Welcome to this remote piece of paradise! Rhapsody is located in Gingkin,, which is not far from Oberon NSW, about 3 hours west of Sydney. Campsites are hidden in a remote valley direct frontage to the pristine Hollanders River, adjoining the Kanangra-Boyd National Park. There are two private campsites on grassy river flats surrounded by eucalyptus forest. The sites are very secluded so you will see lots of wildlife and you're guaranteed not to see any other people! Only one group can stay at each campsite and campsites are on different parts of the river so privacy is guaranteed. In dry conditions 2WD is fine for Wallaby flat but in wet weather, 4WD is required. Platypus flat is 4wd only. You can always park at the top of the hill and walk down first if you're not sure. Dog friendly. Campfires permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Gather your own wood from fallen timber on the way in or BYO wood. Not much firewood available on site. Both campsites can get quite cool as they are low in the valley. This is a wild and remote area. Guided remote bushwalks also available for those who are fit and adventurous. Both campsites have a pit toilets, cold shower, spring water on tap, picnic tables.. Water is sourced from a distant spring in the mountain and is gravity fed to the site by above ground pipe which heats the water during the day. There is a small area where you can get Telstra mobile reception at the cattle grid on the way into the property, but very limited mobile reception in this area. If you are on Optus or other networks you won't get any reception. There is no mobile reception at camp - perfect for disconnecting and reconnecting with nature!

Brazenhead is a 15 minute drive to the closest shops, 20 minutes into Bathurst, 30 minutes from Sofala and 1 hour from the historic Hill End. There is ample space for groups, with wide open spaces but also plenty of trees for shade. Fires are permitted in the spots provided and according to local fire restrictions. The creek is a good spot to try some gold panning, go exploring and also has some deep swimming holes for you to enjoy. Pitch your tent or pull up your camping vehicle next to our creek! You will have complete privacy, only the kangaroos and other wildlife to share your trip with. There is plenty of space for the kids to run around, kick a ball, play some cricket, or go exploring along the creek during the day. In the evenings everyone can sit and relax in the quiet in front of a campfire. We welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. The campsite is 2WD accessible with plenty of room and flat space to camp on. Not far from our property you can find the Bridle Track, which is very well known by 4WD enthusiasts. It was originally built as the first road between Bathurst and Hill End during the gold rush era, and was given its name due to horsemen having to dismount and guide their horses by the bridle through the very narrow sections. If you visit in November you may be here for the annual Marmalade Festival, with good weather, musicians, stalls and of course jams and marmalades! No pets please.

We do not have local shops or fuel stations. The London bus is suitable for children as the upper deck houses the bedroom. The lower deck houses the kitchen and bathroom with a front deck complete with barbecue and amazing views. Relax and watch the kangaroos and eagles from your private deck. Summer swimming in the crystal clear river and winter camp fires where you can toast marshmallows. The lower level has a cooktop "no oven or fridge share fridge at entrance of park", outside gas BBQ and tables. You will need to bring your own drinking water. There is a toilet and shower downstairs. The top deck has two small single beds and one double, quilts and pillows however BYO linen sheets and towels. This bus has featured on many TV shows and is often featured in travel magazines, including on Better Homes and Gardens television in 2013 and in many magazines shoots. Dogs are not permitted. Limited firewood is provided. Firewood can be purchased at $50 for a generous bundle. Damien & Tammie were very welcoming and friendly and happy to have a chat about the history of there property. We had an awesome time at Hatton Airstrip. After a down hill drive to get to the river we were so happy with the beautiful setting. Green grass, flat, right next to the beautiful river and plenty of room as the sites are spread out. Perfect for big group bookings or single/couple bookings. We had Lama's and horses roaming around us also. Peaceful and just perfect. Getting back out was a fun challenge and definately 4wd is a must. We towed our 15' off road caravan and had no problems. Will definately recommend and will be back, 2 nights was not enough👌

We had such a wonderful four days at Watton Airstrip that we decided to stay another four. Tammie and Damo were the most incredible hosts—nothing was ever too much trouble. The road in is definitely 4WD territory, so make sure you air down to around 25 at the check-in point. There are plenty of sites to choose from depending on the experience you’re after. We chose Rivers Edge for the seclusion, and it delivered beautifully. In hindsight, we probably would have enjoyed The Rapids even more as it’s right at the end—but then we might have missed the platypus! Our favourite overall would have to be Hog Heaven, although the solar would have struggled there, and it’s close to Deep Spot, which seems to be popular (so a little less secluded). We were completely solo for four nights with no one around except the horses and llamas. We were lucky enough to see so many animals that others don’t always get the chance to—ducks, llamas, horses, a fox, deer, snake, platypus, emu, kangaroos, wallabies, and even cod in the river. All were a treat to see… although the fox was relentless at night trying to sniff out food! And yes, the flies were next-level—but hey, that’s camping. Phone service is not great, but we had Starlink, so no issues at all (especially handy with a uni assignment due). I was a little stressed thinking about towing the van back out, but Tammie and Damo gave such clear directions that it ended up being fine. I’m already planning the next visit!

There was plenty of open space to setup camp with immediate access to the river. The large property provides a private experience which allows you to relax in your own peace and quiet. Wildwoods is in a beautifully private area in Megalong Valley. It's a bit of a trek through windey dirt roads to get to the Rice Flower campsite but worth the effort. A gorgeous spot that feels like the middle of nowhere with views of the mountain. Claudia respected privacy but was available if needed. Would love to visit again.

