2 nights at Hidden River Valley, Buckenbowra

We had a fantastic 2 nights camping, such a beautiful spot right along the river. The water is crystal clear and the surrounds are so peaceful. We camped with our 2 dogs and they had a ball, swimming and exploring. Peter and Leonie are fabulous hosts, making sure you have everything for your stay. The shower and toilet facilities are a welcomed added bonus, both super clean and great hot water. We cannot recommend this spot enough, definitely worth a visit.

Jacqueline's Hipcamp glamping experience was absolutely amazing! The site was beautifully set up, offering the perfect balance of nature and comfort. The tents were cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings and stunning views made it feel like a true escape. Sarah was a wonderful host, making sure everything was perfect and providing helpful tips for local activities. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and tranquil getaway!

Tom was very welcoming and the patch is a great spot for a big group. We were just two so we had plenty of room and it was nice and private. We got rained on the whole time and were offered some eggs to make up for the rain.

This place is breathtaking! We had shocking rainy weather and it was still amazing. I had a bath and felt so relaxed with the hot spring water in the bath. It can get a bit slippery leaving the farm in the wet but it can be done! Norm and his entire family are lovely and welcoming. Would highly recommend a stay here.

3 nights at Scribbly Gum secluded bush camping

Site 4 is a good sized campsite. We had our caravan annexe and car on it with lots of leftover room. It's a short walk to a beautiful river, where it's nice for a swim on a hot day. The camp lives up to its name as there are many beautiful squiggly gum trees. Our host Phil was available when we arrived if we needed anything. The fact that there isn't any internet server available made it so much better to relax and unwind for the duration of our stay. I highly recommend Squiggly Gum Camp for a peaceful getaway.

4 nights at Mungerarie Farm

What a lovely spacious site with really easy access to the river. The site was even mowed before we arrived which was a nice touch. A very generous amount of firewood if you purchase through hipcamp too. Quite a few flys/bugs but to be expected on a paddock. Site 3 also had reasonable shade down by the river too.

2 nights at Bunga Summit

Nicely grassed site for 4 groups. Quiet surrounds and a nice 25 minute walk down to the beach. Toilet is clean. Hut/shed is open so if it's wet there is somewhere dry to head to.

1 night at Meringo Beach Camp

It was such a great space with great amenities and a great beach next door. Would definitely recommend.

Weekend Trip to Pigeon Bank Acres

A lovely little abode, with a well decorated interior and secluded views that surpassed the photos online. Firewood was supplied and prepared, with a nice little treat to follow. Amenities were solid and the outdoor shower was a nice addition. Overall a great experience!

This is a stunning camping spot with exclusive freshwater Clyde River frontage. We accept only one booking at a time, ensuring you have the use of the entire camp and amenities to yourselves. To secure your booking we require a minimum of 6 adults (2 x children= 1 adult). A minimum 3 nights are required over the summer holidays. Day trip possibilities are plentiful as the Shoalhaven has a lot to offer. We are 20km west of beautiful Bawley Point beaches, 33km south of historic Milton which boasts fine dining plus great shopping and the same distance via a different route to Ulladulla and its quaint harbour. For the more energetic there some great bushwalks, including climbing Didthul (pigeon house). Ideally configured for 20. Additional camp sites are available in an adjoining space. The shed has a bar with cold, potable water. A few tables and chairs are provided for your convenience. With private access to one of the largest waterholes on the freshwater Clyde, you are welcome to bring your own kayaks, fishing gear (license required) and flotation devices. Children are welcome, although must be supervised at all times due to the proximity of the river and steep bush land. Sorry, pets are not permitted with future bookings This is not a party venue. Please note access roads are not all sealed, including 18km gravel via Milton and 13km gravel via Termeil. Currently suitable for all vehicle types.

