Our property is located on a relaxed 5 acres at the gateway to the Hunter Valley. Enjoy the lush forests and views of the mountain nearby. There's a number of great lookouts nearby if you're up for a walk.
The Barn accommodation is great for groups who enjoy the outdoors. Enjoy your outdoor adventure with open living and eco tourism at the foot of the Watagan Mountains. Wildlife and bush tucker walks available.
Firewood provided for your indoor fireplace. You will have access to a camp oven and rotating grill, as well as a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, electric hot plate and kettle. There are toilet and shower amenities, and access to drinking water.
There is phone reception in certain spots and limited wifi. There is no TV.
The barn can accommodate sleeping for 10+ and features two double beds, two single beds, one couch, two air mattresses and five floor mattresses. There is also a fully equipped gym.
You will need to bring your own sheets, pillows, sleeping bag etc for added comfort. Sleeping close to the fire upstairs is recommended in the cooler months. Camping is optional with nice flat spots near the dam under sheoaks.
Our campsites are equally as beautiful. Chill out in the shade by the dam during the day. Firewood is provided and you're welcome to use the camp ovens and the rotating grill, but if you get stuck cooking on the open fire there is a microwave, electric hot plate and kettle. These are situated downstairs in the barn a short walk from site. A great swim in the 50m dam.
There is access to toilets, showers, drinking water and rubbish facilities.

CAMP 6 is the very top of the mountain with a long wide strip of cleared area with bush on both sides and a window at the end to the valley below, very private, must be fully contained and would suit most vehicles, may lose traction if pulling a heavy caravan or trailer.

Singleton is about 30mins to the north and has a large shopping centre and many other attractions.
Cessnock is about 30 mins to the East, has a population of over 20,000 people and excellent facilities including a private airport.
Newcastle is about 1.5 hrs drive away and has a commercial airport and many other facilities of a large sea side city.
Wollombi is about 20min drive to the South and is one of the first areas settled in after Sydney. It has many items of historical significance including jail, museum, post office and Wollombi Tavern, the home of Dr Jurds Jungle Juice.
Sydney is about 2.5 - 3 hours south.

I have a small private property with grass campsites by a tidal outlet to Port Stephens harbour. We do not offer secluded camp sites away from other people on large acreage.
You can spend your days fishing, kayaking or enjoying Nelson Bay and surrounding areas and beaches which are only 15 minutes away. Guests have the use of a retreat shelter/fire place/BBQ area and wifi.

The barn can accommodate sleeping for 10+ and features two double beds, two single beds, one couch, two air mattresses and five floor mattresses. There is also a fully equipped gym.
You will need to bring your own sheets, pillows, sleeping bag etc for added comfort. Sleeping close to the fire upstairs is recommended in the cooler months. Camping is optional with nice flat spots near the dam under sheoaks.
Our campsites are equally as beautiful. Chill out in the shade by the dam during the day. Firewood is provided and you're welcome to use the camp ovens and the rotating grill, but if you get stuck cooking on the open fire there is a microwave, electric hot plate and kettle. These are situated downstairs in the barn a short walk from site. A great swim in the 50m dam.
There is access to toilets, showers, drinking water and rubbish facilities.

Wollombi is about 20min drive to the South and is one of the first areas settled in after Sydney. It has many items of historical significance including jail, museum, post office and Wollombi Tavern, the home of Dr Jurds Jungle Juice.
Sydney is about 2.5 - 3 hours south.

We had a fabulous stay at Domaine de Binet. Natalie was lovely and so accomodating. It was so beautiful with the green paddocks and outlook out to the mountains that we didn’t even need to leave. And even fitted in a wine tasting at the venue which was delicious. Highly recommend and great for a big group at the Chapel.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Louise is a fantastic host — very kind, friendly, and welcoming. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the land is well kept, which made it easy to set up our tent.
Compared to other farms I’ve stayed at, Louise has really gone above and beyond by providing a fully equipped camp kitchen and a large bathroom with a shower included, which made the stay extra comfortable.
The location is also excellent — just 20 minutes from Nelson Bay and close to many great attractions in the area, like Irukandji Shark & Ray Encounters and others. I would happily stay here again.

We had a fantastic weekend at Maggie’s Arcadia campground. Beautiful paddock style camping with lots to explore, warm showers, clean toilets, sweet smelling handwash - my wife thinks this is the best campground we have ever been to!

Great location great views awesome Cellar door (Paul is a pure gold) we had Electrical hook up and water what was lovely. There was so much space so plenty of room to spread out and not too close to neighbours. Defo head out to Binet and check out their many sites.

We had a fantastic stay at Two Shores Holiday Village and would absolutely come back again.
It’s a smaller, quieter park which we actually really appreciated. While there isn’t a huge amount of structured activities for kids, the pool more than made up for it — it was beautiful, clean, and easily the highlight of our stay.
The amenities block was spotless and looked recently renovated, which made a big difference. Everything felt well cared for and maintained.
We were originally allocated a site that would’ve been a squeeze for our very large tent (8x6m), but the owners were incredibly helpful and moved us to Site 10 without any fuss. That site was perfect — spacious, easy to access, and ideal for a big setup.
Friendly management, great facilities, and a relaxing atmosphere. We’d happily recommend it to others and will definitely be back!

Small quiet park on the lake. Walking/cycle path past the front. Best if you are self contained as the amenities block although newly refurbished and clean, rarely had hot water.
