Helen and Steve’s spot of the world is a little paradise. We saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed a very peaceful stay. The township of St Albans is charming and welcoming, I highly recommend a trip to the pub.

Beautiful campsite with plenty of shaded areas. A lovely forest at the back of the property to wander around in. Also the location of the Bunyip gives easy access to the national parks in the area. Lisa is easy going and very helpful. The amenities are in my view to rustic. Definitely worth staying a few nights.

Weekend Trip to Jila Camp Grounds

Camping at Jila Campgrounds was an experience. The mountain-perched site with river frontage is perfect, lovely for kayaking or just unwinding by the water. They provide toilets and showers, which makes things comfortable. The campground feels very safe, even for solo campers, and it’s pet-friendly so Kyoto was happy exploring. One great thing: there’s no reception or mobile signal, which is ideal if you want to disconnect. Just make sure you save all your important notes offline before you arrive. The owner was super helpful. When our car broke down, he helped us get it working again. That kind of support made a big difference. A word of caution: during a short but heavy rain with strong wind, a nearby car was struck by a falling tree. It’s wise to camp a little distance from large trees if the weather turns. Overall, I really like this place: mountain views, riverside calm, and a helpful owner. It’s about an hour from us, and we’d definitely go back.

This is the 3rd time our group of 20 have stayed here. Just as amazing as the last times. It's so relaxing and spacious for a large group. The facilities great and awesome to explore the local area. This time it was exploring near by Bilpin with great markets and cider. Megan and her husband are fantastic hosts. We are already looking forward to our next stay

Loved the location, the river was beautiful and really enjoyed the facilities. I personally think the drive in with a trailer on the back is a 4wd road, not just because it's steep and bumpy but my 2wd was too low. Once in we had a fantastic time and appreciated being allowed to use the neighbours drive to leave from. Thanks for having us!

Such a great spot for a weekend camp. The facilities are so clean and just what you need. The farm is beautiful with some great tent spots in between the trees. We saw a wombat in the wild for the first time! Highly recommend.

Matt and Jenna are great hosts and we enjoyed our weekend at Wattle Valley Farm. The site was close to full, however many areas are secluded and offer a more isolated experience if desired.

Beautiful area to visit and a wide variety of camp sites available from grass paddocks to more hidden bushier areas. There was probably 8-10 camping groups when we visited and we all had plenty of space. The facilities were great and they even have a family shower room which was convenient for wrangling a small child at shower time. Wood can be purchased on site too. The bird life was fantastic and there is a river wrapping the property. Hosts were very friendly. We will come back for a stay.

Spent 2 nights. Very clean amenities. Grassy area was outstandingly well kept, which made it great to camp on with a dog. Highly recommend and would definitely return there again

A beautiful camping area. Plenty of shade and a lovely forest to wonder through. Camp fires are permitted which makes the camping at Bunyip even more authentic. Lisa is great to get along with and very helpful. The only constructive criticism I can give is that the amenities are a little to rustic. But if you are self contained in this regard, it's the perfect camp to chill for a while.

Little river is a large campsite set up for groups , it has a large undercover area , with basic cabins . There are flushing toilets and hot showers, the use of our commercial kitchen is included . Little River is a private venue so you get the site to your group only. Imagine waking up to the sound of the birds busily going about their day , or spotting many of the wildlife around. Little river is surrounded by pristine bush land with spectacular views of the escarpment . It suits groups for gathering ,parties , weddings , family birthdays or friends get together. There is ample space to bring your own camper or tent , it does have basic cabins available for use . Little River is very private and is bounded by Webbs Creek, which is a tidal water way and great for a swim , bring a kayak or blow up floats and enjoy the serenity. There is space to play music into the evening must cease at midnight. There are beautiful mowed fields for games . We do offer packages including meals for weddings and parties price on application. Little River suits groups of 30 or more the basic pricing is for the minimum of 30. Kitchen is set up with all the basics for cooking , with a large walk in cool room,stove top , oven , BBQ microwave ,however there are no plates cups or cutlery provided please BYO. You will have exclusive use of the outdoor bathroom, including an amazing outdoor bath overlooking the river. The camping spot and outdoor bathroom are a good distance from the cabin, separated by bush and gardens. The available area is mostly flat, suitable for tents, camper trailer, or vans. On the site you can have multiple tents/vans to fit your group up to 8 people. Our property is just 30mins from Windsor, in the beautiful Hawkesbury Region. You'll arrive via 2.5km of winding dirt road, suitable for 2wd, subject to potholes after heavy rain. The road may not be suitable for larger vans due to a few tight corners. Camping Rules: Do not light a fire without approval from owners. Approval for a fire is dependent on weather, conditions, and restrictions. Fires must be kept small. No chainsaws or generators.
