The grassed area overlooks a Billabong with trees and wildlife with a background to Mount Canobolas. Condition of Billabong and grassed area are subject to climatic conditions. The site is in closer proximity to Vineyards and Cellar Doors.

Overlooking rural paddocks, and the river, you can enjoy the tranquility that a farming landscape has to offer. Perfect family holiday location. Town center is a 5 min drive or a short walk/ride, so access to town facilities and amenities is very convenient. Please refer to images for the latter. Firewood - please bring your own, we do not have firewood or fallen branches from trees. "Wombles Common" has a permanent fire pit area, all other sites require transportable fire pits (provided or bring your own). Please do not leave burn scars on the ground and please take your ashes with you or dump them in the "Wombles Common" fire pit area. River - the river is excellent for fun canoeing adventures. Entering the river is at your own risk. Fishing - great fishing in the river. We love the Red Fin! Pets - pets are welcome but need to be controlled. The safety and comfort of the resident sheep, our neighbours and other campers are a priority. Please don't not allow your pets to disturb (including barking, wandering or chasing sheep) the peace of those around them. Please ensure you book the site you prefer by referring to the image of the sites in this listing. Check image for entrance locations for each site. You will need to be a self-contained camper with own camping toilet/shower, and supplies. We have one power outlet available (only available for "Wombles Common" sites). Known as the Hilltop region, the township of Boorowa, and surrounds are full of rolling hills, farmlands and bush. If you visit in spring, you'll be able to see fields full of bright yellow canola flowers as far as the eye can see. Bring your camera! We are working small family farm only 5 km north of Orange and home to the Williewarrina Poll Hereford Stud. With an ample vegie garden, we are happy to supply you with some of our in seasonal produce, fresh eggs and home made bread for breakfast. We offer only one spacious camp site at a time with stunning views overlooking grape vines to the east of our farm. If the weather is a touch damp - which it is inclined to be in winter in Orange - we can offer you the shelter of our very large hay shed. It will easily fit a caravan and vehicle with room to spare. It will keep your gear dry and your camp site cosy. After a busy day of visiting the vineyards of Orange you are able to relax around the campfire, whether you're camped under the hay shed or not, and take in the serenity. If you wish, you can accompany us on a cattle experience with both our herefords and highlands, feeding and grooming them (weekends only). You are welcome to try your luck in our dam if you have your own fishing gear. Pets are welcome but we do have livestock on the property, as do our neighbours, so please keep them under control. Unfortunately we don't have any toilets or amenities at this point so you will need to be fully self contained and take your waste away.

Rozemary Grove is set over 150 acres of mostly open fields, with sections of native scrub and trees. There is a permanent creek that runs along the northern boundary, ideal for exploring, and even gold panning is possible. The property is 10 minutes from Abercrombie Caves (the original hideout for local bushrangers many years ago, and another gold panning spot) The camping area is clean and easily accessible. 'La Paloma' is a farm located 15 minutes from the township of Cowra and Wyangala Dam. La Paloma boasts spectacular views down the valley and of surrounding granite hills. We offer powered and unpowered camping and a glamping tent. Take a walk up the hill to take in the gorgeous scenery and watch the breath-taking sunrises and sunsets! There is lots of native bird life to see here, with Superb Parrots, Blue Wrens, Cockatoos, Rosellas, Wedge Tail Eagles and of course, Doves (hence the property name, La Paloma).Wake up to see the mob of kangaroos bounding up the hill. Make sure to pop over to Wyangala Dam (14 min) for a fish or take part in some watersports. Or even head down the road to Elliotts Lookout over the Dam for some incredible views! We can even provide under cover boat storage if you want to bring your boat with you for some fun on the lake! In spring, enjoy the beautiful blossoming fruit trees. You can even visit Sakura Matsuri, the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival in Cowra late September! Year round, enjoy the tranquillity and landscapes of the Japanese Gardens and Cultural Centre in Cowra (14 min). The gardens act as a monument of peace and reconciliation between two countries after the largest Prisoner Of War breakout in modern military history. Cowra's rich history can be explored at the Cowra POW Campsite and various other historical sites around town. Make sure to end your night around a great campfire! You can have campfires in your own contained fire pits and sometimes we have complimentary firewood in a wood shed close by. Roast some marshmallows and take in the starry night sky. Property has a gorgeous stand-alone bathroom building with 2 toilets, a hot water shower and sink. Please keep this clean and tidy. There are cleaning products under the sink as we cannot always be there to keep it clean. There is also an undercover table and basic camp kitchen set up for use in the shearing shed. Please take all rubbish with you. Pick a camp site in the middle aisle around the sheds, bathroom block and driveway OR in any open paddock (granite pad sites on hill are their own sites). Note the ground off the driveway and parking pads can get very wet and boggy so to avoid getting bogged please try to stick to the driveway as much as possible.

Borenore field days camping ground was lovely. The powered site was fabulous for camping. Amenties were great with hot showers and plenty of toilets. We took our large dogs and they loved the surroundings. I would reckon this place for a weekend or longer stay. Also good price for what is offered.

Very quiet campsite, with toilet and shower facilities. We struggled to find a campsite in the Orange area with facilities that were not a caravan park or Showground. Field Days ticked our boxes, we had the place to our selves, it is close to the wineries and walking in Mt Canobolas. We Will be back.

Fantastic stay, Sam and her family were very welcoming and helpful right from our arrival with suggestions of activities in the area, all of which were great. We had a tour of their beautiful property including their garden full of fresh produce, we purchased some sourdough and eggs for breaky which was perfect and the cow experience was so good with the Highlands and the beautiful Hereford cows. Nothing was a problem for Sam or her two kids who helped out and ran us through the cow experience and showed our kids around. Would 100% recommend.
