Make sure to pop over to Wyangala Dam (14 min) for a fish or take part in some watersports. Or even head down the road to Elliotts Lookout over the Dam for some incredible views! We can even provide under cover boat storage if you want to bring your boat with you for some fun on the lake!
In spring, enjoy the beautiful blossoming fruit trees. You can even visit Sakura Matsuri, the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival in Cowra late September! Year round, enjoy the tranquillity and landscapes of the Japanese Gardens and Cultural Centre in Cowra (14 min). The gardens act as a monument of peace and reconciliation between two countries after the largest Prisoner Of War breakout in modern military history. Cowra's rich history can be explored at the Cowra POW Campsite and various other historical sites around town.
Make sure to end your night around a great campfire! You can have campfires in your own contained fire pits and sometimes we have complimentary firewood in a wood shed close by. Roast some marshmallows and take in the starry night sky.
Property has a gorgeous stand-alone bathroom building with 2 toilets, a hot water shower and sink. Please keep this clean and tidy. There are cleaning products under the sink as we cannot always be there to keep it clean. There is also an undercover table and basic camp kitchen set up for use in the shearing shed.
Please take all rubbish with you.
Pick a camp site in the middle aisle around the sheds, bathroom block and driveway OR in any open paddock (granite pad sites on hill are their own sites).
Note the ground off the driveway and parking pads can get very wet and boggy so to avoid getting bogged please try to stick to the driveway as much as possible.

REVELSTONE MOUNTAIN CAMPS offers camping with fantastic views. Plenty of space to go for a scenic hike, lots of wildlife including kangaroos, rabbits and foxes. There are 14 designated camping areas to set up your camp, or why not try the Revelstone TEPEE TENT adventure, or maybe the TWIN HAMMOCK camp. please do not cut down or use any standing trees even if they look dead as they are a mountain feature.

Rosnay is a pioneering organic farm in the Central West.
The Statham family moved to Rosnay in 1996 and began renovating the run down farm using organic and biodynamic methods. They planted the first vines in 1997, and olives in 1999, as well as thousands of native trees, all planted and grown without any chemicals.
The exclusive camping area is on the banks of a old farm dam in the middle of the olive grove. There are sheep and alpacas, and plenty of birds and kangaroos living there too.

We are approximately 228.9km via Great Western Highway/A32 from Sydney CBD. It is part of the village known as Newbridge which is 3km from the property. It is an easy 30km drive to Bathurst and 50km to Orange with only 15km away from Blayney. La Pinata is also a short drive to Milthorpe and Carcoar - all lovely award winning quaint towns worth visiting where you can take in the history and enjoy great food and wine.
A great country escape destination! Even the Newbridge Train Station remains treasured by residents and fondly remembered as the stopover for Queen Elizabeth II during her 1954 royal visit!
Newbridge is fortunate to have a local pub, known as the Gladestone Hotel. A a restaurant serving modern cuisine and live music most Sunday afternoons (need to check with Pub for confirmation of entertainment 02 6368 1004). This is approximately 2.7kms from La Pinata!
The Property
La Pinata is circa 161 Ha (400 acres) in size. Altitude of approx 900m.
Over half of the land is clear, the land is mostly undulating with some steeper areas. There are 7 paddocks. Stock water is supplied by dams in all paddocks with a permanent Evans Plains Creek that flows through the property which is a wonderful spot for bushwalking. There is also a bore that provides water to our water tanks.
The Property also offers a pine forest, which is cooling on hot summer days, and in the colder months, it is a winter wonderland adventure. A perfect part of the property to do many things: picnicking in the wild whilst collecting pinecones, wildflowers or simply admiring the majestic views of the Fitzgerald Valley and the Blue Mountains over a glass of local wine and cheese.
The Barn Style Cabin
La Pinata, for a unique glamping experience, offers a barn style cabin dwelling with all the comforts of a home but with a rustic cabin experience.
A majority of the barn style cabin and its amenities have been built from recycled material, this includes the furniture which is mostly recycled or pre-loved. We are also using off the grid electricity and water supply.
It has 7 sleeping rooms with 1 ensuite and 2 Bathrooms. One of the 7 sleeping rooms has a cot.
It has a well-equipped open Kitchen with 5 pit stove, oven, blender, and toaster.
The open living area has 3 spaces to enjoy:

