**Please Note - Due to flooding damage last winter we lost our water supply to the bush baths and showers so they are unavailable until further notice. Please message us if unsure. Thank you for your patience.** This property has 70 acres of lush Karri forest with the original old logging trails from approximately 100 years ago, which make for beautiful nature walks. The track through the forest, for the main campsite is about 3.5m wide and and can get a little slippery so caution is needed but can be done in small and large vehicles (probably not big RV). There is open air bath and shower which is heated from an old brae-mar hot water system. There is one transportable long drop toilet near the site and a fire pit for cooking and sitting around but other from that you have to be self sufficient. There is access to drinking water.. If the campsite is unavailable or you don't won't to drive through the forest, you are welcome to set up camp on the green pasture on the hill with great views but there are NO amenities there and you would have to be completely self-contained. We are approximately a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Greens pool and Elephant Rocks beach, and about 15 minutes' drive to the town of Denmark, WA. Pets on leashes are welcome. For any further queries you're welcome to contact Dean via messages.

We really enjoyed the location, amazing place amongst the trees. Weather was poor and unfortunately the baths weren’t working (a warm bath would have been great to get rid of the winter chill. Thanks Dean.

I am always of two minds about these reviews, especially such a positive review. I often think, we found this little gem, why should we share it? Then I think of the host, and how good they were! Dean is such a great host, we felt very welcomed and can tell he loves his land and people experiencing it. The camping sites are amazing, with a 100-year-old Karri forest, a huge flat grassy site, fire pit and ample firewood. The drive-in and out is a bit of a challenge, but this adds to its appeal,. Very close to Denmark and all the famous vineyards on Scotsdale Drive. We cant wait to come back. See you Soon Dean (and the guinea pigs)!

Back to nature life time experienc
Dean could not of been more obliging, nothing was too much trouble. Absolute tranquillity and nature at its best. As we had a big van we camped up on top of the hill with the kookaburra's and cows which where in another paddock. Absolute joy to be able to show my granddaughter some real animals. If you just want to vege out and relax, wind down this is the place to come. The natural karri Forrest is amazing.
