Average but good park facilities
I booked this over a long weekend when I couldn’t find anything else — the upside was I finally found something! The downside? I knew it would be pretty average. (If they don’t show interior photos, that’s usually a sign 😅).
The caravan park itself is great — nice pool, jumping pillow, close to the beach, and clean bathrooms. The van, though, is very old and quite musty. Only one window opened for airflow. The bed was comfy enough but on wheels, so it moved around a bit. Air con in the annexe worked really well.
Kitchen was basic — rusty pots and pans (not really usable), fridge and microwave were fine, kettle had calcium floaties, and there was no stove as advertised — just an electric frypan.
It’s surrounded by permanent residents and their dogs, but everyone (humans included!) were well behaved. It’s also a bit of a walk to the toilets in the middle of the night.
All in all, if you can’t find anything else, it’ll do — but I wouldn’t choose to stay in this van if I had other options.