Vale Creek Wines
At La Pinata we can organise a wine tasting experience. The winery is called Vale Creek, located approximately 23.5kms from Newbridge (Gladestone Hotel). Vale Creek’s Cellar Door provides tastings in a relaxed setting overlooking the winery. Their wines are from clones sourced from superior vineyards in Italy – www.valecreek.com.au.
The owners are delightful and welcoming. They are opened most weekends. The winery has many events occurring through the month and if it coincides with your trip, we will be more than happen to share the event with you and if you wish we can organise the wine tasting booking for you as well. Ask the Host about this item so it can be organised.
Driving inside our property. Our internal roads are constantly maintained whilst 2WD drive vehicles have come and gone from our place without an issue, it is recommended to use a 4WD vehicle.

In spring, enjoy the beautiful blossoming fruit trees. You can even visit Sakura Matsuri, the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival in Cowra late September! Year round, enjoy the tranquillity and landscapes of the Japanese Gardens and Cultural Centre in Cowra (14 min). The gardens act as a monument of peace and reconciliation between two countries after the largest Prisoner Of War breakout in modern military history. Cowra's rich history can be explored at the Cowra POW Campsite and various other historical sites around town.
Make sure to end your night around a great campfire! You can have campfires in your own contained fire pits and sometimes we have complimentary firewood in a wood shed close by. Roast some marshmallows and take in the starry night sky.
Property has a gorgeous stand-alone bathroom building with 2 toilets, a hot water shower and sink. Please keep this clean and tidy. There are cleaning products under the sink as we cannot always be there to keep it clean. There is also an undercover table and basic camp kitchen set up for use in the shearing shed.
Please take all rubbish with you.
Pick a camp site in the middle aisle around the sheds, bathroom block and driveway OR in any open paddock (granite pad sites on hill are their own sites).
Note the ground off the driveway and parking pads can get very wet and boggy so to avoid getting bogged please try to stick to the driveway as much as possible.

We are approximately 228.9km via Great Western Highway/A32 from Sydney CBD. It is part of the village known as Newbridge which is 3km from the property. It is an easy 30km drive to Bathurst and 50km to Orange with only 15km away from Blayney. La Pinata is also a short drive to Milthorpe and Carcoar - all lovely award winning quaint towns worth visiting where you can take in the history and enjoy great food and wine.
A great country escape destination! Even the Newbridge Train Station remains treasured by residents and fondly remembered as the stopover for Queen Elizabeth II during her 1954 royal visit!
Newbridge is fortunate to have a local pub, known as the Gladestone Hotel. A a restaurant serving modern cuisine and live music most Sunday afternoons (need to check with Pub for confirmation of entertainment 02 6368 1004). This is approximately 2.7kms from La Pinata!
The Property
La Pinata is circa 161 Ha (400 acres) in size. Altitude of approx 900m.
Over half of the land is clear, the land is mostly undulating with some steeper areas. There are 7 paddocks. Stock water is supplied by dams in all paddocks with a permanent Evans Plains Creek that flows through the property which is a wonderful spot for bushwalking. There is also a bore that provides water to our water tanks.
The Property also offers a pine forest, which is cooling on hot summer days, and in the colder months, it is a winter wonderland adventure. A perfect part of the property to do many things: picnicking in the wild whilst collecting pinecones, wildflowers or simply admiring the majestic views of the Fitzgerald Valley and the Blue Mountains over a glass of local wine and cheese.
The Barn Style Cabin
La Pinata, for a unique glamping experience, offers a barn style cabin dwelling with all the comforts of a home but with a rustic cabin experience.
A majority of the barn style cabin and its amenities have been built from recycled material, this includes the furniture which is mostly recycled or pre-loved. We are also using off the grid electricity and water supply.
It has 7 sleeping rooms with 1 ensuite and 2 Bathrooms. One of the 7 sleeping rooms has a cot.

