The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rockcliffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here outside of our cellar door hours. Overflow camping is also available in the paddock across from the winery, suitable over summer when it is dry and we are running our summer music events over the weekend. Please get in touch to enquire about this. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist, this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. We also offer Cheese Platters, Pizza's and Fries. The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 1-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays.

The house was burnt down and they then left. We moved up here 40 plus years ago and have slowly cleared the area. We are only 7 kms to the wonderful Peaceful Bay where all amount of activities can be taken. Safe swimming, fishing, surfing and boating. The famous Tree Top Walk is approximately 20 kms away, with the local Bow Bridge Roadhouse 5 mins away.Also located at Peaceful Bay are the famous local fresh fish and chips. We are situated approximately half way between Walpole and Denmark. All of our sites have views of the Irwin Inlet. As we use dam water for watering our garden we do have open dams near by. Just wanted all guests to be aware of this. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on leash. Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a contained drum unless there is a total fire ban. We would let you know if this was the case. We have fire pits to hire for $15

There is one transportable long drop toilet near site 1. There is a fire pit for cooking but other from that you have to be self sufficient. There is access to drinking water up at the house. If the campsite is unavailable or you don't won't to drive through the forest, you are welcome to set up camp on the green pastures with great views but there are NO amenities there and you would have to be completely self-contained. We are approximately a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Greens pool and Elephant Rocks beach, and about 15 minutes' drive to the town of Denmark, WA. Pets on leashes are welcome. The track through the forest to the main campsite is about 3.5m wide, it can get a little slippery so caution is needed, a 4WD is recommended if towing a camper or caravan during the winter months. 2WD is ok in summer months. There is one transportable long drop toilet near site 1. There is a fire pit for cooking but other from that you have to be self sufficient. There is access to drinking water up at the house. If the campsite is unavailable or you don't won't to drive through the forest, you are welcome to set up camp on the green pastures with great views but there are NO amenities there and you would have to be completely self-contained. We are approximately a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Greens pool and Elephant Rocks beach, and about 15 minutes' drive to the town of Denmark, WA. Pets on leashes are welcome. This picturesque grassed property is situated 19 Kms along the scenic Scotsdale Road tourist route in Denmark, W.A. As Rickety Gate is a working farm with electric fences, cattle and various hazards for children, the responsibility of having them on site is too great for us. We do hope you understand. Cellar Door is open Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00am - 4:30pm for tastings and purchases. Hipcamp guests will receive 20% discount off the full range of wines which can be purchased throughout the week.

Lovely peaceful location with stunning views. Lots of entertainment for the kids in the form of backyard tennis, kayaks and a pedal cat for the dam. My 11 year old was living his best life! Also loved driving in and seeing baby goats and a lamb and having geese and horses wonder through camp.

last night we slept at the vineyard! It was perfect! I would recommend to order a bottle (or 2 if you’re smart 🥸) of wine at the host, this tastes extra good in the middle of the particular vineyard! The sunset is nice behind the fields. A bunch of guinea fowls which enter the trees during sunset is also pretty entertaining. BIG RECOMMENDATION!!!

Williams Bay National Park
