At Wildwoods you'll find 330 acres of natural bushland and a small amount of cleared farmland/paddocks with incredible views in every direction. Endless gullies, mountains, forests, cliffs, and caves to explore on the property or on the crown land adjoining. An amazing amount of wildlife - Birds, wombats, kangaroos of all kinds (wallaby, wallaroo, eastern greys etc), goannas, echidnas, turtles, ducks just to name a few. There are also plenty of roads to ride and explore via mountain bike or foot. The road in is a little rough, and there is only a small amount of levelled land. But it is still an amazing spot, where nature does all the hard work, and I would love to share it with people. This is the perfect place for those who want to be in total peace and quiet, surrounded by nature and wildlife. Each campsite is private, where by you're the only camper able to book the site. Some are more private than others - Read each description for details. *Please note* access to the property is via Megalong Road - a narrow windy road, the only road in and out of Megalong Valley. Our stay with Robert was honestly amazing! The space itself was big, spotless, and really well set up. The shower?l and toilet really good. And the firepit area was such a vibe. The pool was chef’s kiss — perfect for cooling off and floating around. And the absolute stars of the place? His three adorable dogs who decided we were part of their squad and played with us the whole time. We were obsessed. Robert himself was incredibly kind, sweet, and super attentive — the kind of host who makes everything feel easy and welcoming. 100% recommended

We had an awesome time camping here! Robert was very welcoming, knowledgeable and super friendly. We took our motorhome out for its first rodeo and found the site peaceful with great amenities and easy access. The pool and friendly dogs were a bonus which our kids loved. Highly recommend!

It was perfect for our camping trip with young children. Gumtree grove was so peaceful, we loved the short walk to the river. The trampoline was a pleasant surprise and we were very grateful to have canoes to play on. Totally magical spot. Would love to go back.

We enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of rice patch camp. The cleared area provided large space for the car, tent and star gazing. And well protected from the westerly wind We sat in the bush for shade during the day. The track to camp was rough in a few spots which slowed us down, allowing us time to appreciate the beautiful trees. It’s a great bush camp for campers who are able to be totally self reliant. Our host provided us with useful information and local tips. We are grateful for our host sharing their property.

A beautiful quiet retreat in the Mountains. Claudia was so helpful and genuinely welcoming. My dog and I enjoyed a massive steak and quiet reflection around the campfire. The view we awoke to in the morning was gorgeous.

What a beautiful place to stay. i couldn't reccomend it enough ! Me and my partner stayed here 2 nights while we explored sydney and we would come back again. Robert was a gem of a host and was more then happy to give us recommendations of places to eat and to visit. With 3 lovely resident dogs: Zoe, Max and Rusty, and the option to have a campfire, our stay was welcoming and cosy. The facilities were clean and functioning and the grass where we pitched our tent was flat and bindi free. If you're looking for a comfortable stay, this is 100% the place

My girlfriend and I loved camping at Wildwoods! We stayed at the Ridge Top campsite which had a beautiful view of the valley with plenty of space for tents and campfires. The host Claudia was so lovely and helpful when we had issues come up, and it was a very well priced stay in my opinion! Definitely recommend staying at Wildwoods.

We camped at the base of sunset hill and it was so lovely, we had full use of the hill top to enjoy the view and the beautiful birds flying around. The fire pit for this site is on the hill to enjoy toasting marshmallows while you watch the sun set. We also had 2 peacocks come over close to our camp which was fun to see! :)
