CAMP 1 allows up to 14 or more campsites to include caravans, motor homes, large or small. tents etc. with flat and slightly flat areas and close to the roadway dead end street.
CAMP 2 allows up to eight or more smaller caravans tents rooftops etc also with some flatter areas.
CAMP 3 is a private in the bush area and will cater for five or so rooftops tents, difficult for caravans or large vehicles.
CAMP 4 smaller possibly two tents or rooftops secluded in the bush.
CAMP 5 similar to camp 3 in the bush and completely private great for a get together with friends.
CAMP 6 is the very top of the mountain with a long wide strip of cleared area with bush on both sides and a window at the end to the valley below, very private, must be fully contained and would suit most vehicles, may lose traction if pulling a heavy caravan or trailer.

We are surrounded by the stunning valley views of Marra Marra National Park. Guests can enjoy hiking, wandering the orchard picking fresh produce, taking a tractor ride, feeding the animals and relaxing. Please note we are a working farm so sometimes tractors and vehicles can be heard working from 7am. There will be foot traffic and possibly tractor rides operating near some of the sites although we will do our best to respect your privacy while you are here. We also have a quarry surrounding most of the property, so they sometimes operate machinery early. This is not generally too disruptive though. We are just 15 minutes' drive from the beautiful historical Wiseman's Ferry and the Hawkesbury River. There are multiple hiking tracks located close by. We have several sites to offer around the property. We have a beautiful huge dam just 350m down the gully. It’s super peaceful although a steep walk down the driveway to access, it's definitely worth it, so pack your walking shoes and some swimmers.

For those seeking additional space, there is a separate rear studio, also with air conditioning, a double bed, and an ensuite. This studio is available by prior arrangement (POA). If you don't book it, the studio will remain unoccupied during your stay.
Location: Dyarubbin is situated on the eastern shore of Bar Point, just a few kilometers upriver from where the M1 Freeway crosses the Hawkesbury River at the Brooklyn/Mooney Mooney Interchange. It’s less than an hour’s drive from Sydney CBD, excluding peak periods.

Nestled under the Watagan mountains escarpment in the Hunter valley, the property has some amazing views in all directions, but still remains secluded and hidden from view. The property has been selectively cleared to maintain a balance of open land and untouched bushland which has a boundary to the Watagans National Park.
The animal life is very diverse as many species transition from the Watagans into the property and many live on site full time. These include flocks of amazing bird species such as Gang gang and Black Cockatoos, resident Wedge tailed eagles, Kookaburras, finches, honey eaters, Coucals, Lyrebirds and more. Wallabies of various types are common, and Sugar gliders can be seen on the flowering Eucalypts.
The camping areas for RV's sit on a large elevated flat area that border a large gorge with broken views towards the Hunter Valley vineyards. The Gorge (or Canyon) is rimmed by caves and has rainforest type trees in the bottom. The caves can be explored and the rainforest can be walked if you are fit!
The tent and camper trailer areas are terraced into an area of slight slope with a number of sites to chose from. Non potable water taps are available at each caravan site and at intervals in the camping area. This water is clear fresh dam or bore water and can be used for showers, washing up etc. Two flush toilets are available for use by both RV's and campers. There is a central fire pit.
We have a private site which has open views over the Hunter Valley to the Vineyards and beyond to the Barrington tops. This site has a cliff edge pool that comfortably fits up to 4 people for a dip. This area has a large fire pit that can be used to heat the pool in winter.
This site has its own flushing toilet and Shower. This site is best suited to a caravan as it is terraced, though it would be possible to setup tents or a camper van in this location also. This can also be booked as a group site.
16minutes to Cessnock, 25minutes to the M1, 2.25 hours to Sydney central and 25 minutes to Pokolbin.
The location is generally very peaceful with all sorts of wildlife.
There is plenty of ground sticks for fire wood and bulk timber for purchase.

The Communal camping area is within walking distance of our amenities block, which offers flushing porcelain toilets and a hot shower. Bush campsites are fully self-sufficient, BYO (bring your own) water and toileting system. All campers are required to take their rubbish home with them as there are no bins on site. Sites available for all vehicle types, from buses and large caravans to fully kitted out off-road vehicles.
We offer a self check-in service with full maps and directions, which means you can arrive anytime you like.

