2023 HIPCAMP RUNNER- UP FOR BEST CABIN RENTAL IN AUSTRALIA
We have converted a container into a tiny home overlooking our gardens. Relax and unwind by the outdoor fireplace by night while you enjoy the sunset views over the hills. We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations.
The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

Your privacy is important to us! The glass doors are tinted and reflective, plus curtains are available for more privacy. The main house is a little over 50m from the tiny home. 2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds treat it like you would a national park.
4. All waste must be bagged and taken off site with you.

We ask that you would treat our property as well or better than your own and expect our guests to be quiet, well-behaved, and environmentally aware of our sustainable and very quiet rural lifestyle.
Please note this is NOT a 'party' site. We are designated 'Land for Wildlife' and so most suited to those who seek peace and quiet.
Owing to the terrain, this property is not suitable for children, but adults are welcome to wander around the beautiful gardens.
Very sorry but this site is not suitable for those who have to make use of a wheelchair.

We have very friendly alpacas who love selfies, and Scottish babydoll lambs who love meeting people.
Set up your campervan or park your caravan on the edge of the flowing creek shaded with lush foliage overhanging from the trees. We only offer two sites for your peace and privacy.
There is access to a portaloo. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own shower, and drinking water. Please respect the environment and take everything with you when you leave. Please note this is just a farm portaloo not a glamping bathroom. Please make sure you clean it on departure.

5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.

The southern boundary is 2 klm of Tweed River. 3 permanent creeks meander through the property providing an abundance of wild life and camp sites to dream of.
The long stretch of Tweed River frontage provides for fishing (bass aplenty), and canoeing. The equine training and breeding section of the farm is to be visited by appointment most days, and for safety reasons is not commonly accessible.
Petting of small animals is an optional extra for children and beginners, can also arrange a riding lesson in one of the 2 enclosed arenas, as another optional extra cost.

We have converted a container into a tiny home overlooking our gardens. Relax and unwind by the outdoor fireplace by night while you enjoy the sunset views over the hills. We are close to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches, creeks and parks. It is only a short drive to Pottsville town. There is plenty to see and do in the Northern Rivers. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you would like some recommendations.
The container has been converted into a tiny livable space with sustainability and simplicity in mind. Features include a compost toilet, hot shower, air conditioner, toaster, stovetop kettle, fridge, daybed, queen size main bed (towels and linen are an added extra), small deck with an outdoor kitchen and bbq area.
You may like to meet our pet ducks or if visiting a farm is what you’re into we can recommend some great local farm tours within a 20 minute drive from here. Spa treatments, yoga, bushwalking and water activities are all close by. Unfortunately our goats are currently doing weed maintenance on a nearby property and may not be here for your booking.
If you’re looking to experience the rural setting with the convenience of beaches and shops being close by then this is the place for you. This is a unique area in Pottsville and we look forward to hosting.

Malabar Farm is a working Beef and Equine property situated in walking distance (600 metres to the Hotel) from the idyllic village of Uki. Steep in farming history, was originally a part of the logging district and later operated as a dairy up until early 2001. The farm nestles in to the foothills of Uki and the Twin Sister Mountains. The southern boundary is 2 klm of Tweed River. 3 permanent creeks meander through the property providing an abundance of wild life and camp sites to dream of.
The long stretch of Tweed River frontage provides for fishing (bass aplenty), and canoeing. The equine training and breeding section of the farm is to be visited by appointment most days, and for safety reasons is not commonly accessible.
Petting of small animals is an optional extra for children and beginners, can also arrange a riding lesson in one of the 2 enclosed arenas, as another optional extra cost.

Horseshoe Creek campsite at Malabar Farm was beautiful. Very serene, peaceful, private with a flat, grassy area to park campervans and spread out. William was a great host - met us when we arrived and showed us the camping area. Hot shower and flushing loo a short walk away was very convenient. Short drive or walk to nearby Uki - very sweet village with friendly locals, good cafes and bakery and interesting shops to browse. We also explored Murwillimbah town about 15 mins drive away.

Rowlands Creek was lovely, nice & spacious sites away from other campers, the creek was lovely. I do feel like the house overlooks the sites though so not fully private. Minimal communication from host & no firewood available for the cute element heated baths so we had to do some hunting which didn’t end up heating the bath very well anyway. The creek was where we ended up anyway, swimming & washing which was lovely and free flowing. Uki had lovely coffee but that’s about it, definitely worth venturing further for nice beaches like Pottsville & Kingscliff, they were lovely and ideal.

This was a great, quiet camping area with views of the surrounding mountain ranges. Hosts were lovely and offered some mangos/fingerlimes from their trees! Sites are all in view of one another but there is plenty of space and you won’t feel on top of people at all. Has Optus reception too which is a bonus.

We had the best time staying here despite changes in our plans due to the weather, the local stores and restaurants are great and despite only briefly being able to explore the railway trail in break of rain we had a blast. The cabin itself is set up amazingly and they have done an amazing job of planting different vegetation and making the property feel like a magical spot. 5/5 ⭐
My only feedback is the tubs for kitchen storage would be a little easier to use if they their contents were labelled on the tub but that's my only piece of constructive feedback for the place.

Great location for exploring the beautiful northern rivers. Clean toilets and quirky shower. Now fenced off from the cows which is an improvement- no more cow pats! Highly recommend.

This was a really beautiful property! Definitely recommend site 1 as it was beautiful and the most private. We could’ve spent all of our time down at the creek, it was lovely. Also definitely make sure you take a shower. Sounds nuts but the plants around while showering in warm water was 👌🏽
