This site was certainly private, and I imagine it would be pretty too when the grapevines are green (we visited in winter, brown spindly vines). The fire pit in the picture is not there, which was unexpected since it features in the ad. We didn't know where to put our firewood, and it seems that neither did others. Luckily we had brought wood; it says you can buy some for $20 but the hosts were nowhere to be found even when I opened the door to the cellar to see if it was open. We didn't light a fire in the end. We picked up someone else's dog poo.
It's private, and you will not be disturbed. Usually it's campers who prefer not to be disturbed but on this occasion I think it was the hosts. Other than an open gate, there was no sign of being welcome to stay.
So 1. bring your own firepit and firewood, 2. pick up your dog poo or you're leaving it for the next campers.
I might stay again if I had no other options, but I didn't feel welcome.
We loved the site at top tank ! Everything was a breeze from the communication ,directions and the site was lovely ,so quite,lovely views close to town ,everything we expected and more , thanks Narda from Cathy ,Paul and Oscar

Loved the site, private and open. Great location and only 23 mins from Albany. Very quiet and comfortable.
Great spot and a bonus is there is only 1 site so you have the place to yourself.
Quick run into Albany and would definitely stay again

We loved our stay here. It was so peaceful and private. It was great to base ourselves here, head out and explore Albany and Denmark during the day and return to our secluded site.

comparing this site to others we have stayed I believe it is not justified for what it is . Really nothing has been done to charge the price it is .
eg Hyden had 14 sites in the bush , but provided a toilet and a tidy area for $25
Our next site (again a vineyard )just above MR has tidy prepared area near a dam for 4 sites for $40
Lovely property, only 1 site so very private. Great shady spot to chill during the day and owner provided us with some great tips on sights to see.
Easy access for long trailer too.
The site was very tight hard to manoeuvre with large rig. Tidy up dog excrement before new guests arrive would be nice, and maybe keep your dog away from the camp site incase other guests might have fear of dogs.
Other than that it was convenient and close to Albany.

Great little spot to base and explore Albany/mt barker region. Peaceful and quiet, hosts are great, a touch on the pricey side but the benefit is you have the whole spot to yourself to enjoy.
We really enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Very quiet and peaceful. Only 15 minutes to Albany and 45 mins to Denmark. We'll definitely be back in the near future.

Lovely little location, we used it as a base to travel to Albany one day and the Porongurups the next. Clear directions to find. Flat ground, great outlook over the vineyard.

This is a great sport. Quiet, private and the sunsets over the vines are spectacular.
What a top little spot! Great location, only a short trip to Albany and a leisurely drive to the Granite Skywalk and Mount Barker (which has an impressive bakery). We had complete privacy, spectacular sunsets and though we couldn't have a fire, it would be perfect when permitted. The night sky was also super clear and should delight anyone who enjoys stargazing or satellite spotting. We're stoked to have found such a gem of a place (especially during the busy season) in our travels around Australia.
This was our favourite hip camp to date! So private, no other campers around being the only site. Plenty of sun for solar and shade close by to rest under. The rolling hills behind the property make for an awesome sunset view. Worth noting that access was tight with low(ish) hanging trees. The 90 degree turn to get into site would be testing to navigate with a bigger 23ft van (manageable but tight). You do hear highway noise and airport noise in the distance but the farm sounds usually mask it. Absolutely loved it here and would 100% come back.

Lovely private area overlooking a vineyard. So close to Porongurup NP, Mt Barker and Albany. We had a lovely two nights and enjoyed the firepit and view. Thank you.

Very peaceful spot, the fire pit was great, not far from town which was very handy for the beach and the shops. Nice sunsets over the grapevines. Good level place to park the camper. Thank you very much
