Hidden Valley is on 26 acres with frontage to Grady's Creek (the creek is our front boundary) and our back boundary is a goods train line, the train occasionally gives a toot to campers. We offer general camping, an area for tents and swags and we welcome custom group bookings. We have two amenities blocks (six toilets and six hot showers). Firewood and ice available for purchase. Hidden Valley is a dog friendly camping ground. However, it is the responsibility of the owner/s to keep their dog/s controlled at all times and on leashes, for all campers to enjoy their stay. There is no Local Council rubbish removal services available, so please take all your rubbish with you on departure. Facilities for recycling of cans and scraps is available. Please note that the Brisbane to Sydney goods train is nearby. Times vary according to supplies to port and the train may be heard from the campsite.

It is home to a range of beef cattle breeds including Scottish Highlanders who love to be fed carrots, Dexter, miniature black Galloways, and Belted Galloways, or, all known collectively as the pets. The property is located close to Nimbin and Lismore and less than an hour to Byron, Ballina, and several National Parks. It's a relaxing, convenient base camp from which to explore this beautiful region. The farm has lots of walks across flats and up hills for amazing views. You can be as active or as still as you like here. you can choose from several lovely spots in the paddocks to set up camp. Dont forget to bring carrots to feed Ruby, the Highland cow or Brownie the bull. Mooka our old charolais loves a cuddle while she is being fed carrots. This 6-acre property is located on the outskirts of the beautiful Burringbar Village. There are 4 campsites available, 3 are located in the creek paddock and 1 in the Orchard. The sites are located near a quiet country no-through road. Sites are all fairly level, best to bring levellers if you require it dead level;) The village is an easy walk, ride, or drive away (just over 1 km). Great location for camping and enjoying nature. Loads of birdlife and if you are lucky enough, you might get a glimpse of a platypus in the creek or Koalas as we have a Koala corridor on our property & also Wallabies. The Northern Rivers Rail Trail is nearby and is great for walking and bike riding. Wooyung and Pottsville Beaches are less than 15 minute's drive. The townships of Murwillumbah and Brunswick Heads are also only 15 minute's drive away. The village of Burringbar is only 30 minutes from Byron Bay and or the Gold Coast. In the village itself there are options for food, drink and entertainment, with a General store, Post office, Thai restaurant, Natural Wine Shop, Coffee Shops, Pharmacy, Butcher, Cheese factory, and Sports Club . And only 4 kilometres away in the nearby village of Mooball, there is the famous Moo moo Roadhouse for meals, coffee and fuel, and the also historic Victory Hotel for further food and drink options. Base yourself on this lovely property and explore the beautiful Northern Rivers Region and all it has to offer. This is a quiet and peaceful camp ground and is suited to people wishing to enjoy the serenity of nature. It is not suitable for large groups or those wishing to party on. We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin National Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches. Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers. There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements. Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, pending there are no fire restrictions. We can supply seasoned firewood at competitive rates. Friendly pets are welcome, we also have dogs on the property.

Stayed for 3 nights at Kates property and it was great. We had the area to ourselves and stayed in front of the bamboo area facing the road so we got full max of the sun for our solar. Was not an issue facing the road side at all. Welcomed on arrival by Kates husband (sorry, forgot his name). Like others have mentioned, firewood & firepit supplied and even down to fire starters! Communication with Kate was excellent. 40 minute drive to Tweed Heads so location is pretty good. Will definitely be back if we need a getaway from the Gold Coast or see another show in Tweed Heads.

Jan was an absolutely exceptional host. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully considered. The property itself was immaculate, beautifully maintained, and presented with genuine care. But what truly set our stay apart was the level of service Jan provided. She went above and beyond in every possible way. Not only did she make us feel welcome, she made us feel genuinely at home. Her warmth, attentiveness, and generosity were unmatched. One of the standout moments of our stay was the way she embraced our animal-loving daughter’s enthusiasm. Jan took the time to introduce her to her beautiful herd and even made sure she had the opportunity to hand-feed the friendliest of the animals. It was a memory our daughter will treasure forever. Jan's hospitality wasn’t just good, it was exceptional, heartfelt, and unforgettable. We couldn’t recommend her or her stunning property more highly. We left feeling grateful, refreshed, and already eager to return. My husband works remotely but with offices in the area, we will be back for sure and certain.

Jan the host was absolutely amazing we couldn’t have asked for a better experience, from the grounds to the cattle and the peace and serenity it was a weekend never to forget. Jan took my husband and I around the grounds and introduced us to her highland cows which I got to feed it was a dream that is now ticked off the list we will definitely be back in February and can’t wait thanks again

Truly felt so welcomed by Jan she is just wonderful & felt so privilliged to camp on such a beautiful property with just gorgeous views.
