Nested in the Coffs Harbour hinterland is this stunning 250 acre property, offering both powered and unpowered site options and great facilties over 2 campsites. Wayper Creek flows though the property, and there are manicured lawns, a large toilet and shower block with hot showers, a caravan dump point, a large BBQ shelter, firepit, and lots of lovely spots to enjoy the plethora of wildlife. Guests staying with us are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campers can launch a boat from the property to enjoy all the river has to offer. You can drive the boat to the Ulmarra Hotel nearby, they have a jetty where you can park and enjoy a feed and a drink. You also can take the Ulmarra Ferry and Drive to the Ulmarra Hotel for dinner or lunch. You can access the property via road from Grafton or via Ferry from Lawrence and Maclean. We are located just 11kms from Grafton should you need any supplies. Please note, caravans are not permitted on the Ferry but camper trailers are okay. Our 40 acre property is home to four quiet, secure, exclusive river front sites on the mighty Clarence River. Boating, fishing and crabbing literally at your doorstep. And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean. To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

IMPORTANT: Please read this and our site descriptions/rules before booking! N.B. We do not accept children under 8 years of age. Our check-in period is 2 PM to 5.30 PM. We also require guests to provide us with an ETA, preferably at the time of booking and no later than 24 hours prior to arrival. We expect you to arrive within 30 minutes of the time you specify. If you are unable to comply with these conditions, then you should not book with us. We do not have staff available to deal with early, late or unannounced arrivals. Our campsite facilities are basic and best suited to self-contained campers. We DO NOT provide general toilet or ablution facilities. However, we do have portable toilet and shower units available for hire (see under Extras). We are a 55 hectare alpaca & llama stud & sugar cane farm, just off the Pacific Hwy, on Harwood Island, in the Clarence River. Our extensive and carefully-maintained pastures offer a wide selection of peaceful, private campsites. There are also numerous small stands of natural vegetation providing shade and shelter. In close proximity to us are shopping centres, surfing beaches and areas of outstanding natural beauty. We operate as a cottage industry, processing alpaca fleece & manufacturing products from it. We regularly conduct tours & maintain a small farm shop. We also offer a full range of home-cooked meals. NOTE: If you book Extras or Meals you choice of campsites will be limited.

Frog Hollow Rainforest Camping

Frog Hollow on Bobo River Camp is located on the banks of the Bobo River, surrounded by rainforest. The property is listed with NSW Government as private biodiversity conservation area because of its flora and fauna. The camping site is private and just a short walk to the river with a causway, swimming hole and cascades. It's made up of four camping bays and parking areas. Two bays suitable for car base camping with space for tent or swag, one bay suitable for small caravan or camper trailer. Great base camp to explore the Mountain area. On one of the sites there is a timber shelter where a fire can be made out of the rain. Short walk to the weir and swimming area.

Grafton Southgate on the Clarence

The large and grassy campsites are located on the banks of the Clarence River where you can enjoy fishing, swimming, water skiing and jet skiing. Guests staying with us are required to be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campers can launch a boat from the property to enjoy all the river has to offer. You can drive the boat to the Ulmarra Hotel nearby, they have a jetty where you can park and enjoy a feed and a drink. You also can take the Ulmarra Ferry and Drive to the Ulmarra Hotel for dinner or lunch. You can access the property via road from Grafton or via Ferry from Lawrence and Maclean. We are located just 11kms from Grafton should you need any supplies. Please note, caravans are not permitted on the Ferry but camper trailers are okay. We farm Hay on the property and do have some friendly cattle around who may wander past to say hello. Campfires are permitted outside of fire restrictions. Sorry, no pets.

Absolutely gorgeous property, can’t fault the beauty of this place and how well maintained it is! It was extremely busy though, wouldn't recommend for people looking for privacy or travelling with reactive dogs (we visited in Christmas holidays so probably less busy out of peak seasons). It only bothered us because due to having 2 cars we paid specifically for 2 separate sites. As our setup doesn’t take up much space we thought this would be perfect for us as the extra space would give us a bit of space away from other campers but due to it being so busy we had other campers park and camp on the space around us late at night almost parking us in and we had barely enough room to get out the next day. This just left us feeling as though we paid extra for something we didn’t get. We do prefer hipcamping over holiday parks due to normally having more space. It is very dog friendly though and most other campers were respectful and nice! The waterfall walk isn’t suitable for people with small kids or dogs. Only one person from our group made it there due to it being a tricky walk but they said it was incredible. Despite this, there is a beautiful creek with some swimming holes along the way to still enjoy if you can’t make it to the waterfalls and is still worth it. There is an awesome volleyball area and full amenities with hot water which was clean and well maintained and even a laundry! Would be perfect for those used to holiday parks just looking for a different experience!
