A beautiful stroll to the nearby river is a wonderful experience as you explore, swim, canoe, Kayak or float down the river (1.2 klm) in the beauty of nature around you. You can even throw a line in and you might catch a fish. There is a lovely covered platform you can sit on as you reflect. If you are quiet enough you might see a platypus or two or catch a fish.

There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's.
There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season.
A great place to relax, spend family quality time together, uninterrupted by technology and you relive the Shalom-peace of nature, making memories that you will keep for a lifetime.
The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened.
Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by.
The farm does have orchards. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know.
The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer.
Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed.
We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. There are celebrities that live in Federal so you may bump into one.

Coorabell creek farmstay is 30acres of hilly country made up of a mixture of forests, gullys, creeks and horse paddocks.
the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats.
there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs..
Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches.
Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches.
National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request.
other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices.

It consists of a 1964 original vintage caravan, with an open-plan living/dining area, a gorgeous industrial-style bathroom, with a glass ceiling for star gazing & an outdoor fire-pit.
The open air living allows guests to feel 100% connected to the natural environment, while at the same time having access to reliable, fast internet along with the comforts of a hot shower, flush loo etc. It is an ideal way to capture the restored feeling from remote camping, without the hassle of taking all your camping gear.
Sleeping arrangements: We have a custom-made inner spring mattress that is an unusual size due to the vintage age of the vintage caravan & therefore the size, is in between a King-single & double size width & a queen-size length (which may or may not be big enough for 2 people depending on your sleeping expectations). The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other side of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children.
All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space.
The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse
We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. Our hinterland hideaway, Booyong Farm, is nestled in the beautiful hills of Clunes. With a mix of natural bush and around 600 grand old macadamia trees, it’s a private off-grid escape that still keeps you close to everything. Clunes Store and Cellars is just 5 minutes down the road and is a bit of a local gem, with great coffee, food, groceries, fresh fruit and veg, alcohol, drinks, and even a post office. You’re also only 15 minutes to Bangalow, 20 minutes to Lismore and around 30 minutes to Byron Bay.
Alongside our old horses Sunny and Himi, our chooks, our goats, the cows and our dogs Bowie and Naboo, there’s plenty of wildlife that calls this place home. It’s not uncommon to spot wallabies, echidnas, platypus, eagles and lots of birdlife if you take the time to slow down and look around.
You can choose from two different sites across the property. Site 1 sits up on the main farm plateau with easier access, while Site 2 down by the creek is a bit more tucked away and only suited to those with a 4WD. Each spot feels private in its own way and all of them catch the beautiful sunsets we get out here.
The spring-fed creek runs year round and is a lovely place to cool off after a wander, whether that’s exploring the property itself or heading out to one of the many incredible spots nearby. Just keep in mind that water levels can change depending on recent rain, as Mother Nature tends to do her own thing.
There’s plenty to explore in the area if you feel like heading out, from long lunches and good food to horse riding or a day at the beach. Or you can just stay put, slow down and enjoy the quiet. It really depends what kind of stay you’re after.

Our peaceful macadamia farm sits in the Eltham Valley along Pearces Creek. We are located 18 mins from Ballina and 7 mins from Alstonville & Clunes , The Clunes Village cafe is not to be missed & of course the Iconic Eltham pub is only 4 mins away by car. Our camp site is perched on the creek edge with little rock pools and running fresh water suitable for a refreshing swim. A large fire pit area along the creek edge leaves you warm on those cooler nights . Please add the extra firewood bundle and we will have it prepared before your arrival.
Pitch your tent or drive your 4WD right up to our running creek that features lovely swimming holes, rock pools and large shady trees. This area is great to watch the sunset over the macadamia orchard or sit by the campfire at night. This campsite is set in a very private location on our 26 acre property.
You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. There is access to a picnic table for meals.
We recommend 4WDs to access this campsite, and caravans and camper trailers are ok. If you're unsure about your vehicle please message us.
Dogs are welcome and love the open space.

A beautiful stroll to the nearby river is a wonderful experience as you explore, swim, canoe, Kayak or float down the river (1.2 klm) in the beauty of nature around you. You can even throw a line in and you might catch a fish. There is a lovely covered platform you can sit on as you reflect. If you are quiet enough you might see a platypus or two or catch a fish.

There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's.
There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. You can hear the night birds and owls. If you are lucky you will see fire fly in the right season.
A great place to relax, spend family quality time together, uninterrupted by technology and you relive the Shalom-peace of nature, making memories that you will keep for a lifetime.
The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened.
Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by.
The farm does have orchards. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know.
The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer.
Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed.
We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. There are celebrities that live in Federal so you may bump into one.

the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats.
there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs..
Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches.
Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches.
National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request.

