Second time at Bush Paddock with kids in tow this time and they loved it. Had a great time exploring, playing games and valuable family time together. Teenage girls need a bathroom and they were more than happy with the amenities 😂. Hopefully we will all be back again. This is a great spot for families with kids who might not be quite ready for full off grid camping. Thanks again Cherie and Greig.
Really enjoyed the quiet, the cows, kangaroos and the amazing birdsong. Camping on flat green grass made setting up a breeze. All the mod cons were included which almost made it more like a glamping experience. Cherie was a lovely host and well done to both her and Greg for creating an exceptional camping site.

10/10! This is a fantastic property with a well maintained creek side camp site and beautiful surrounding bushland. The facilities are excellent and the hosts are very welcoming. Great property for families camping with young children. Suitable for caravans and tents. Highly recommend

The Bush Paddock hosted by Cherie is fabulous. Our group had caravans, campervans and swags. We enjoyed the communal space the camp kitchen provided with a fireplace. We also had damper cooked on sticks around the open space fire pit out back.

After camping off grid for some time this was a welcome treat! Comfy lounges around a fireplace, full camp kitchen, and modern bathroom with toilet and hot shower… this was camping with 5 star comfort. Cherie and Greig’s bush paddock has all the peace, quiet and serenity of a bush/ country camping retreat with all of the comforts of home. Had a great mini break! Thanks again.

The perfect spot to unplug and relax. Cherie was an incredible host, and the undercover facilities were fantastic, everything you could want was there waiting for you. Plenty of flat space to set up any kind of rig, and lots of room to spread out.

We had a great time during our stay here. Our 5yo lives finding fossils in the dry creek bed and the 2yo loved visits from the cows. We had enough room to spread out the extended family and the camp kitchen had everything we needed to cook, clean and stay warm. Thank you for the stay.

A very peaceful and well resourced camp. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, (and the walks). The undercover kitchen, dining area and fireplace with lounges was a real bonus. Lighting, power and a bathroom was just what we needed to take our weekend away with friends to the next level. Cherie and the family were very responsive, and welcoming. A hour or two in Stroud visiting historic stores & the legendary Billy T Cafe made our visit complete. Highly Recommended!

We had an amazing stay. Cherie was a wonderful host, and the place was peaceful and beautiful, far from the bustling city. All we could hear were birds and the rustling of leaves. The site was exclusive to our group, very clean, and had all the amenities we needed. Honestly, I want to gatekeep this place because it’s that good. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot for a relaxed weekend away with a group in all weather conditions. Hosts were great and location even better being less than 1h out of Newcastle and 10 minutes from local shops.
The expansive roof, fully furnished kitchen, multiple fire places and modern amenities make it hard to leave at the end of the trip. We will be back no doubt about it.

What a great trip for families
4 dads & 8 kids all camped up, great kitchen. Heaps of space and close to town if we needed anything.
Local swimming hole in the Kalang River was superb
Cherie was an excellent host and we felt very welcomed at her property. Would absolutely stay here again.
Cherie was an amazing host, super welcoming! She made sure we had the best stay. Seeing the cows wander around was really cute. Also having a kitchen+bathroom is living!

We are becoming regulars up here. We love the atmosphere, beautiful scenery and walks. The quiet sounds of nature to rest and relax. Our host Cherie and her husband are such amazing, kind and friendly people. Nothings an effort. The personal touches they put into the camp shows the love they have for there property and visitors xx

We had a fantastic time at Cherie’s bush camp. Everything we needed was there- the camp kitchen was our hub for the weekend with the open fire roaring. A beautiful and secluded location perfect for our group of 8. Thanks Cherie- we’ll be back!

Great camp kitchen, clean and modern shower and toilet and plenty of level space for vans or tents. Great place to get away from it all. Cherie was a great host.
Incredible spot! This was perfect for my partner and I. We arrived late at night and Cherie was really wonderful to meet us, the site was easy to get to in the van and there was plenty of flat space to sleep. The space was fully equipped with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The bathroom had a flushing toilet and warm shower. We bought a huge wheelbarrow for the fire place which was plenty. Cherie and her husband where very lovely and took an interest in all of the birds my partner and I had seen. We spent the whole day bush walking and looking at the incredible birds, the golden whistler was a highlight!

Awesome camp regardless of the weather. Awesome camp kitchen / indoor fire place to relax when it’s raining, or enjoy a campfire by the creek. Toilet and shower are better than most that you find in hotels. Very relaxing. Lots of stuff to do and explore. My group, including my daughters, cousin and his sons thoroughly enjoyed our stay in our vans. The host Cherie is very friendly, and ensures that campers have all they need for an enjoyable stay. Cherie even provided me some fresh rosemary and garlic for my camp oven stew!!! Would recommend this sight to anyone, even the non campers!!!!!! 10 out of 10!!!!
We booked the Cabin in Conjunction with the paddock, in order to accommodate the "Non-campers" in our family. I highly recommend you do the same. It was brilliant to finally have those members join us for a family weekend. There are not many places that can provide this. The cabin was cute and cosy and perfectly adequate for a few days stay. It is located right near the communal camp kitchen. The cabin has it's own kitchen so the camp kitchen for us was a place to come together. Cherie has done a great job with the cabin.
The hosts were very hospitable. They maintained the camp very well. The bathroom was large, modern and very clean.
The camp kitchen was large and well equipped.

Cherie has thought of all the things you might need and stocked the camp kitchen with them.
