Do you fancy camping on your own exclusive section of the Hunter River with no roads or traffic noise to spoil the serenity? You wont have to share your spot with other campers and you have direct access to the river. Rosebrook River Camp gives you your own private retreat, far away from the crowds but only a few minutes from the beating heart of the Hunter Valley. Our property is situated in the locality of Rosebrook, a fertile area steeped in a rich dairying history. We're only 10 minutes from Maitland and 25 minutes from the Vineyards, but the privacy of the camp site makes it feel like you're miles from anywhere. You've got direct access to the Hunter River with a sandy beach, great swimming holes and it's perfect for a peaceful kayak up or down stream, dependent on river levels at the time of your stay. Bring your own kayak or use ours for a small fee. For those a bit more adventurous, we take you to our drop off point at Luskintyre and you paddle downstream (a leisurely 4 hours) until you arrive at the beach near your campsite. The site is a drive through level, grassy area and easily accessed by 2WD vehicle if you're not towing. For caravans and camper trailers, a 4WD is recommended but it's pretty easy going. Pets are welcome, but MUST stay within the site paddock if not on a lead. Our neighbours have stock and it's important we are always respectful toward them. A garbage bin and recycle bin is provided but you will need your own toilet. Access to your camp site is past our house so we don't encourage coming and going during your stay, but you wont want to leave anyway! Rosebrook River Camp
We had a lovely overnight stay on Micks property. Great private spot & very peaceful. We were blessed with perfect weather but unfortunately had to leave early due to illness. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks Mick for everything! The best farm fresh eggs ever 😋

Mick was fantastic! Incredibly friendly and welcoming. The private campsite was beautiful, and we loved spotting wildlife. Kayaking was an amazing experience—highly recommend!

Rosebrook River Camp
This place is peaceful, private and clean! The campground had beautifully cut grass, perfect mountain view and direct access to the Hunter River. I'm bringing my fishing rod next time. Mick is a great host and make sure to play with Rusty and Elvis when you get the chance.

Our second stay here, It is perfect! Mick is a wonderful host and his property is beautiful! We hired a canoe this time too which we loved, and made our stay even better!

Could not have started our New Years better, The property was stunning, quiet, peaceful and well maintained. Mick our host, was the most helpful and generous person who supplied some of the best eggs we have ever tasted. We can’t wait to go back and enjoy the experience all over again.

Stayed in a tent overnight. Mick was a very responsive and wonderful host. The site is very beautiful with a shady tree and easy access to the river.
