We had a phenomenal weekend at Matt's land and honestly couldn't fault a thing. The site is genuinely private, you feel like you've got the whole place to yourself, which is exactly what we were after. The setting is beautiful, peaceful, and has that proper "switch off from the world" feeling that's so hard to find these days.
It's clear Matt has put thought into the spot, and it really is the perfect place to pitch up, relax, and enjoy nature without any distractions. Whether you're after a quiet getaway with a partner, a family adventure, or just some time away from screens and city noise, this place delivers.
We left feeling refreshed and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend to any future Hipcampers looking for a private, scenic, no-fuss camping experience. Thanks Matt!

A great secluded spot where we were able to connect with nature and reset. The property is beautiful and even though we had distant neighbours you would never have known. Matt was a great host.

We visited this beautiful spot over Easter and loved it. Clear directions, super helpful and engaging host, place better than described. We enjoyed amazing views, wood for the fire, grateful for a toilet, clear open spaces all to ourselves; had reception which was a treat for friends who arrived late and the tranquility was second to none. Can’t wait to return, especially our dogs who had the best time, even with some drizzle.

Had a wonderful time at Aurora, the stars were amazing and the privacy was unmatched. The host was prompt to reply to any questions and made us feel very welcome on arrival.
Definitely recommend for an off grid escape, make sure to have a 4WD or AWD for the short drive on the private road to the site.

We stayed at The Furthest Reaches Site 2 and thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights there. The campsite is in a beautiful bush setting with a creek in front. The toilet is located closer to Site 1 which is just a short walk away. There was another couple camping on Site 1 but it still felt very private, and they were very friendly when we did cross paths. Matt is an awesome host, very friendly and helpful and a great communicator. He met us at the meeting point at the arranged time and drove with us into the site... All very easy and relaxed. Highly recommend Aurora and Matt

Great spot with fantastic views
Very private . Weather can change very fast
so its good to be prepared. Aurora View is a good flat spot to camp. Our dogs love the freedom to run. Definitely recommend this place

Matt was very friendly and very helpful. Made the whole experience very easy. The camp site itself was great, plenty of space for the 8 cars we had with plenty of space between each camp. And we ordered 2 trailer loads of wood which was already set up near the fire which was amazing saved us having to do that too

We had an amazing weekend on Matt's property. The campsite is very private and surrounded by beautiful views. The kids loved the drive up to the hill top and down to the nearby creek. The drop toilet was clean and well maintained. Will definitely be back.

What an incredible escape! Aurora-Exclusive delivered everything we hoped for and more. Our host was genuinely welcoming and made the check-in process seamless - you can tell they truly care about creating a memorable experience for their guests.
The privacy here is unmatched. It felt like having our own private slice of the Blue Mountains—no direct neighbours, no noise, just surrounded by stunning bushland and those breathtaking escarpment views.
The hut is wonderful - thoughtfully designed and perfectly positioned to make the most of the scenery. It provided the perfect base for our adventure while still feeling connected to nature.
The highlight of each evening was gathering around the campfire under the star-filled sky. There's something magical about sitting by the crackling flames with wombats and kangaroos wandering nearby - it's the kind of authentic Australian bush experience you dream about.
It was amazing that we were allowed to bring our dog! It made this trip complete.

This place is something special ! The 4km 4WD track to the site was a bit of fun. Lots of wildlife to listen to and see. There was a group at the other site nearby, but we had enough privacy and peace. Can’t wait to go back !