It consists of a 1964 original vintage caravan, with an open-plan living/dining area, a gorgeous industrial-style bathroom, with a glass ceiling for star gazing & an outdoor fire-pit.
The open air living allows guests to feel 100% connected to the natural environment, while at the same time having access to reliable, fast internet along with the comforts of a hot shower, flush loo etc. It is an ideal way to capture the restored feeling from remote camping, without the hassle of taking all your camping gear.
Sleeping arrangements: We have a custom-made inner spring mattress that is an unusual size due to the vintage age of the vintage caravan & therefore the size, is in between a King-single & double size width & a queen-size length (which may or may not be big enough for 2 people depending on your sleeping expectations). The actual measurements are: 1.13M wide & 2M long. There is also a separate king single-size bed, on the other side of the caravan, suitable for another adult, a child or two small children.
All linen and bath towels etc are provided. The caravan is cosy, with a TV, stereo, fridge, sink, wardrobe & storage space.
The property is not far from the beautiful bathhouses of Mullumbimby too ie Kiva Spa & Banya bathhouse
We are a pet-friendly property. If you wish to bring your friendly pet, they are welcome, but we charge a fee of $25 . Please select that you have a pet when making your booking. Our hinterland hideaway, Booyong Farm, is nestled in the beautiful hills of Clunes. With a mix of natural bush and around 600 grand old macadamia trees, it’s a private off-grid escape that still keeps you close to everything. Clunes Store and Cellars is just 5 minutes down the road and is a bit of a local gem, with great coffee, food, groceries, fresh fruit and veg, alcohol, drinks, and even a post office. You’re also only 15 minutes to Bangalow, 20 minutes to Lismore and around 30 minutes to Byron Bay.
Alongside our old horses Sunny and Himi, our chooks, our goats, the cows and our dogs Bowie and Naboo, there’s plenty of wildlife that calls this place home. It’s not uncommon to spot wallabies, echidnas, platypus, eagles and lots of birdlife if you take the time to slow down and look around.
You can choose from two different sites across the property. Site 1 sits up on the main farm plateau with easier access, while Site 2 down by the creek is a bit more tucked away and only suited to those with a 4WD. Each spot feels private in its own way and all of them catch the beautiful sunsets we get out here.
The spring-fed creek runs year round and is a lovely place to cool off after a wander, whether that’s exploring the property itself or heading out to one of the many incredible spots nearby. Just keep in mind that water levels can change depending on recent rain, as Mother Nature tends to do her own thing.
There’s plenty to explore in the area if you feel like heading out, from long lunches and good food to horse riding or a day at the beach. Or you can just stay put, slow down and enjoy the quiet. It really depends what kind of stay you’re after.

Access: 2WD in normal dry conditions. After heavy rain, AWD/4WD is recommended. Park and walk a short path to tent sites. The Orchard Retreat Van has direct vehicle access.

Our peaceful macadamia farm sits in the Eltham Valley along Pearces Creek. We are located 18 mins from Ballina and 7 mins from Alstonville & Clunes , The Clunes Village cafe is not to be missed & of course the Iconic Eltham pub is only 4 mins away by car. The pub can also be accessed by a courtesy bus from our doorstep ( please reconfirm this with the Pub directly - subject to availability ) . Follow us on Instagram @creek.edge.camping
Our camp site is perched on the creek edge with little rock pools and running fresh water suitable for a refreshing swim. A large fire pit area along the creek edge leaves you warm on those cooler nights . Please add the extra firewood bundle and we will have it prepared before your arrival.
Pitch your tent or drive your 4WD right up to our running creek that features lovely swimming holes, rock pools and large shady trees. This area is great to watch the sunset over the macadamia orchard or sit by the campfire at night. This campsite is set in a very private location on our 26 acre property.
You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. There is access to a picnic table for meals.
We recommend 4WDs to access this campsite, and caravans and camper trailers are ok. If you're unsure about your vehicle please message us.
Dogs are welcome and love the open space.

The camping was fantastic. Such a beautiful site. Lush green grass, gorgeous creek, firepit. Highly recommend! We visited for a gig at the Eltham Hotel, courtesy bus came picked us up and dropped us back afterwards. A wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed camping out overnight at The Haven. Nice flat grassed area next to the creek to park up our camper and the teenagers to set up swags under the stars. Creek area is shady and perfect to cool off and fun for the kids/dog to explore. Grant was very welcoming and great communication. Lovely spot close enough to town for any extra supplies and we enjoyed exploring Brunswick Heads during the day.

It was a wonderful experience! Hosts Ina and Lance were very helpful and provided a super detailed guidance how to reach our tent spot which was actually on top of the hill. We were impressed by pretty clean toilet with a hot (!) shower and a silo with table, chairs, BBQ pit, hammock and a drinking water tap even with filters.
It was a wonderful stay, definitely recommended.
P.S. there is a macadamia plantation there and we've bought the best raw macadamia I've ever tried from Lance.

Great camp site on nice grassy level ground. Close to the creek and great size fire pit to have a nice camp fire. My daughter loved the creek and managed to see turtles, fish, and an eel. The running creek was a nice back drop and sound to wake up to. Plenty to do for a couple of nights get away. I had Telstra and vodaphone service. We used a Starlink mini to stream some movies at night which had great coverage. We stayed in camp site A which was pretty nice to sum it up. Having a late check out was great as we could take our time packing up. I would go back again for sure and recommend to stay here.

Beautiful property with lovely views. We spent Easter long weekend at Site 3 water tank hill campsite and it didn’t disappoint. Freshly slashed huge paddock with plenty of room for doggies to run around. It was really peaceful and relaxing and there is so much room between sites. Ali and Sean were very welcoming and very helpful. Only hiccup we had, was finding somewhere flat for our van, as the paddock was on a bit of a slope, BUT OUR BAD, we had forgotten the levellers. So we were on a bit of a lean but note to self, ‘DONT FORGET YOUR LEVELLERS!’ and we managed. Rockhaven Hip camp is close to everything, beautiful Bangalow and The Eltham pub and Byron Bay is not too far, so if you would like to base yourself somewhere for an explore around this beautiful region, it is a perfect spot. We will visit again for sure.
