Come and camp in this quiet, peaceful location. Campers will be able to enjoy state forest access to explore wildlife or sit back, relax and take in the extensive views. There are also bush walks for guests to enjoy. There are few facilities here, tank water and a sawdust composting toilet, picnic table and small contained fire pit also... campers need to be self sufficient with optional own toilet/shower facilities and leave no trace. The camp site has had an upgrade beautification and facility program that is fully available. The property is in close proximity to the ocean and the city, just a 10 minute drive too the Coffs Harbour CBD. You're welcome to bring your pet, but they must be supervised and kept under control. Campfire are permitted in the provided fire area. Please note that some sites require 4WD access and are a steep climb (see photos). Caravan access is limited to small to medium length only. Large vans require assistance so not recommended for this site.

It is great for canoeing or bushwalking and our bird life is spectacular. No phone or internet since 3G was removed. Sorry! Dog friendly - with limitations. Flushing disabled toilet available. Good access for 2WD. Campfires permitted in a designated area and firewood available for a donation to cut it all. CRITICAL! As we are farmers we need to know your ETA. HIDING IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYWHERE! Pure. Unadulterated. WILD. 104 very private acres, securely sandwiched between a National Park Nature Reserve and State Forest. On a dead end road. No agriculture or farms upstream, only one other like-minded property owner. Secluded, but hiding smack bang in the middle of everywhere! From vertiginous sandstone cliffs on which epipetrics cling tight, right through to palm-filled rainforests, and with two quite different creek systems (including a monster waterfall), you'll be spoiled for things to do and places to explore - without even leaving the property! HISTORY This land is Gumbaynggirr land. Please be particularly mindful of our First Nation's long presence on this land. In the 1800's, white men came seeking Red Cedar, closely followed by settlers having a go at dairying; though logging has remained this area's mainstay. This special property, despite last being selectively logged about 50 years ago, hosts many huge old-growth trees remaining steadfast for your discovery and wonder. And many more are continuing to grow out too. About 35 years ago about nine of this property's eastern-most 104 acres became part of a far larger nashi pear orchard which filled much of the flats of this top end of the valley that you see today. Ultimately they failed to set good commercial fruit, and the rootstocks took over. You can see remnant rows of these trees just south of the property, from along the road. (Beware though - they have spikes that could puncture Caterpillar tracks!) MORE RECENTLY extensive lantana control efforts have been undertaken as we now move into revegetating with native species and implementing a permaculture plan. Today the property is registered with Land For Wildlife and hosts a very wide mix of native vegetation communities. ACTIVITIES Bird watch. Climb. Abseil. Photograph wildflowers. Paint. Swim. Kentucky is a 400 acre property that was once a dairy, and is now devoted to raising horses and beef cattle. there is around three km of creek frontage and the land ranges from lush creek flats to rugged sandstone ridges. there are several dams and a billabong which are frequented by birds, including Jabiru storks. Wedgetail Eagles hunt overhead. Pretty faced wallabies are endemic and Koalas may sometimes be seen. Our property backs on to the Hogarth Range, where there are numerous orchards. We hope to convert the old dairy bails to a camp kitchen soon, but currently it can be used as shelter if required. Visitors need to be self contained at this stage. Pets are welcome if kept under control.

The t2 Winegrove campsites are located along 1.2km overlooking the pristine Clarence river exclusively spaced @ 500m apart. P2 and P3 also have great views and are sheltered and private. Note: Fig Tree Lookout P2 is out of flood levels and can be accessed by high clearance 2WD, however we do recommend having 4WD just in case during wet conditions. Boulder Bay P3, which has ONLY 4WD access, can flood during a major flood in the Clarence river, however you can park/camp higher up when wet. [Note: Hacketts Haven is our new property, located near Copmanhurst which boasts your own exclusive panoramic view overlooking the Clarence River. The site is approximately 13-14 metres clear/elevated from the river.] Obedient pets permitted and that they are on a lead or under control with livestock or cattle dogs around. Morinokoe is a 5 acre 'one planet' lifestyle vision, set in the peaceful, secure, rural residential community of Woombah, bordering the Bundjalung National Park and just 5 minutes drive from famous 'Woody Head' camp ground and Iluka's surf beaches. For paddling and fishing, it's a few hundred metres from a public jetty to the Clarence River and just a few minutes drive to the Esk river (a unique waterway that tracks through the national park). The land itself is 2/3 natural forest, with fruit trees and permaculture inspired garden design and cleared areas with space for parking, playing and camping. The property includes two separate bases for holiday stays: 1) Retro Caravan (morinokoe-ko) The (two room) caravan is basic, but newly renovated with a covered roof allowing for a large outdoor patio area, covered back deck, camp toilet. basic kitchen equipment (cooking on your campfire). There is one power outlet supplied to the caravan, but lighting is provided by solar lights around the site. Access to power is provided at the main house. There's access to a toilet, shower (cold water) and drinking water supply. There is a Jamie Oliver grill for cooking at the table, and a fire pit on hand as well. There are basic cooking implements, cutlery and crockery as well as a large green water tank for washing and drinking. Morinokoe is a place of peace and privacy that provides a balance between convenience, security (friendly neighbourhood) and accessibility and the peace and quiet of being deep in the forest (where you can walk or ride your bike straight into the national park). Shark Creek Retreat is an ongoing conservation project, where I call myself the caretaker of these beautiful wetlands. I have dedicated 77 acres of it as a wildlife sanctuary, it is a member of the Wildlife Land Trust and has joined the Land for Wildlife environmental community. To date there is a property bird list worthy of a National Park for all you keen birders out there and I have been busy regenerating previously cleared land from farming and the 2019 bush fire with native plants local to this area in the 100's. My aim is to surround most of the property in wildlife friendly fencing, regenerate a flora and fauna corridor as a wildlife safety zone from the wetlands to the road and to create a tranquil little space for nature appreciative people to stop and a take a rest. Up and coming projects will be to erect a shower shed, composting toilet and a tree tent for visitors but for now campers will need to be self sufficient. All the materials I use have been recycled and mostly salvaged from the local tip. If camping out in a conservation area appeals to you then head out to Shark Creek Retreat, stay for a night or stay for a week 💚🌳

