Relax or get involved at The Peachy; an iconic, eco friendly, off-grid animal rescue farm... privately owned and publicly loved! We feed the farm animals and collect the eggs every morning at 8am so set your alarm and join in the fun. Gypsy, your onsite hostess with the mostest, will take you on a fun-filled journey where everyone learns something!
The dam is back in action after the drought and then an invasive weed taking over. There are kayaks here and they are free for everyone to enjoy.
There is a nature playground for the kids, an outdoor bathtub (book with us after you have booked your site $45 or book as a 'camp site'), wood-fired pizza oven (book in the 'extras') and a well equiped community kitchen.
The Peach Farm is centrally located within a 20 minute drive to close by attractions. Adventure; 4 wheel drive at Shark Bay. Swim; Iluka's famous beaches. Walk; Iluka Heritage Rainforest, from the lush rainforest to the amazing views at The Bluff. Explore; Yamba, Angourie, the Scottish town of Maclean.
Our eccentric affectionate mix of farm animals will win you over in seconds especially if you grab some feed from your hosts. All of our loving animals have been rescued as a tiny baby or taken in when their owners could no longer care for them.
Each site has a picnic table and a fire-pit and you can book a camp oven package if you would like to engage in some outdoor cooking. It's fun, relaxing and nothing beats a camp oven stew! Our community kitchen is a hub for get togethers and yarns, well equipped with a gas cooktop, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, a BBQ, fridge/freezer, and plenty of tables. There are fresh herbs and eggs when in plentiful supply. Please use the worm bin for all your kitchen scraps. We have an amazing composting loo but no showers yet.
We are pet friendly however we do ask that you have your best friends on a leash AT ALL TIMES and please do not get too close to the alpacas, they are protectors and will become uneasy and distressed. We strongly believe in 'leaving no trace' so please be mindful of our animals, other happy campers and 'take only memories leave only footprints'.

Need a break from your travel on the road? Treat yourself! The Nature Lodge is a newly built luxe farm stay with private riverfront access for swimming, kayaking or bass fishing. Offering total peace and seclusion but only a short 3 minute drive from the vibrant village of Uki. The Nature Lodge is a fully equipped two bedroom residence which sleeps 4 guests (2 queen beds), sheets and linen included.
Wake up each morning to the sound of the running river and beautiful valley views. At night, soak in our two person outdoor tub whilst counting the stars next to the fire pit.
The Nature Lodge has TV, wifi, a nescafe coffee pod machine, fully equipped kitchen and shower with a wide rain head. There is plenty of space to park your camper, come and enjoy a night or two off the road in relaxed luxury.
Suitable for a romantic getaway, tranquil solo retreat or for families who enjoy getting back to nature.
The campgrounds themselves are located on 27 acres mixed acres lush rainforest, rolling paddocks and river flats, the 1.5 acre campground is a one minute stroll to the banks of the Tweed River providing easy access for kayaking, SUP-ing, bass fishing and swimming or wander the creek bed and keep your eyes peeled for crystals amongst the river stones.
Campsites are set in an open, clean paddock with lush soft grass. All sites are within close proximity to a large all-weather shelter perched high on a hill, equipped with solar festoon lighting, a large timber table with chairs and a firepit which all guests are welcome to use, perfect for BBQing under on a drizzly day or enjoying lunch out of the sun. Campfires are welcome and each site is provided with a private firepit for use. You can purchase hardwood for your fire as an add on if you like which will be waiting for you on arrival.
Animal lovers welcome. The campgrounds are located on a small hobby farm so you'll enjoy sightings of our highland cows, horses, ponies, free ranging ducks and chickens, donkeys and even our neighbours camels. Turtles are often sighted at the river and if you're lucky you may see the local platypus.
You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. We have rainwater available at the shared BBQ shelter but this is not potable. Our property is 2WD accessible (paddock base so at your discretion), and can accommodate caravans, campervans, camper trailers. We recommend the Valley View or Hilltop Sites for larger vans or non 4WD vans for ease of access however all sites are accessible for 4WD vans and campers. In wet weather 4WD are recommended as our grounds are a paddock base.
This site is prefect for families and travellers who enjoy getting back to nature and soaking in the energy at the base of one of the Three Sisters that bounders Mt Wollumbin. Strictly no parties and loud music as this is a family friendly site.

