separate area called" paddock view camp sites " only 3 camp sites available so everyone can have privacy - this area is for self sufficient campers only, there is potable water , sites have the morning sun and shade in the afternoon, our sheep wander around that area and horses might come up to say hello too . A secure paddock and horse arena are on site, with nearby riding trails to explore. Meet our friendly Nigerian Dwarf goats, and maybe even some adorable new babies. What a perfect place! Views, peace, nature all in one package. Great to have a visit and fresh garden produce from our host and daughter. After dark was lovely with the fairy garden and tree lights. The Nature walk was delightful and not long. Well set up with little added touches of quoits, board games, books etc. Only ones there so lots of space. Only downside were the ants that came to visit. Thank you Matt!! Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Matt and his children have clearly put so much care into the property — the nature trail they’ve created is fantastic, with informative little placards all the way along. We were also delighted when the kids dropped off some fresh veggies from their garden — such kindness and genuine hospitality. A peaceful, thoughtful and well-run farm stay. Highly recommend.

Feeling so privileged to be Kim's first campers at her new hipcamp! She was warm & welcoming upon arrival - kindly offering site seeing suggestions around the area and activities for the kids. The property is lovely, with baby animals grazing in paddocks and lots of nature walks nearby. At night it was peaceful and we enjoyed listening to the frogs croaking in the nearby creek. We were lucky enough to even get to feed the goats and pat the new foals - an experience Kim explained she is more than happy to share with other campers via a prearranged appointment. We camped in a paddock, sometimes shared with sheep. It was spacious, grassy and flat ground on the side of a hill. The van did require levelling, however that was on us as we chose the view over more flat, higher ground. Kim kindly also offered us pavers to assist with levelling, however they weren't required.

WOW what an amazing property , Matt and his family are so warm , welcoming and fantastic hosts, the grounds to the property are superb and meticulously kept , so beautiful, scenic and well thought out , the serenity is amazing and the abundance of bird and fauna life is exceptional. The attention to detail and facilities for kids ( play ground equipment and games) , down to the nature walk around the edge of the front of the property with its plaques of information on the plant and animal life that frequent the property is a nice touch. The established Karri trees as tall as tall can be are exceptional. I would love to keep this place a secret but can't , I would highly recommend you visit Hideaway Highway its an absolute gem and my husband and I will be visiting again and again.

Great spot to spend a few days with ample room between each site on the property. Matt and family are fantastic hosts and we were surprised with a welcome gift of some lovely organic produce. Grounds are very well maintained with improvements ongoing, much more than just a spot in a paddock and would stay again if in the area.

This is our second stay at Highway Hideaway and won't be our last. The property is always beautiful (so much nature and amazing tall trees) and very well maintained. Matt is such a great host, always making sure we're having the best possible stay. Lovely peaceful location with stunning views. Lots of entertainment for the kids in the form of backyard tennis, kayaks and a pedal cat for the dam. My 11 year old was living his best life! Also loved driving in and seeing baby goats and a lamb and having geese and horses wonder through camp.

We actually camped at site 2 as we couldn’t initially find site 6. However this was a beautiful quiet spot with the shelter of large trees. Had a great campfire in the morning to cook breakfast on. We enjoyed our stay.

Very nice view with an overall peaceful and relaxing vibe. Our daughter got to cuddle some baby goats, go for a paddle on the dam and get greeted by horses at the front door of the van with breakfast. Hosts were lovely as well.