Harper Farms is a fourth generation, family owned cattle property out of the small township of Cangai; just 50 minutes west of Grafton. Located along the Mann River, just one kilometre off the Gwydir Highway, campers will find easy access to our riverfront site. The property is bordered by the Dandahra Creek and the Mann River, and boasts a variety of native bird and wildlife; peacocks, platypus, ducks and the occasional pelican to name a few. The Mann River is open to fishing November - July; and is a local favourite as a kayaking, canoeing, paddle boarding and swimming destination. Beef cattle and stock horses have been run continuously on the property since the early 1900s, and our friendly horses and cows will often pay a visit to the campsite. Along with our working dogs, we also run a small breeding kennel of Golden Retrievers and Border Collies. Dogs are always welcome on the farm, and we simply ask that camp visitors keep them under their control during their stay. A small shop with basic amenities (groceries, camp supplies, fishing bait, fuel) is located at Jackadgery; a 15 minutes drive east on the Gwydir Highway. To the west of Harper Farms lies the Gibraltar Range which hosts Washpool National Park with walking trails, waterfalls, rainforest and swimming areas. Away from the city lights, the Cangai area offers exceptional stargazing and is popular with keen astronomers and photographers. Our property currently hosts one large campsite; ideal for family and large group gatherings. Booking the site includes complete privacy for your group whether large or small. Just recently we have added two gorgeous piglets to our family who love to hang out with us and the chickens. Come and help us feed every afternoon. .

Our property is nestled between state forests and nature reserves, near the village of Nymboida which is approx. 44km southwest of Grafton. You will find a variety of bird life and by night our marsupials. Bandicoots, possums and if you have a keen eye, owls. With 1.5km of creek frontage, you can explore away, fish in the waterhole for freshwater catfish or go for a walk along one of the valleys. Situated on 650 acres in hill country. You will certainly find something for your relaxing getaway.Pitch your tent in a variety of places, we have two areas available that offer complete privacy from other campers. Mill Flat (the location of the steam mill that was built when the property was a logging property) is located on around 3 acres of mostly flat grass land with direct access to our creek. Nearby, Fruit Orchard Hill is the location of the original home before the fires, the outlook from here is of the sheer mountain range of the neighbouring National Park. This camping area is elevated.Our third site is not so private but is the most central and conveniently located for exploring the creek and gaining access with big campervans. If staying longer you can go for a white water kayak in the Nymboida River only 15 min away or head the other way to discover endless National Parks that stretch from the property to Dorrigo.We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower and water. You must have your own amenities.Well behaved dogs are most welcome to join you. Although we are pet friendly, please be aware and courteous to other campers. If your pet needs to be tied up please do so.We recommend 4WDs to access the campsite. Some places can be accessed by 2WD and walk to campsite. Caravan drivers need to be competent for hilly terrain and tight access, some roads are cut into steep ground and have very little give. However Site 1 is easy access for caravans. If unsure about your vehicle please message us.

You will come here to enjoy the beauty and tranquility of `Black Mountain'. `Black Mountain’ is on Gumbainggir country. It is a registered conservation property bordering Nymboida River and Nymboi-Binderay National Park. Alastair and I have shared the property for more than 25 years and consider ourselves custodians of this precious place. Visitors enjoy: the pristine river; walking tracks through diverse terrain; starry night skies and campfires. Previous guests recommend staying at least two nights to soak up the atmosphere and explore the area. Choose from the 'Ant Shack' or four adjacent campsites with easy access and views to the Nymboida River. Shared facilities include a hot shower and composting toilets. You can walk, swim and kayak, explore the area or just relax for days. We can’t accommodate domestic animals or allow fishing, not even catch and release because we protect our wildlife and the endangered Eastern Cod. Black Mountain is remote but just 60 kilometres from Grafton or Coffs (via back way). 2WD access to our house is from Nymboida only. 4WD/AWD from Lowanna or Glenreagh and 4WD/AWD down to the river/campsite area - Not suitable for caravans. All proceeds from Airbnb and Hipcamp are invested in the continuing conservation of Black Mountain.