Morinokoe is a 5 acre 'one planet' lifestyle vision, set in the peaceful, secure, rural residential community of Woombah, bordering the Bundjalung National Park and just 5 minutes drive from famous 'Woody Head' camp ground and Iluka's surf beaches.
For paddling and fishing, it's a few hundred metres from a public jetty to the Clarence River and just a few minutes drive to the Esk river (a unique waterway that tracks through the national park). The land itself is 2/3 natural forest, with fruit trees and permaculture inspired garden design and cleared areas with space for parking, playing and camping.
The (two room) caravan is newly renovated with a large outdoor patio area for dining and cooking on your campfire. There is no power supplied to the caravan, but lighting is provided by solar lights around the site. Access to power is provided at the main house.
It's really nice balance between convenience, security (friendly neighbourhood) and accessibility and the peace and quiet of being deep in the forest (where you can walk or ride your bike straight into the national park). Relax around the firepit in the evenings.
There is access to a toilet, shower and drinking water supply. There is a Jamie Oliver grill for cooking at the table, and a fire pit on hand as well. There are basic cooking implements, cutlery and crockery as well as a large green water tank for washing and drinking.
There is a portable toilet now installed outside the caravan for convenience.
The outside shower area is at the main house, and offers some, but not complete privacy.
We have rubbish and composting facilities.

The cabin and property was established in the early 1980’s and lived in for 37 yrs by famous Australian/Californian surfer and writer “Rusty Miller” and family (Rusty Miller was featured most notably in the iconic surf film from 1972 “Morning of the earth”.)
The cabin is located next to the main house of the hinterland property but not attached.
Cabin is private and fully self contained with cozy combustion fireplace for winter, A/C unit and/or fan for summer, fridge, 2 burner gas cooktop, basic kitchen equiped with cooking/dining utensils, tea and coffee provided, hot/cold water, kettle, toaster etc. shower, toilet, laundry and bathroom is seperate to cabin but located just metres away in the homes luandry and second bathroom with external entry door from porch patio. bathroom / luandry may be used by myself and other house member however we do also have another private bathroom in main house for our use. private outdoor hot shower out back of cabin in spa/bar grassed area.
Under cover parking next to cabin for one vehicle (further vehicles can be parked nearby within 10 metres not undercover.) Behind cabin is a private 4 person hot tub/spa under the stars with spa/bar and bbq area and outdoor campfire all for your exclusive use. hot outdoor shower next to spa.
If you care for a short walk down to the creekside tent site then your welcome to enjoy the creek swimming hole n rainforest walk through surrounding areas, this area may also be used by tent campers if they are here.
There is a fruit orchid with mostly citris and some tropical fruits which may or may not be ripe depending on time of year which your welcome to pick and enjoy, all this is a few hundred metres walk from the cabin. fresh farm eggs can be supplied free of charge.
The cabin is best suited to couples who want to explore byron shire for surfing, horse riding, food and culture or perhaps just site seeing and then have a quiet relaxing private space to come back to after a day out, or would also suit couples with up to 2 children (under 12.) (cabin is only 8x6 metres so not a huge indoor space for 2 kids and 2 adults but loads of space outside to enjoy!) 2 kids under 12 are allowed and pull out single bed mattresses and bedding is provided upon request.
families can enjoy a relaxing hobby farm experience n see the horses, collect fresh duck and chicken eggs, possibly spot a koala as we get them often, heaps of possums and other native wildlife passing by to see and hear.
Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches.
Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches. Board racks for surf boards provided.
National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request. The 4 person hot tub/spa out back of cabin is lovely under the stars and moonlight after a big day out exploring the area of Byron shire.
Delicious home cooked meals can be provided delivered to the cabin for additional costs please enquire. I enjoy gourmet game meat farm style cooking and Italian cooking, I have a history of working in commercial kitchens as a cook.
other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices.
Feel free to ask me any questions and happy to share more information on the home and local sites and attractions worth visiting. The cabin and property has a very peaceful vibe to it with birds whistling, horses neighing, koalas grunting, possums growling and my cheeky rooster will probably start crowing at 6am ;) but he is a few hundred metres away so not too loud for a sleep in! 30 minutes to either Ballina or Coolangatta (Gold Coast) airport. Take a direct shuttle bus to the drop off point at Uncle Tom’s Pie shop where you either cross the road to the property or we can come and meet you and your luggage and offer you a ride to the Barn.
