It is a 10 min drive from Nelligen town centre and a 20 min drive from Batemans Bay. If you need supplies you can also travel by boat into Batemans Bay and tie up to many of its wharfs for that different experience.
The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream.
You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water.
The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region.
Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper) and shower onsite, in busy periods (peak times) there may be a slight wait for these amenities.
This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. With water onsite you can even flush motors at the end of the day.
The property has Telstra coverage for added security.

We are located 19km off the Pacific Highway from the historical town of Mogo (and Mogo Zoo) on an all weather gravel/dirt road with a concrete causeway crossing at the entrance of the property.
Choose from a selection campsites, one that overlooks farmland with views to the river flats and mountains or a grassed riverbank.
The large and open level grassy area is perfect for tents, caravans and RVs.
A flushing toilet and a hot water shower are available.
Phone reception is pretty reliable.
There is a deep swimming hole close by, wonderful for a dip, snorkling, gold panning...
At the edge of the swimming hole is mowed grass area for relaxing.
Children are welcome, although to be supervised at all times.
We also have a designated campfire area with firewood supplied on arrival and additional available if requested.

Once a much larger property, we purchased our 120-acre (50-hectare) in 1984 as a means to live sustainably and raise a family.
Living in our shed whilst we prepared the garden, put in watering infrastructure and built our house which we finally moved in when our daughter was 6 months old in 1990.
Over the ensuing years we have continued to increase biodiversity on the property and set it up so we can live sustainably, harvesting our own water, electricity and food.
If your lucky you could get a hamper of our product when there is sufficient in season.
With the increased biodiversity you will find that in the mornings and evenings kangaroos and wallabies will visit with the occasional echidna, rabbit and hare; and to forget the large array of bird life - that may wake you early in the morning with the songs.
This campsite is set on lovely grassy open areas interspersed with gum trees. The sunrise looks spectacular near the dam, when the trees give off a lovely glow.
The main paddock has a Geodome, a shared space for relaxing in. With all that space you can park and set up camp anywhere in the paddock.
There is access to drinking water, toilets, and a hot shower.
Around the dome is a firepit, drinking water and a camp kitchen. The firepit features an Argentinian BBQ and a plate for cooking. The kitchen has plates, cups, cutlery, and other bits and pieces for you to use.
