Very quiet, secluded and relaxing site! We had a lovely time here on a long weekend. Sites were nicely spread out.

Stunning campsite! My husband, our pup, and I camped in our tent at site 3, staying 2 nights. Great site to camp with dogs!
We shared it with wallabies, kangaroos, possums, curious magpies, and wedge tailed eagles flying overhead. The view is gorgeous, directly overlooking the dam at the bottom of the property. During the night you can hear the ocean and an orchestra of frogs and insects.
The location is ideal. We spent our days at the beach and came back to camp to relax. We picked up takeaway from Moruya and brought it back to camp for lunch.
Leigh is a wonderful host, with great local knowledge. She was responsive, welcoming, and proactive in her communication. The site was clean and tidy when we arrived, with a fire pit provided. Leigh advised that all sites had been sprayed for ticks (which was very reassuring)! The sites were all clearly signposted and private. We did see another group of campers on the way in, but that was it. Very private!
Some things to be aware of --
📐 As others have mentioned this site 3 is sloped, so just be mindful of that when booking. There is no properly flat ground. Avoid slipery surfaces (e.g. air mattresses), think about how you can level things out, and if you're already a bit unsteady on your feet, I wouldnt recommend this site for you. We probably would have done just one night, as two was a bit hard on our backs.
🐜 We were visited by a few bull ants, and our pup was bitten by one. Just keep an eye out.

This is a beautiful nature spot, with kangaroos and goannas roaming freely around the property. We initially assumed the ground would be flat enough for a caravan but found it wasn’t quite suitable, the hosts were incredibly accommodating and allowed us to relocate to a flatter area. A lovely place to experience nature, with genuinely helpful hosts.

Lovely spot, not far from civilisation but feeling of remote. Very convenient and high quality fire pits set out. Only a few minutes from Moruya and some really nice beaches. Beautiful bird calls all around. Fully shaded.
Ground on sites 1 and 2 was a bit sloped which is fine for us in our camper trailer which could level via chocks, but suggest swaggers and tenters might struggle to find perfectly flat ground. Site 4 looked good for that though...

We had the best stay.
We stayed in swags and had our porta loo.
Very quiet location with lots of wild life around,
Would recommend if you are self-sufficient with own power and toilets.
There is a lovely fireplace area in each camp-site, which we didn't use due to fire danger in the area.
I would definitely recommend 👌🏼

The listing mentioned fully stocked wood heap on the site when booking, once booking is made the messages that come through from the owners say if you use any wood please try and fill for the next booking, so obviously you rely on other campers to fill, our booking was for 4 nights and honestly the only wood on the property was spread out and it is either dead crumbly sticks or logs that you need a chainsaw to cut up. Might be a trivial complaint but at the end of the day that was what was heavily advertised, and as campers you spend a lot of hours around the fire every evening... Other 2 sites were in the same situation. The property is in a great location but if taking a tent be warned not really any flat ground (maybe site 1 a little) if you get site 3 you will be disappointed camping or van, would consider going back but not at holiday prices.

We had a great 5 night stay at Leigh's site. It's really well located for Moruya and the surrounding towns and beaches. Its a very private site as youre quite far away from sites 1 & 2. It is quite a sloped sited so it's helpful if you have a trailer or something to help level it. We loved all the firewood provided and watching the kangaroos jump through the site.

Loved the peace and quiet at 10 Acres on Congo. Wallabies, Kangaroos, naughty Possums and birds abound here.
Close to town for supplies, courtesy coach taken to the Golf Club for a good Chinese feed. Close to Moruya Heads for a beach or river swim. Boat ramp at Peddys Wharf was very close and easy to launch our tinny from.