We accept caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes and tents to stay at our property. You must be fully self contained (except Site 1). All sites, except for Site 1, are located within the farm. This is not your average campground, and what makes it special is being able to camp in the orchard. Whilst we do our best not to disturb you, the site is in a working farm, with orchard work possible at all hours. Sites, whilst relatively flat have not been levelled and being in a paddock, can be uneven. There are no facilitates, and this includes toilets, access to water or electricity and lights.

The Property La Pinata is circa 161 Ha (400 acres) in size. Altitude of approx 900m. Over half of the land is clear, the land is mostly undulating with some steeper areas. There are 7 paddocks. Stock water is supplied by dams in all paddocks with a permanent Evans Plains Creek that flows through the property which is a wonderful spot for bushwalking. There is also a bore that provides water to our water tanks. The Property also offers a pine forest, which is cooling on hot summer days, and in the colder months, it is a winter wonderland adventure. A perfect part of the property to do many things: picnicking in the wild whilst collecting pinecones, wildflowers or simply admiring the majestic views of the Fitzgerald Valley and the Blue Mountains over a glass of local wine and cheese. The Barn Style Cabin La Pinata, for a unique glamping experience, offers a barn style cabin dwelling with all the comforts of a home but with a rustic cabin experience. A majority of the barn style cabin and its amenities have been built from recycled material, this includes the furniture which is mostly recycled or pre-loved. We are also using off the grid electricity and water supply. It has 7 sleeping rooms with 1 ensuite and 2 Bathrooms. One of the 7 sleeping rooms has a cot. This 1/2 acre site is suitable for small camping stays and campervans. It's dog friendly and has great mobile and 3/4G reception especially for Optus and Telstra. Two wheel drive vehicles can park on the pad just past the entry which is perfectly level or the gravel landing just before the entry which is almost level. The site is in a great location on the last residential block of historic picturesque Rockley in the Central Tablelands (Wiradjuri Country) NSW. Surrounded by nice paddocks remnant bushland screens the site from the no through road (about 5 cars a day) provides shade and brings in birdlife and other animals. You might even see an echidna or koala! On the main street about 10mins walk from Bindari is the Rockley Pub by Matt Moran plus a few other trinket shops. The pub is open Thursday-Sunday and has great pub meals and a good vibe. You can leave your vehicle parked at Bindari and take the short walk through the very pleasant historic village. Different routes there and back make for a nice round trip to explore the scenery of the old gold rush village on foot. The easiest way to get to Bindari at Rockley from Sydney is by taking the Rockley road from Bathurst. From Sydney take the Great Western Highway (A32) up and through the Blue Mountains, a stop in Blackheath works well as it’s about ½ way. Then down the steep Victoria Pass into the Central Tablelands and straight through mostly dual carriageways turning left just before Bathurst onto Rockley Road. The scenic route is lovely and actually shorter but very tricky to navigate with phone reception dropping out and maps behaving strange as you are not taking the ‘main’ road. Add in a few potholes, unmarked road features, wildlife and country drivers coming at you in the opposite direction and there are as many surprises as there are wonders. But if you are a confident driver ready to take it slow when needed you are in for an enjoyable journey. At South Bowenfels, before Lithgow, take the off road at the service station (a good place to do a last check of fuel, tyres etc) and head towards Tarana, a lovely country pub. Next landmark is the O'Connell Hotel then put Rockley into the maps. This should bring you across the country through some amazing views but very tricky driving the first time you do it. So stay sharp (especially at night with wombats, rabbits and roos on the road) and only drive to the road conditions and your experience level.

No one else will be at the property except occasional day maintenance people on a separate driveway to house. The Pool is only OPEN from Dec to April. It is not heated except for the solar blankets. It's a cool climate region so the pool is the warmest for Jan/Feb only. Shallow ends 1m with the middle of pool being 2m deep. 4. You are welcome to use all the outdoor entertaining areas although BBQ, utility room with laundry, toilet, multi purpose sink and very basic kitchenette is an additional cost. 5. We can't guarantee a resort style clean pool as this is a farm and leaves blow in and bugs. It gets serviced twice a week. 6. Whilst the property is 44 acres in total, only a few acres is useable due to the cattle paddocks. 7. No pets. They interfere with cattle and the kangaroos. 8. Optional BBQ, electricity power and optional utility/laundry room with toilet (all additional cost). There's no guarantees we can provide the extras if we aren't given at least a few days notice. Campers that are completely self contained are easier to accept with short notice.

4WD only (clearance of 20cm+ needed). Rocklee is on Wiradjuri land, a short drive from Capertee, surrounded by Gardens of Stone and Capertee national parks and the Mugii Murrum-ban State Conservation Area. Rocklee is 2.5 hours from Sydney and Dubbo. Access is 4wd only. (We’re serious!) Our road has ‘roll overs’, rocks and a couple of tight turns on large gradients) on so you need a vehicle with 20cm+ clearance. If you are towing a camper trailer, you need a good 4wd engine to get back up the hill confidently. Each campsite is a long way from other sites - usually about 800m. Rocklee has a mix of no-longer used paddocks and about 800 acres of untouched bush. You will arrive through the conservation area, which has beautiful pagodas and endless bushwalks. Hipcampers can choose from plenty of space where they'd like to set up camp. Please be careful as some paddocks are overgrown, fences have come down and there are lots of wombat holes, so drive slowly and be careful. There are no amenities here, campers need to be self contained and leave no trace. This means you need to bring water, use exisiting fireplaces and take your rubbish, recycling and compost with you. (You need to bring water from home or elsewhere on the way. Please note you cannot fill up free tap water at Capertee - either at the BP, the picnic area or the pub. It just doesn’t rain enough to fill up the tanks.)
