I have a small private property with grass campsites by a tidal outlet to Port Stephens harbour. We do not offer secluded camp sites away from other people on large acreage.
You can spend your days fishing, kayaking or enjoying Nelson Bay and surrounding areas and beaches which are only 15 minutes away. Guests have the use of a retreat shelter/fire place/BBQ area and wifi.

We have off-street parking with the car park area alongside the only car-free campground in Port Stephens. A large, open grassy area surrounded by tall melaleuca trees is perfect for pitching a swag or setting up a tent for camping. In addition to the camping area, there is a small off-street, shaded area for a small number of campervans. There are no powered sites, and sorry, but we do not take caravans.
All guests have access to the facilities, including warm showers and toilets, a large Main building housing double kitchens with crockery and cutlery, toasters and kettles. There are indoor and outdoor covered seating areas, a free gas BBQ on the decked area, and free Wi-Fi.
The Tomaree Peninsula has 26 beaches with numerous walking trails, including the recently upgraded Tomaree Coastal Walk and plenty of water activities including Dolphin and Whale watching cruises, diving, surfing, kayaking, fishing and snorkelling.
Nelson Bay is 8 km from our site and the main tourist centre with plenty of restaurants and cafes, and there are more clubs and food options dotted around the peninsula.

We have off-street parking with the car park area alongside the only car-free campground in Port Stephens. In addition to the camping area, there is a small off-street, shaded area for a small number of campervans. There are no powered sites, and sorry, but we do not take caravans.

The Tomaree Peninsula has 26 beaches with numerous walking trails, including the recently upgraded Tomaree Coastal Walk and plenty of water activities including Dolphin and Whale watching cruises, diving, surfing, kayaking, fishing and snorkelling.
Nelson Bay is 8 km from our site and the main tourist centre with plenty of restaurants and cafes, and there are more clubs and food options dotted around the peninsula.

Situated in Mount Vincent, NSW.
Our Georgian home mansion sits on 5 acres of beautiful, clean, tidy, open land large enough to extend our hospitality and host 'romantics' seeking a getaway experience with a difference. A magical experience in safe, captivating and alluring surroundings. A 'hotel' room under the stars!
You will enjoy the ceiling see-through wonder of a million stars within the safe, cozy and awe-inspiring polycarbonate (hail proof) glass. Perhaps drinks and snacks sitting on the timber deck by the pit fire and Fairly lights offered in our EXTRA 'Experiences'. (see EXTRAS for more info and costs).
Enjoy walks around our property or head out on adventures. Go for a swim or a kayak at Lake Macquarie or explore the Watagans National Park. Perhaps Hot Air Ballooning, Helicopter Rides? We're at the doorstep to the Hunter Valley and lots of wineries/cheese tasting options.
Your pet is welcome to join you; we just ask that you apply all pet hygiene appropriately.

The most beautiful place! Travelling just my toddler and I, we felt super safe and comfortable. My son loved the chickens and I loved the kitchen and the shower 😍 the hosts were really warm and welcoming, and very helpful when my booking had issues. We will be back 🙂

OKA is a lovely pretty place to camp. Quiet and peaceful in the bush, with lots of 🐦 life. The Myall River is reachable at the edge of the property along a bush track. The characterful kitchen / dining / sitting area is fabulous, very well equipped, with all sorts of accompaniments for anyone wanting to practice their culinary skills. Our dog had a lovely time and was made welcome by the host dog Ruby. Kellie and Rod are obliging hosts and good source of info on the locality. Very responsive. It would be a great place to go with a group of friends.

This is the perfect place to unwind, we wanted something peaceful and beautiful and got exactly that. Rod and Kel were fantastic and so were the helpers they had on the property. These guys know how to look after their guests and we highly recommend anyone to take the time to visit. A+++!!!

Kellie’s place was exactly what we were looking for. A beautiful area to camp with plenty of space and shady level areas. There is the most amazing camp kitchen we have ever seen with everything you could need. The bird life is incredible and we really enjoyed the tranquility and a chat with Rod who was happy to share a story or two. Thankyou for sharing your very special place

This stay was one of the best we’ve ever had. What an amazing spot! The camp spaces are so open, you really do feel a million miles away from anything which makes for such a relaxing stay.
The location is perfect, close to town and the Myall Lakes which was awesome for day trips.
The amenities were amazing! Everything you could ask for, especially the shower under the stars.
Kel and Rod were the coolest hosts and had thought of everything you could ever need. They were also great letting their dog teach our young dog some new tricks!!
All in all, I can definitely recommend this stay.

Kellie and Rod were very friendly and welcoming. The site was lovely and quiet, with a massive communal kitchen which was beautifully decorated for Christmas and had lots of amenities and comfortable seating.
The bathroom facilities are limited but the outdoor shower was lovely!

The sanctuary is an ideal place to park up for the day and switch off around all of the animals. The sites are quite private and spacious - you have a lot of room to yourself. 🚐🌅🌓
🐴🐑🐄The animals are friendly and very well looked after by Clint! We even got to meet all of them and give them a feed in the morning rounds. Definitely recommend this spot and we will be back for sure!