Beautiful property, nestled in the Colo Valley, next to the pristine Colo River. We have cleared grassy paddocks, some shady areas, and access to the Colo River, one of the most pristine rivers in NSW.
Our river access is normally shallow, well-suited to young families or those who just want to lay back and enjoy a refreshing dip. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing are provided free of charge along with bird watching, local wildlife, and horses in surrounding paddocks.
We offer limited sites to comply with NSW Camping legislation and Hipcamp guidelines and to enable campers to experience the Colo as it should be, listening to the beautiful wildlife and really appreciating the outdoors. Sites are large with varying distance between each to enable you to enjoy the camping experience in your own space.
Both paddock sites and limited river spots are available. If planning to stay with friends and you wish to share a site only 1 booking is required, the sites are large, some up to 30m x 30m.
IMPORTANT: Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, with conditions, and a $20 fee applies. Please check with Hosts before booking. Once approved, please add the Pets Extra when booking.
(Saturday night 2-night minimum)
There is no mobile reception or internet access, therefore, providing a true off-grid retreat. Self-sufficient campers are preferred.
There are fire drums available on each site, most with grill plates - subject to RFS bush fire danger ratings on the day.
There are three communal flushing toilets and two awesome hot water showers!
ALL waste is to leave with you!
There are local bush walks through National Parks and great places for mountain bike riding although be mindful of holiday traffic in peak times on our local dirt roads.
The local shop, Colo Riverside is open 4 days a week Thurs-Sun, just 10kms up the road providing last-minute supplies, ice, bottle shop, and cafe services.

We also have 2 x 4 star cabins which sleep 15 between them, they are listed separately on Hipcamp. However the guests from both the camp sites and the cabins have shared access to the pool and facilities. Which includes a large under cover patio area.

Nestled under the Watagan mountains escarpment in the Hunter valley, the property has some amazing views in all directions, but still remains secluded and hidden from view. The property has been selectively cleared to maintain a balance of open land and untouched bushland which has a boundary to the Watagans National Park.
The animal life is very diverse as many species transition from the Watagans into the property and many live on site full time. These include flocks of amazing bird species such as Gang gang and Black Cockatoos, resident Wedge tailed eagles, Kookaburras, finches, honey eaters, Coucals, Lyrebirds and more. Wallabies of various types are common, and Sugar gliders can be seen on the flowering Eucalypts.
The camping areas for RV's sit on a large elevated flat area that border a large gorge with broken views towards the Hunter Valley vineyards. The Gorge (or Canyon) is rimmed by caves and has rainforest type trees in the bottom. The caves can be explored and the rainforest can be walked if you are fit!
The tent and camper trailer areas are terraced into an area of slight slope with a number of sites to chose from. Non potable water taps are available at each caravan site and at intervals in the camping area. This water is clear fresh dam or bore water and can be used for showers, washing up etc. Two flush toilets are available for use by both RV's and campers. There is a central fire pit.
We have a private site which has open views over the Hunter Valley to the Vineyards and beyond to the Barrington tops. This site has a cliff edge pool that comfortably fits up to 4 people for a dip. This area has a large fire pit that can be used to heat the pool in winter.
This site has its own flushing toilet and Shower. This site is best suited to a caravan as it is terraced, though it would be possible to setup tents or a camper van in this location also. This can also be booked as a group site.
16minutes to Cessnock, 25minutes to the M1, 2.25 hours to Sydney central and 25 minutes to Pokolbin.
The location is generally very peaceful with all sorts of wildlife.
There is plenty of ground sticks for fire wood and bulk timber for purchase.

Our river access is normally shallow, well-suited to young families or those who just want to lay back and enjoy a refreshing dip. Amazing sunrises, sunsets, and stargazing are provided free of charge along with bird watching, local wildlife, and horses in surrounding paddocks.
We offer limited sites to comply with NSW Camping legislation and Hipcamp guidelines and to enable campers to experience the Colo as it should be, listening to the beautiful wildlife and really appreciating the outdoors. Sites are large with varying distance between each to enable you to enjoy the camping experience in your own space.
Both paddock sites and limited river spots are available. If planning to stay with friends and you wish to share a site only 1 booking is required, the sites are large, some up to 30m x 30m.
IMPORTANT: Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis, with conditions, and a $20 fee applies. Please check with Hosts before booking. Once approved, please add the Pets Extra when booking.

There is no mobile reception or internet access, therefore, providing a true off-grid retreat. Self-sufficient campers are preferred.

All other Eco sites have Hot Shower and flush toilets
Some Campsites are in our lovely small manicured bush garden setting. It's a level, grass/lawn shaded area. There are 4x 15 amp powered sites. Suitable for small quiet groups/ families. NOT suitable for loud partying. Hot shower and toilets
The state forest is a short 10min drive away for bush walking, mountain biking and 4 wheel driving. Beach is
40 min drive away. We are located close to the Central Coast and Newcastle. (In Cooranbong )
Some of our camp sites have access to three eco toilets and only one shared shower, rubbish facilities and drinking water. (Campfires) we have 5 fire pits on some of our sites , fires are permitted during the winter months.
We also have 2 x 4 star cabins which sleep 15 between them, they are listed separately on Hipcamp. However the guests from both the camp sites and the cabins have shared access to the pool and facilities. Which includes a large under cover patio area.
FRIENDLY PETS welcome. On certain camp sites ourSmall kitchen with microwave dishwasher and cook top and fridge may be used . Please just clean up any mess you make. For the next guest All cleaning products under sink. WE HAVE 2 DOGS that are people friendly., who love to meet new fury friends , they do have the run of our property .
As our property has a lot of maintenance lawns /gardens ; we may use mowers blowers etc , we will possibly maintain between 10 am to 2 pm If needed.
WE HAVE A LOT OF WALLABIES RUNNING AROUND PLEASE DRIVE TO 5 KILOMETRES

