It has flat areas with plenty of free timber for the designated fire pits. I have tried to create a haven for wildlife including Kangaroos, wombats, echidnas and platypus. I cherish the cleanliness of the river and surrounds and wish to be able to share this special environment with others who care to preserve all it offers. You can explore the property along the tracks, paddle, swim or fish in the river, enjoy the fauna, wildlife and birdlife.
Located not far from Braidwood, a town steeped in history, with good shopping, coffee shops and great food.

The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream.
You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water.
The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region.

Our camp grounds are set up on the Clyde's banks, all able to support enough area and access for 2wd, 4wd, RV and Car Camper set ups.
Orange Grove, has a small basic boat ramp (there are public ramps 2mins down the road). With a beach and pontoon, you are able to leave your boat in the river for the duration of your stay. Batemans Bay is 15min down stream, an easy ride to pick up items not found in Nelligen.
Our camp ground has a covered area with BBQ Facilites, tables, chairs, Water, fire pit (used in under the correct conditions), a toilet (Bring own Toilet paper).
We are pet friendly, however we do have wildlife on the property and livestock, so we ask that have full control and take responsibility of your pets.
We always have a presence on the property and have good Telstra coverage, so although you feel a million miles from nowhere you also feel secure.

1. CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property (which we strongly believe should be permitted.
2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. FREE FIREWOOD is available on site.
3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). Please message us in advance for advice if you are concerned about the weather or vehicle access.
4. PETS - Well behaved pets are welcome but must be controlled and cleaned up after.

We are pet friendly, however we do have wildlife on the property and livestock, so we ask that have full control and take responsibility of your pets.

1. CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property (which we strongly believe should be permitted.
2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. FREE FIREWOOD is available on site.
3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). Please message us in advance for advice if you are concerned about the weather or vehicle access.
4. PETS - Well behaved pets are welcome but must be controlled and cleaned up after.

Riverview was just what I was hoping for. I needed a quiet place for my anxious dog to have her first camping trip. We found a perfect spot by the river, next to a fire pit with log seating. A little bit of a trip up the hill to the toilet and shower, for people with mobility problems, I’d set up near the block which has lovely views. The toilet and shower are clean and lovely with plants. Lucy my staffy was in her prime being off lead. I was nervous of her chasing wildlife but she only found a magpie or two and we heard some move away in the bushes. I took her on some beautiful walks but kept her on lead in case of roos or snakes mostly. The camping area is cleared but with plenty of shade. It was perfect really. The swimming beach was as you would expect on a river, smooshy underfoot but refreshing. Do be aware there are oysters on the edges of the beach, worth packing iodine in case your dog cuts its foot (mine didn’t but she ran around the area on occasion).
Highly recommend this place for some peace and quiet!

the site was absolutely absolutely beautiful! very clean and so peaceful. toilet facilities were among the cleanest i’ve experienced at a campsite and the potable water tank was full when we arrived. instructions to get there were also very detailed and helpful, and Matt was very responsive when we were corresponding :) will be coming back!

Karen was very welcoming and helpful from day1. We were given options to choose from different spots as they were available. Campsite itself were levelled and trimmed. Kids enjoyed the farmlamd and open space was just amazing for star gazing.

Darcy and Stacey were very friendly. They were very flexible with where we could set up camp as our site was quite large. Darcy delivered firewood every afternoon and the price was very reasonable. Stacey had complementary veggies from her garden for us. Both came and had a chat with us at the end of the day, making us feel very welcome. They were helpful in letting us know where we could fill our van with water and what attractions were in the area. We are looking forward to camping with them again very soon. Well maintained and easy access to the site although the turn off from the road could be a bit tricky! So close to mogo zone and local beaches and breweries! Lovely hosts the cleanest compostable toilets ever!! A heavy rain storm didn’t stop having a great time.
