Featuring an amazing rustic cabin, nine riverside campsites, along with paddock and bush sites, all 4WD accessible and two equally stunning 2WD accessible sites. You’ll share our spaces with kangaroos, wallabies, emus, echidnas, deer, platypus and more.
Enjoy some optional extras, including Tammie's home made bread, farm fresh, free range eggs, or one of our range of grazing platters, home made jams or hot chocolate kits.

The 2WD accessible sites feature spectacular views to the right, towards Mt Panorama and Mt Horrible and towards Mt Canobolas to the left.

Each campsite offers its own unique features for you to enjoy and a hand crafted pit toilet is accessible to those camped along the river bank.

The campground is 400m off the Newell Highway tucked in on the Marthaguy Creek out of highway sight. Yarralla is a working mixed farming enterprise running sheep, cattle and cropping.
The campground also overlooks a large dam with a Jetty.
The campground offers a safe and secure location to camp away from town with a shelter shed with water over a sink, a picnic table, a hybrid toilet and a hot shower.

A walk along Killongbutta Road reveals sweeping rural vistas across Wiradjuri Country —a river valley layered with history, including ancient stone quarry sites, corroboree grounds and the resting place of a warrior.
The river itself is alive with platypus, water dragons and rakali (native water rats). Wombats have made their homes in the riverbanks, and you may find yourself sharing the space with these quiet, nocturnal neighbours.

Looking for some peace and tranquility? We'd love for you to enjoy a spot in front of our creek on our 53 acre property, Brazenhead, which is surrounded by 1.3kms of the Winburndale Rivulet. Brazenhead is a 15 minute drive to the closest shops, 20 minutes into Bathurst, 30 minutes from Sofala and 1 hour from the historic Hill End.
There is ample space for groups, with wide open spaces but also plenty of trees for shade. Fires are permitted in the spots provided and according to local fire restrictions.
The creek is a good spot to try some gold panning, go exploring and also has some deep swimming holes for you to enjoy.
Pitch your tent or pull up your camping vehicle next to our creek! You will have complete privacy, only the kangaroos and other wildlife to share your trip with.
There is plenty of space for the kids to run around, kick a ball, play some cricket, or go exploring along the creek during the day. In the evenings everyone can sit and relax in the quiet in front of a campfire.
We welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. The campsite is 2WD accessible with plenty of room and flat space to camp on.
Not far from our property you can find the Bridle Track, which is very well known by 4WD enthusiasts. It was originally built as the first road between Bathurst and Hill End during the gold rush era, and was given its name due to horsemen having to dismount and guide their horses by the bridle through the very narrow sections.
If you visit in November you may be here for the annual Marmalade Festival, with good weather, musicians, stalls and of course jams and marmalades!

Hillsdale is for 4WD drivers only and suits campers who want a peaceful and private place to stay within easy access of all that Mudgee has to offer.

The campground offers a safe and secure location to camp away from town with a shelter shed with water over a sink, a picnic table, a hybrid toilet and a hot shower.

Looking for some peace and tranquility? We'd love for you to enjoy a spot in front of our creek on our 53 acre property, Brazenhead, which is surrounded by 1.3kms of the Winburndale Rivulet. Brazenhead is a 15 minute drive to the closest shops, 20 minutes into Bathurst, 30 minutes from Sofala and 1 hour from the historic Hill End.
There is ample space for groups, with wide open spaces but also plenty of trees for shade. Fires are permitted in the spots provided and according to local fire restrictions.
The creek is a good spot to try some gold panning, go exploring and also has some deep swimming holes for you to enjoy.
Pitch your tent or pull up your camping vehicle next to our creek! You will have complete privacy, only the kangaroos and other wildlife to share your trip with.
There is plenty of space for the kids to run around, kick a ball, play some cricket, or go exploring along the creek during the day. In the evenings everyone can sit and relax in the quiet in front of a campfire.
We welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. The campsite is 2WD accessible with plenty of room and flat space to camp on.
Not far from our property you can find the Bridle Track, which is very well known by 4WD enthusiasts. It was originally built as the first road between Bathurst and Hill End during the gold rush era, and was given its name due to horsemen having to dismount and guide their horses by the bridle through the very narrow sections.
If you visit in November you may be here for the annual Marmalade Festival, with good weather, musicians, stalls and of course jams and marmalades!

Paddock camping with a little bit of luxury.
Located only a few minutes outside town and just a short drive off the main road, the site is easy to access and well signposted. Being close to the highway does mean there can be a little road noise if you’re a light sleeper—pack some earplugs just in case. That said, if you’re like my wife, you’ll sleep straight through it without any problems.
The camp kitchen is basic but comfortable and very clean. The composting toilet is easily the best I’ve ever seen—far nicer than the description suggests and better than some toilets we have used in caravan parks. There’s also a hot shower available, but the real treat is firing up the donkey and enjoying a soak under the stars. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves on a beautiful, clear night, which made it a pretty special experience.
We met the hosts after they finished work (it’s a working farm) and had an enjoyable chat with them. A very nice couple.
YARRALLA on the Marthuguy is definitely worth considering if you’re looking for a stay around Gilgandra.

Orange is BEAUTIFUL! And the orchid is a great place to stay and enjoy the scenery and access all that Orange has to offer 👌
The property is very well maintained and great facilities.
There were a few kids at other sites and they all played in the centre green space which was nice for the kids, so it’s a balance of enough space to yourself but also close enough for kids to play.
Being an orchid there were a lot of bees and wasps, which I guess you should expect but the kids took a little while to relax.
Definitely take your own wood as there wasn’t much dry kindling at the site.
The hosts were lovely and helpful.
The kids loved picking their own apples and it makes for some very cute photos!
We would definitely stay again.

We had such a great stay at Watton! We booked Drovers run which was further back from the river (but not too far) and it was perfect as it gave us the privacy and a huge spot for our dog to run around. The campsite itself was beautiful, surrounded with farm animals, huge space and the river was the icing on the cake!
Damien, the host was absolutely amazing! He gave us itinerary for the perfect day trip, which was the highlight of our stay. He also managed to save us by lending us his leads when our tent deflated..,and the homemade bread that Tammie made was soo good.

River is great, be aware you will most likely need to pull your kayak through certain spots due to shallow water/rocks. But it’s lovely and clean, great place to take a dip!

Loved the beauty and the remoteness of Money Rock Camp. A gorgeous spot to camp with brilliant views of the Warrumbungles. James and Stuart were amazing hosts very helpful and welcoming. Although there were 2 other group of campers on the property, the distance between sites meant you couldn't see them or hear! Total bliss! Lots of birds and wildlife! We will definitely be back 🙂

We loved our stay at Watton Airstrip. Extremely peaceful and relaxed. Sitting by the fire for a morning coffee, or an evening wine or two. 😊
It's a great spot. Thoroughly recommended!

We loved that place because it has wild animals like platypus, alpacas, horses , kangaroos and parrots! River is good for beginner kayaking and more advanced. Grass looked after and drinking water available which saves space in your camper van . Very well recommended!