Had a great overnight stay here. The place is quiet, peaceful, and perfect if you just want to unwind without having to travel too far.
Amenities are 10/10 and the whole site is clean and well-maintained. I’d definitely recommend this spot, especially for first-time campers since almost everything you need is already available.
Lambert was a legend—super friendly and gave me a full run-through of the site and amenities when I arrived.
Will definitely be back!

Allan was a very welcoming host, showed us around the property and spoke about his family land.
Grounds were perfectly kept, toilets, shower and camp kitchen all in working order and clean.
Quiet area with
Lots of birdlife, a little trek down to the creek.
The doggo and us loved this camp and highly recommended
Travelling around in our little motorhome from FNQ down to VIC, definitely probably will stay here on our way back home.

Great place to camp! We stayed in spot 9, which situated between the orchards on a well kept grass. Plenty of space to set up your camp and have privacy between neighbours. Toilet and shower were easy walk away, and there were also cute goats, pigs and alpacas to mention a few. The area was overall very beautiful and quiet (Saturday-Sunday night).
Toilet doors would need some fix as the locking was bit sketchy, but they were clean and toilet paper was provided.

We loved this campsite! Site 3 is a secluded little oasis. There were lots of pickers weaving through the campsite when we were there on the weekend, but once picking closes in the arvo it feels like you’re the last people on Earth. The hosts were super friendly and accommodating. We will definitely book again!

Great campsite. I stayed at Site 5 which was quiet, spacious, and right next to the pond. The place was clean, well maintained, and easy to navigate with clear signage.
Really enjoyed walking through the orchard (grabbed an apple along the way) and the steep walk down to the dam. It’s definitely steep, but the view at the bottom is beautiful. Just be ready for the climb back up.
Woke up to ducks quacking around 5am which added to the experience. With the pond and plenty of shade nearby, it can get quite cool at night.
Tip: bringing a camp toilet is useful as the main toilet is a bit of a walk.
Overall a great stay — I’d happily come back.

Lovely property, excellent facilities and wonderful hospitality. The caves and brook were lovely and there was plenty of open space for kids to kick a ball and ride bikes. There was some noise from the wedding nearby but the owners make that clear in the description and it didn't go too late. Recommended!

Well maintained site, peaceful and quiet. A few horses nearby, and orchard right behind (we weren’t in season for fruit picking though). Portaloo and tap to wash up close by. Flushable toilet and showers a few minutes walk away.
Mini easy hike to a waterfall nearby - watch out for leeches though!
Our highlight was toasting marshmallow under the stars and spotting Jupiter with the kids ✨

What a great place to relax and unwind and so close to Gosford. Sites were generous, a little slope but nothing to worry about. A stroll through forest with the 7m waterfall was stunning. The facilities were in the process of getting a major upgrade but we found the existing ones still worked fine. Looking forward to visiting again soon.

The Hideaway is a great, open, quiet riverside spot. Took the dog for a one night stay, very chilled, great to watch the skii boats. Really good communication and help with everything. Super hosts! Excellent location for exploring the best national parks, river bends, windy roads, fishing and lunch spots and ferry crossings. Did it all in one day, one night, will spend longer next time

Excellent location, very quite place and river next to it makes it perfect camping spots for adults and kids, as small as infants. The river is extremely clean and safe for kids to pay in, as long as they are monitored. The water is below your knee height. They have hot shower and toilet facility and provides woodfire at extra cost. Bring your own drinking water though. Yarra, the owner is very nice and helpful as well. The only downfall about this location is that you have to take your rubbish back with you, but we didn't mind because we had space in the car. So, keep some space in the car and bring extra bags or box to keep your rubbish. Main reason we chose this place was because of the river and off leash dogs are allowed here. It is somewhat a fenced area so our Belgian Shepherd was safe, could roam freely and loved this place.

Unfortunately had to cut my time a little short due to the weather but my time at Camp on Elderslie was fantastic. Dog friendly which is a must for me, super quiet and seems very isolated considering it’s less than 10mins from town. Bit of a walk to the river but well worth it, my doggo loved the water as did I. Will be looking to return in the next few months. Great Hipcamp. Enjoyed my time.