Roagumba Farm

Roagumba, or Roa for short, is our 920 acre patch of paradise in the stunning Yowrie Valley, an area traditionally inhabited by the Yuin people. Roa is a working cattle farm, made up of approximately 60% cleared land and the rest native bushland. The Yowrie Valley is largely surrounded by the beautiful Wadbilliga National Park. It is a 35 minute drive to the beaches near Bermagui, whilst the historic and quirky town of Tilba is 40 minutes away. The crystal clear Yowrie River flows along the western side of the property with numerous secluded swimming holes. The property is a working cattle farm so you're likely to meet some very friendly Jersey cows during your stay, as well as a lot of native wildlife such as kangaroos, wombats and birds. We cater for small groups who are seeking a quiet, peaceful escape. Our sites are small and are capped at 6 people each, per night. To reduce traffic and out of respect to our neighbours, there is a maximum of 2 vehicles allowed per site. One additional vehicle per site can be organised, however we need at least 72 hours notice.

Beautiful Coastal farmland near to Mimosa Rocks National Parks. Easy to access. Close to stunning townships of Bermagui just 15mins north and Tathra 30mins south. Observe an abundance of wildlife - spot an eagle, kangaroo, wallaby, possum, goanna, wombat or whale! Surf or swim any of the amazing beaches or lagoons -Bunga, Hidden Valley, Arraganuu, Bithry, Cuttagee, Camel Rock, Horseshoe Bay or Blue Pool. Walk the dog at Beares beach in Bermagui or Cuttagee beach, 10mins drive north. This is an incredible coastline to explore. Enjoy local fresh produce from Bermagui farmers market in summer on Thursday afternoons; Saturday market at Honorbread courtyard; fresh seafood either catch yourself or purchase from Bermagui Fishermans Wharf. There is a little shed on this patch of land and campers have access to an undercover area off the side of the shed plus half of the inside area of the shed not being used for storage. There is a rainwater tank at the back of the shed. A nice, new compost toilet faces into the bush, we no longer use the one at the back of the shed. To locate when heading south on Tathra -Bermagui Rd , Turn left into Hergenhans Rd which is approx 14km south of Bermagui, then left into Wrens Rd (Goalen N Rd on google maps) , follow Wrens Rd about 800m and you'll see a gateway on your right with Hipcamp sign (Bunga Summit). It is opposite gateway on left with Lot 3 sign. The next gate is padlocked where the shed is. To access Bunga Beach, continue along Wrens Rd through neighbouring properties. The road has recently been resurfaced so is now accessible with 2WD. This is National Park so you can't have dogs here. To access Back Bunga Beach continue along Hergenhans Rd and left onto O'sheas Rd which is also a good accessible road. taking you through neighbouring properties and ending at Mimosa Rocks National Park. This is an amazing walk from the carpark south along the beach to Hidden Valley. For dog walking beaches head to Cuttagee just 10mins north towards Bermagui, or Beares Beach in Bermagui. For injured wildlife or any wombats with mange around the campsite please phone my neighbour Sara as she volunteers for Wildlife Rescue South Coast. Scribbly Gum secluded bush camping

This property is in Northangera with the Mongarlowe River running along the boundary. It's covered in trees and provides a pristine environment amongst the "Scribbly Gums". It has flat areas with plenty of free timber for the designated fire pits. I have tried to create a haven for wildlife including Kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and platypus. I cherish the cleanliness of the river and surrounds and wish to be able to share this special environment with others who care to preserve all it offers. You can explore the property along the tracks, paddle, swim or fish in the river, enjoy the fauna, wildlife and birdlife. Located not far from Braidwood, a town steeped in history, with good shopping, coffee shops and great food. Sloping to flat land amongst the Scribbly Gum trees offering a number of sites and walks through the property. It provides both sun and shade. Access is good for vans of any size along a track through the bushland. Lovely swimming spots in the Mongalowe River, beautiful clear water, and several lovely bushwalks around the property. There is only Telstra reception available in this area. We offer 7 different sites and the maximum stay is 7 nights.

