Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Bring your pets . Enjoy bushwalks on our 110 acre property. Enjoy a stroll to the creek. Enjoy a swim in the dam. Enjoy the peace amongst the protected bushland. Access: The driveway to the property is long and steep. A 4WD/AWD is required. The Site: The campsite has its own access and is surrounded by garden and bush with abundant wildlife. There are two dams nearby one of which has two kayaks for you to use and you can go for beautiful walks to explore the surrounding conservation bush land. A camping toilet with a small tent around is provided by us. The host’s house is a 5 minute walk away from the tent on the same property but cannot be seen or heard. While we are always available for questions and anything you need, we also value our privacy and will respect yours. Kids: Babies and kids are more than welcome! We can provide a portacot, a baby bath, high chair and baby or kids toys upon request and if there is anything else you need to make your stay easier or more comfortable just let us know. Animal companions: - Dogs and other small animal companions are more than welcome but please let us know about your dogs size, age, breed and behaviour when booking.

    The isolation of the site was great and for some campers it would probably be perfect. Sorry Aline, but I found the sloping site awkward. The steel fire pit I can understand for safety purposes but I thought it less than appealing. As for wildlife, I did spot a wallaby and lots of birds but unfortunately the constant crowing of a rooster bought the mood down a tad. I know I was visiting a farm . . . but, not for me. Aline was great. Excellent host. Three out of five stars.

    Very private and nice site. Lots of firewood around the site. Only issue was the rooster that would wake us up every morning

    Host was amazing and a very nice secluded spot. Not the flattest for camping and slight road noise when it’s quiet at night. Thanks for having us Aline :)

    We had a great stay! Location was peaceful and secluded and the host was always available whenever we had questions or requests. It had all the minimums we needed for a chill camping retreat with friends.

    Nice, quiet and not too far away site for a weekend away from Sydney. Aline was an excellent host, communicated well and even provided fresh eggs for breakfast. Would visit again.

    A beautiful secluded campsite! We had an amazing stay on Aline's land. She was super friendly & helpful when needed. The toilet was clean, there was plenty of firewood and heaps of wildlife. Highly recommend this campsite!!

    The campsite was private with gorgeous bush land surrounding. Perfect for a quiet weekend away. Aline was a gracious host and we felt very welcome on her property which had plenty to explore. Great location near lots to do also. Highly recommend!

    Great camping spot - the campsite was secluded but at the same time an easy drive from Sydney and close enough to Cessnock to take a quick trip in for a pub dinner or get to the shops for last minute items. The on-site toilet was a huge plus for the family. Plenty of firewood and the host was excellent. The family had a great time and we’ll be back again.

    Fabulous forest site. Host was communicative (but once I got there I had no phone signal....), very warm and friendly. Great clean, well kept area. Lots of birds. We had a fabulous time and will be back.

    My family and I really enjoyed our stay at peaceful Sunny Ridge Farm and we loved being able to take our dog with us on our adventure. Aline has a beautiful property which we had a great time exploring the local bush wildlife and disconnecting from our tech and being together. The fire pit was awesome and worked great! Aline is kind, helpful and welcoming to her property and we hope be back on a future camping trip.

    We loved this peaceful spot and had such a wonderful family weekend away! Dogs also had a great time! Lovely walks, and good little dam for the kids to kayak on. Location was perfect too, only 20mins to Hunter Valley yet only 80mins from Sydney!