At La Pinata we can organise a wine tasting experience. The winery is called Vale Creek, located approximately 23.5kms from Newbridge (Gladestone Hotel). Vale Creek’s Cellar Door provides tastings in a relaxed setting overlooking the winery. Their wines are from clones sourced from superior vineyards in Italy – www.valecreek.com.au.
The owners are delightful and welcoming. They are opened most weekends. The winery has many events occurring through the month and if it coincides with your trip, we will be more than happen to share the event with you and if you wish we can organise the wine tasting booking for you as well. Site was easy access and fairly level site for our large van. Nice outlook across the dam up into the hils. Able to take walks around the farm and up into the hills. We went mid week and had site to ourselves which we really enjoyed especially at night sitting at the camp fire looking up at the amazing sky. Host Brett was fantastic and helped us out when our battery died in our car. Very helpful and friendly. Boorowa only 26kms if you need supplies. Wiould highly recommend andcertainly woukd go back.

Unreal views, beautiful spot to relax and soak in the beautiful views!
Highly recommend, especially if you are looking for mountain views and peaceful nature.
When wet recommend a 4wd, otherwise AWD would suit! Just gotta to be familiar with hill climbs and non bitumen roads!

We stayed at Tracey's orchard at the start of a 2 week road trip. We were met by Tracey on arrival where she showed us all the amazing amenities. The camp-site was well kept and very picturesque. We were able to pick some delicious apples and it was a bonus that it was walking distance to a couple of wineries.
Tracey's orchard is a top spot with and amazing host.

What a beautiful location! And the hospitality beyond measure! Jen and John are so kind and welcoming and provide such a lovely, private, safe experience. We spent 6 nights in our hired motorhome outside the shear shed and had such a great time. The mountains, trees and animals are all a sight to see. An absolute must stay!!

Camped for 3 nights over Easter at Redlands Camping, and we had a fantastic time. Our spot at Upper Sooley was so peaceful, and a comfortable short walk to the amenities. The amenities were clean and well kept, and the camp sites are very generously spaced out so your neighbours noises really aren't a bother. Great place to go for a wander and an explore, or just sit around your camp fire to enjoy the stars and scenery. Will definitely be back!

There was a mix up with our booking so we ended up at the Big Dam site but it was peaceful, isolated (as we wanted) and had lovely views. Communication from Jenny was great and all instructions were easy to follow. An added bonus is having bins on site and toilet nearby. It was also great to have the wood we purchased waiting for us at the site. Being dog friendly and able to walk around the property just topped off a great stay. There any many sites to choose from depending on how isolated you want to be. We highly recommend Redlands Camping and look forward to going back again.

Site 14 at Redlands was perfect for the first camping experience for grand kids.
Site was well mown and level enough for them to ride their pushbikes around. Wood we ordered was excellent, portaloos clean and easily accessible, rubbish and recycle bins at site where also a plus.
We definitely will be back and highly recommend Redlands for anyone looking for a hassle free trip away.

We had a fantastic time camped by the picturesque river. It’s a fantastic place for a short walk into town & explore the surrounding area. Our hosts were gregarious, knowledgeable and afforded us as much privacy as we wanted. A magical place thank you Andrew & Simone for your hospitality, we will be back.

Crooked Corner was an absolutely amazing campsite. Nestled in nature, it offered the perfect escape from the noise of everyday life. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax and fully unwind.

We had such a wonderful time at Lyndon Hill. We were met by the friendly, kind and tentative hosts on arrival and shown to our Bull ring location, Nestled in a private location with a huge fire pitt.
We had pre ordered a wheelbarrow of wood and farm fresh eggs which were waiting for us.
Sam even gave us some of her home made sourdough which was absolutely delicious.
We had the most relaxed and wonderful stay here, i really enjoyed the highland cow experience where we got to groom the baby highland cows, highly recommend. Sam and Will are very knowledgeable and share this with you which is wonderful.
We bought our little sausage dog with us and he had an absolute ball.
We will definitely be returning to Lyndon Hill it is a big 10/10 from us