Good location just out of Moruya township.
Extremely private and peaceful from a vehicle/person perspective- we stayed mid week and im sure only 4-5 cars passed by. Very quite.
Host is very helpful with communication which felt super supportive.
Address is clearly sign posted for arrival including sites which was wonderful and easy to spot returning through the evening.
Sites 1, 2 and 3 are spread far apart so you won't hear other campers if multiple sites are booked. You can see all sites from one another so keep this in mind for your camping preference.
All three sites are slopped and depending on your setup may be difficult to level. We have airbags and had the axle maxed out to level the van.
Ground conditions were excellent, well kept and fire wood is supplied and stocked which was a highlight.
Communication was provided regarding potential fire bans and was appreciated being from out of town.
Plenty of bugs, flying ants, flys and midges/gnats so be mindful of this for your experience.
Wildlife was great, spotted over 50 kangaroos easy and birds dropping in and out as expected.
I wouldn't rush back, but if I was with a group it would be a fitting site. The privacy was unmatched so as mentioned, if this suits your experience than it will be a fitting site for you.

Great place to camp, really enjoyied the stay, quiet and not situated next to a busy road. Firewood was supplied and there was even a little herb garden was a really nice touch. Strongly recommend

Beautiful spot. Close to the beach and Mogo mountain biking and town.
Leigh was amazing to correspond with and the site was absolutely amazing. Fire pit was a real treat.
There was a bit of a slope for the old swag but apart from that highly rate it.

The tent camping here was fantastic! There was plenty of supplied firewood, and the tree coverage kept the site nice and cool during the warmer afternoons. It’s conveniently close to town and the local beaches, which made exploring easy. One thing to be aware of there are a lot of ticks in the area. If you’re bringing dogs, make sure their tick treatment is up to date and give both them and yourself a daily check.

We just spent a lovely long weekend there on site 1. Absolutely loved the fire pit area. Firewood supplied. The property was quite and relaxing. As expected in the bush there were a lot of mosquitoes so make sure you pack the areoguard. Site 2 is closer than looks in the photos but still far enough that you weren't ontop of each other or hearing each others conversations. Definatley worth the trip.

Leigh was an excellent communicator, notifying me of any changes.
* Note: Didn’t realise there was no access to Congo via the Congo Road but wasn’t a huge issue have to drive around.

Immersed in nature. We were able to fit our 18ft caravan in and didn’t leave the site the first day as the kids and dog ran wild as we had the place to ourselves. Plenty of good fire wood provided made for cosy afternoons around the fire pit.
Yes there were a few ticks sighted but that’s to be expected being in the bush, just covered everyone in bushman’s and didn’t have any issues.

Our stay at this Hipcamp in the Congo exceeded all expectations. The stunning views overlooking the valley are truly a sight to behold, and the well-maintained grassy areas provide a perfect spot for relaxation. The firepits are a fantastic addition—thanks to the hosts for thoughtfully building them, they made our evenings even more enjoyable.
Communication with the hosts was seamless and friendly, which added a personal touch to our experience. The added security of a chain across the gate gave us peace of mind, allowing us to confidently leave our belongings while we explored the area.
The pricing is also excellent, offering great value for such a wonderful spot. A big thank you to the hosts for making this possible. We travel frequently, and this is a place we’ll definitely be returning to. See you again soon!

Amazing stay for the Christmas/new years break!
We were far enough out to feel secluded but still only 5 min from the town and the beach!
Leigh was a lovely host and so were our neighbours over our stay!

Was told when we arrived of ticks in the area when we arrived grounds are not flat like described and you are removing ticks from yourself everyday

Property was easy to find, easy to access and was very peaceful. We only had a neighbour two of the nights we stayed but he was also quiet. The fire pit with wood was a nice comfort too. Be careful coming here with kids and pets, our son loved the the freedom and space but he got 3 ticks on him over our stay and I one in my beard. The camp was also on a gradient which we found difficult to set our camper up but got there in the end. Price for the stay was fair, thanks for having us.

Amazing!! I almost don’t want to write a review because then it might get booked out. Beautiful area, great location, very quiet (except for the other campers who brought a generator and had it on until midnight but that’s just sh*t campers).
Fire pit and set up great, overall great value for bush camping!! Go to a caravan park if you need a generator on all night 🙏
