2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds treat it like you would a national park.
4. All waste must be bagged and taken off site with you.

The village of Burringbar is only 30 minutes from Byron Bay and or the Gold Coast.

We have very friendly alpacas who love selfies, and Scottish babydoll lambs who love meeting people.
Set up your campervan or park your caravan on the edge of the flowing creek shaded with lush foliage overhanging from the trees. We only offer two sites for your peace and privacy.
There is access to a portaloo. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own shower, and drinking water. Please respect the environment and take everything with you when you leave. Please note this is just a farm portaloo not a glamping bathroom. Please make sure you clean it on departure.

5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.
Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations.
We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace.

Welcome to SLEEPY HOLLOW MANOR ESTATE, A family farm Acting under the state government agricultural tourism reform allowing primary producers and livestock farms such as us on RU2 property to have visitors.
As part of this we have to follow some simple protocol! Unfortunately, we have had some issues with local council which now monitor our movements closely and we ask that you follow these simple rules extremely closely failure to do may cause us to reject your booking and may incur penalties to both of us as the landholders and also the camper.
1. STRICTLY No Caravans, RV's, Tents or Any Camping site is to be set up within 50 meters of the creek.
2. No more that 20 people camping on the property at one time.
3. Zero impact to the land and surrounds treat it like you would a national park.
4. All waste must be bagged and taken off site with you.

Great location for camping and enjoying nature. Loads of birdlife and if you are lucky enough, you might get a glimpse of a platypus in the creek or Koalas as we have a Koala corridor on our property & also Wallabies.
The Northern Rivers Rail Trail is nearby and is great for walking and bike riding.
Wooyung and Pottsville Beaches are less than 15 minute's drive.
The townships of Murwillumbah and Brunswick Heads are also only 15 minute's drive away.
The village of Burringbar is only 30 minutes from Byron Bay and or the Gold Coast.
In the village itself there are options for food, drink and entertainment, with a General store, Post office, Thai restaurant, Natural Wine Shop, Coffee Shops, Pharmacy, Butcher, Cheese factory, and Sports Club .
And only 4 kilometres away in the nearby village of Mooball, there is the famous Moo moo Roadhouse for meals, coffee and fuel, and the also historic Victory Hotel for further food and drink options.
Base yourself on this lovely property and explore the beautiful Northern Rivers Region and all it has to offer.

Explore the meandering creek day or night to spot turtles, crayfish, echidnas, azure kingfishers, glow worms and if your lucky, and early enough, a platypus. There are also a few spots along the creek perfect for a cooling dip in the warmer months.
As the sun sets, stoke up a warming campfire (fire bans may apply) to enjoy some afternoon drinks and snacks around, while the kids enjoy exploring or building a bush cubby. When the light fades enjoy the starry night sky and being lulled to sleep by the babbling creek.

We have very friendly alpacas who love selfies, and Scottish babydoll lambs who love meeting people.
Set up your campervan or park your caravan on the edge of the flowing creek shaded with lush foliage overhanging from the trees. We only offer two sites for your peace and privacy.
There is access to a portaloo. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own shower, and drinking water. Please respect the environment and take everything with you when you leave. Please note this is just a farm portaloo not a glamping bathroom. Please make sure you clean it on departure.

The property is just
5km from the beautiful village of Uki. Uki is a place where community spirit hums. Village markets every Saturday selling local foods and crafts. The Old buttery offers ‘the Uki Buttery Bazaar Market’ on the 3rd Sunday of every month.
Don’t forget to pop into the Uki Trading Post (Bastion Lane) for the Best coffee in Australia. The Mt Warning Hotel situated in Uki Village also offers all meals as takeaways and a complementary curtesy bus running from Friday 5PM through to Sunday. Stock up on supplies at the village General Store.
Pet welcome on leash and under control. Campfires are permitted within local regulations.
We do have a bathtub’s on four sites. Campers should leave no trace.

Malabar Farm is a working Beef and Equine property situated in walking distance (600 metres to the Hotel) from the idyllic village of Uki. We loved staying at Grant's place. It's only 3 minutes drive to the centre of Mullumbimby but it's out in the country.
Occasionally we heard some distant traffic noise but it was rare.
We were the only people camping at the place when we were there but the sites are quite spacious and flat.

We loved, loved, loved our weekend here! Plenty of space to set up well away from the one other campsite. We appreciated that the lawn was well-mown. It was very easy to slip into relax mode sitting outside soaking up the views of the creek and the grand old trees. Unfortunately, there wasn't quite enough water in the creek for swimming on this occasion. The stars at night were spectacular. Fantastic location across the road from the Rail Trail. We'd definitely stay here again.

Horseshoe Creek campsite at Malabar Farm was beautiful. Very serene, peaceful, private with a flat, grassy area to park campervans and spread out. William was a great host - met us when we arrived and showed us the camping area. Hot shower and flushing loo a short walk away was very convenient. Short drive or walk to nearby Uki - very sweet village with friendly locals, good cafes and bakery and interesting shops to browse. We also explored Murwillimbah town about 15 mins drive away.

Rowlands Creek was lovely, nice & spacious sites away from other campers, the creek was lovely. I do feel like the house overlooks the sites though so not fully private. Minimal communication from host & no firewood available for the cute element heated baths so we had to do some hunting which didn’t end up heating the bath very well anyway. The creek was where we ended up anyway, swimming & washing which was lovely and free flowing. Uki had lovely coffee but that’s about it, definitely worth venturing further for nice beaches like Pottsville & Kingscliff, they were lovely and ideal.

We had the best time staying here despite changes in our plans due to the weather, the local stores and restaurants are great and despite only briefly being able to explore the railway trail in break of rain we had a blast. The cabin itself is set up amazingly and they have done an amazing job of planting different vegetation and making the property feel like a magical spot. 5/5 ⭐
My only feedback is the tubs for kitchen storage would be a little easier to use if they their contents were labelled on the tub but that's my only piece of constructive feedback for the place.

Excellent location! We originally booked one night as a late arrival stopover but decided to extend and use as a base to explore the Tweed and Byron areas. The ideal spot for a base or a one night pull in, very close to beaches without squeezing in to a van park. Was suitable for our large set up too! Hosts are friendly and communication excellent.

We had a great night at Riverbend. Its a private site with plenty of choices to set up camp. The creek was beautiful, not too cold. You do jear some road noise but ots nothing major. Such a great place to relax and unwind.
