It's an easy 9 minute drive to Pottsville Beach and we offer a flat patch of grassed land next to a dam with a maximum of 4 separate occupants (so it will never be crazy and over crowded like a caravan park). We accept all types of RVs, caravans, vans and camper trailer. All Hipcampers must be carrying their own toilet. We do not accept tents or swags. The perfect spot to spread out and relax, have a camp fire, look at the trees and explore the wonders Northern Rivers has to offer. These include beautiful beach's, walks, hikes, the Tweed Valley Rail Trail and Uki Mountain bike park all close by. Only 7 minute drive into Pottsville town which has an IGA, great cafes and restaurants, bottle shop and a few specially stores. 30min drive to either the Gold Coast or Byron Bay. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all rubbish and waste with them on departure. Misty Ridge is a beautiful place to camp! The water fountain and the garden created a sense of tranquillity and peace. Kirsty was a very welcoming host and her communication skills are excellent! The site is on the Rail Trail so we made the most of that by hiring an ebike and pet trailer for the dog at Moobil. The Cafe down the road made excellent coffee and the pub at Moobil was great and even make dogs welcome in the outdoor covered area. All in all one of the most pleasant hipcamp stays!

Great spot. We stayed at a nice grassy camp next to a small creek. Clean and spacious and a nice bricked fire pit. Night sky is amazing there as well. Perfect for taking a telescope. The owner is extremely communicative which helpful when booking last minute.

Wonderful, amazing, peaceful and lush - very clean and lots of shade to sit by the dam and relax. Rail trail 100m from camp and the town of Burringbar is 5min ride- 2 mins in car- and has everything you need- incredible butcher, cafe and food store that sells wine and spirits too. Antiques and collectible store very interesting to.

Beautiful spot for our 5 day stay to do absolutely nothing or 5 mins drive into Potsville for coffee or the beach. We stayed in the creekside camp, flat drive in drive out site. Creek was lovely with so many photo choices with great lighting, also nice to have our own firepit to cook in and enjoy a wine beside. Lisa and John very helpful but totally respect your privacy. Also great spot just of the highway for an overnight rest spot.

Lovely camp site adjacent to a large pond. 100m from the Northern Rivers rail trail. 2 km from the cafe/general store. Host will supply firewood and a fire pit upon request. Next door to a house paddock. Only 2 sites on the southern pond area with plenty of space between.
