Hi, an update: please note that due to roadworks in Mullumbimby, the Council is diverting southbound traffic out of that town along Myocum Rd, thus there will be increased traffic at commute times. Your campsite is on a grassy knoll of Myocum Farm with sweeping views of farmland and the Byron lighthouse in the distance. You will be the sole visitors and thus have all the space and amenities to yourself. Your onsite amenities include: a firepit with benches and table, bbq plates, free kindling, firewood available to buy, a hot private outdoor shower, your own flushing toilet, a tap and handsoap, a bucket and hose, bins for recycling and rubbish, a swing, and a small cubbyhut with board games and a bocce and cricket set. Please note our rates are very competitive and cover 3 visitors in our base rate. During your stay you can just kick back and relax overlooking the farm which produces beef cattle and fingerlimes, but with the convenient distance to towns and beaches, you can also use it as a base to very easily explore all the region has to offer: Byron Bay and Bangalow (15 mins), Brunswick Heads (10 mins), and Mullumbimby (6 mins), all offering great dining, local market, and retail experiences. the area has a plethora of activities to pursue: swimming, walking, fishing, great surfing, sea kayaking, ballooning, skydiving, horseriding, golf (eg renowned Ocean Shores golf club is 20 minutes away), and the wonderful rail trail for bikers or walkers can be accessed at Mooball, a picturesque 20 min drive away or try out the new mountain bike trail at the vey pretty township of Uki in the hinterland. Beautiful waterfalls are less than a half hour drive away. There are local businesses who can help you pursue these kinds of activities if you don't bring your own equipment.

It is home to a range of beef cattle breeds including Scottish Highlanders who love to be fed carrots, Dexter, miniature black Galloways, and Belted Galloways, or, all known collectively as the pets. The property is located close to Nimbin and Lismore and less than an hour to Byron, Ballina, and several National Parks. It's a relaxing, convenient base camp from which to explore this beautiful region. The farm has lots of walks across flats and up hills for amazing views. You can be as active or as still as you like here. you can choose from several lovely spots in the paddocks to set up camp. Dont forget to bring carrots to feed Ruby, the Highland cow or Brownie the bull. Mooka our old charolais loves a cuddle while she is being fed carrots. Jan was an absolutely exceptional host. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The property itself was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and presented with genuine care. But what truly set our stay apart was the level of service Jan provided. She went above and beyond in every possible way. Not only did she make us feel welcome, she made us feel genuinely at home. Her warmth, attentiveness, and generosity were unmatched. One of the standout moments of our stay was the way she embraced our animal-loving daughter’s enthusiasm. Jan took the time to introduce her to her beautiful herd and even made sure she had the opportunity to hand-feed the friendliest of the animals. It was a memory our daughter will treasure forever. Jan's hospitality wasn’t just good, it was exceptional, heartfelt, and unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend her or her stunning property more highly. We left feeling grateful, refreshed, and already eager to return. My husband works remotely but with offices in the area, we will be back for sure and certain.

We so enjoyed our 3 nights at the farm. Allan and Ngaire are very welcoming. This place is above and beyond what is expected at a Hipcamp. Hot shower with a view and immaculately clean toilet facilities, fire pits benches to enjoy the view. Well kept lawn. Views everywhere. We had heaps of space. We will be back for sure.

Gorgeous spot, so peaceful and with incredible views. The toilet, outdoor shower and playroom are fantastic. My 4 year old spent most of her time in there, and the hosts even put out pictures for her to colour in which we so appreciated. All this plus the bonus swing, fire pits and benches. We are planning our return trip already, honestly couldn’t fault it. Highly recommend!

Jan took my husband and I around the grounds and introduced us to her highland cows which I got to feed it was a dream that is now ticked off the list we will definitely be back in February and can’t wait thanks again

We loved our stay at this campsite! The views were beautiful, and the host was fantastic, even brought over his lovely dog Rosie for us to meet, which was such a nice touch. The toilet and shower under the stars setup was great and really convenient. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended!

Sites were huge with great access for caravans, toilets were clean with plenty of toilet paper, rubbish & recycling bins provided, access to the river was challenging but overall a great camp site & will definitely return to enjoy this camp site again

Lovely campsite with lots of room and great ambience. The creek is great for a swim and very dog friendly. Wal the dog was a great companiona al well One thing that would make it even better is if the gate at the entrance to Windmill was a bit lower on one side so it made it a bit harder for the dogs to wander near the road. All in all a lovely weekend!

We just love that spot. It's our 2nd visit. The view to the easrern pasture with cows and calves playing, the morning sun and evening lighthouse rays. Allan and Nyhree are as kind as they come. And 20.muns away from Byron and the beach. Great spot.

Wonderful night stay! Despite being reasonably close to Allan’s house, it was so private and quiet. Love the swing, picnic table, and cubby house, but the selling point was the HOT shower under the stars! 🤩 Such a calming place to unwind overlooking the cow paddocks and mountains.