We are located just south of the Mogo township on the NSW south coast, in prime position for mountain biking fanatics as the Maulbrooks Mountain Bike Park and Mogo State Forest are just to our west. We are 5 mins from the New MOGO MTB trails! On hot days you can grab your swimmers, snorkel and surfboard, and head down to a number of beaches at Tomakin and Broulee (15 mins from camp). When exploring the region, don't forget to stop in at the famous township of Mogo. This gorgeous village offers a quirky mix of art, crafts, homewares and collectibles, as well as fantastic food, clothing, specialty items, and well known favourites like Mogo Fudge or some marshmallows to toast on the campfire. The campsite is nestled amongst the tall gum trees and overlooks the dam. There is a firepit with a hot plate for delicious camp out dinners and firewood is available for sale under Extras. There is access to a toilet and rubbish facilities, but you will need to bring your own drinking water and shower. We can cater for all types of camping vehicles and tents, including 2WD. She is also an artist and offers Aboriginal Art Classes and Boomerang Design Workshops - book one during your stay for an enriching cultural experience. The nearest beach to the property is Depot Beach, a 10-minute drive away, a beautiful cove with some lovely nearby bush and coast walks through the Murramarang National Park. The nearest river swimming is Shallow Crossing, with crystal clear waters, also just 10 minutes away. There are also some well-established bushwalks on the property if you aren't wanting to venture out. Clyde River Berry Farm is on the way to Shallow Crossing, a great day out for the kids, where you can pick your own berries (when in season) and have their berry ice cream. Plus the famous East Lynne Pie Shop is not far away - try their apple pies! Batemans Bay is also just a 15-minute drive south, the closest large township for supplies, cafes, restaurants and the beautiful Clyde River entrance.

The amazing local area includes courtesy buses to multiple venues including the Waterfront Hotel, The Adelaide Pub, bowling and golf club - great meals and bar options. Also a must visit to the Quantum Brewery and The River restaurant for a true foodie experience. MOGO zoo, only a short 15min drive is worth a visit and for those who love to mountain bike, the new track opens soon and we hear it has “magic dirt”! Don’t forget to visit BODALLA and feed the calf’s at 10am and 4pm daily - the ice cream and milkshakes are worth the trip.

Silvertop Ash Bush Block

Undeveloped 7 acre bush block. Close to the centre of Kalaru and the lagoon. Minutes drive or cycle to mountain biking tracks and beautiful Tathra. Enjoy the sound of the bell birds. If you're lucky, you might see some native Orchids (usually blossoming around mid-November), or pop down to Tathra to watch whales on their migration or taking a break to feed south of Tathra Head. Please note: - This block is undeveloped, bar a short driveway. There are no services at this block (water, power, sewage, internet, waste collection etc.). It is the responsibility of campers to collect and remove their own waste. Info on the nearest waste facilities will be provided prior to check in. - Ticks are present on this block. Please ensure that campers have appropriate supplies (or are prepared to otherwise seek assistance) to deal with ticks and that pets are protected appropriately. - Snakes may also be present, although we have not personally sighted any. - This block used to be attached to a nearby farm. The land is largely clean, but there are is the odd old bit of barbed wire or drum lying around. Please exercise appropriate caution when walking around the block. - The block is heavily wooded. Bushfire restrictions may impact on the ability to have a camp fire. Permits may also be required. - There are neighbours nearby. Please be considerate and courteous of those around them at all times. Keep noise to acceptable levels, particularly on weekends or in the evenings. - Pets are accepted on the property. Campers are expected to clean up after their pets, ensure noise is kept to a minimum and that their pets are appropriately restrained (i.e. can't get at native wildlife or our neighbours). The property is not sufficiently fenced to contain pets.

You can spend all your time on the Retreat, or you can explore the local area. You are only 30 minutes from many of the beautiful beaches of the South Coast, or from the lovely villages of Milton and Nelligen. Ulladulla and Bateman’s Bay are also nearby. Our property lies in the hinterland of Bermagui and features partially cleared, rolling hills and mountains of bush. Pets and kids are welcome. We own friendly dogs. We are rebuilding after the bushfires. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower. The campsite has access to drinking water. No bins here please take your rubbish with you. Enjoy hanging around the campfire, cooking a meal or toasting marshmallows. We have firewood available. You dont need a 4WD to access the campsite. Vehicle and tent campers welcome. We are located about 30 minutes to the coast and the township of Bermagui. It's a good spot for fishing, prospecting, swimming, cafes and adventures, and you can get all the supplies you need in town. You are welcome to bring dirt bikes and boats to use in the region.
