Bush walking in the Spring Gully National Park is just down the road and within 2klms is the Armagh to Spring Gully trail.
Our neighbours include the fabulous Eldridge Wines, one of Clare Valleys best. Close by are many more fabulous wineries and one of the best Gin Distillers (in our opinion) in the Mid North, Sawmill Gin. The local taxi service is very accommodating and happy to come out to Seven Sisters, they will also ferry you to wineries in the area.

Once on the property there are 3 sites on our farm road with a 4th site set at the back of the property which is very secluded. All sites have seasonal fire pits.

We are a Poll Merino sheep stud and a wheat/barley cropping farm at Emu Downs in the Mid North of SA. We have resurrected this character old workers quarters which we've turned into a rustic, peaceful abode for you to enjoy.
Sleeps four (double bed, single bed and old miners couch,). BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING. There is a flushing external toilet and a bush shower (ie: a shower bag, provided).
The room with the open fire can be utilised as a kitchen/living area. We've provided crockery, cutlery, glasses, kettles and a camp oven. There is running cold rainwater into the sink. Cooking can be done on the open fire, or use the small camp gas cookers. There is also a gas BBQ in the outdoor room. If you are really brave, try your hand at camp oven cooking in the campfire. There is no power, only lighting provided from a small solar panel/battery.
Extra guests welcome in tents, swags or vans adjacent to the cottage. To ensure only one group of campers at a time, THE COTTAGE HAS TO BE BOOKED FIRST, then book the extra campers through the additional campsites listing.
Eckert's Old Place is within an easy drive to the Clare Valley wine regions and historic Robertstown, Burra and Eudunda.

Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail.
The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, so dogs on leashes at all times, and please pick up after them. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy!
There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes.
Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh.
There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock
and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet.
Great Hotels/pubs to dine in at Tarlee and Riverton. Emporium cafe for the best coffee in Riverton

There is a shared basic long drop toilet located near the south site but feel free to bring self contained units or find a nice tree!
The campsites are located at the top of the hills in a pasture paddock so please make sure your dogs are on leashes at all times. The 2 sites are separated by a fair distance so there is plenty of room to enjoy for everyone even with large groups. A perfect spot to pitch a tent and admire the beautiful starry nights on the secluded hilltop
The Clare and Barossa Valleys are only a short 45 minute drive away if you’re interested in a day out at the wineries. Or the lovely historic town of Burra is a 30 minute drive. The campsite is also conveniently located on the lavender trail which provides great scenery walks or cycles taking in the amazing view.
There is a great Pub located in Robertstown which has cold beer and meals on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights if you are looking to get out of cooking for the night. The post office is also a great spot to duck in for a coffee and a chat to the locals.
Whether it’s the breathtaking sunrise, the stargazing, the walking trails or bumping into a friendly kangaroo or 2 this campsite will not disappoint.

Burra Creek Camping in Bright is an incredibly beautiful, rustic 5000-acre property, situated 25km North of Robertstown, just over 2 hours from Adelaide.
It's suited to those with 4x4 or higher clearance vehicles, and off-road campers/caravans and tents. The camping sites here are very private, and provide large flat areas to set up. All have beautiful surroundings and views.
The land here is spectacular. From morning light accompanied by birdsong, to days spent exploring the creek and the bush, to stargazing and toasting marshmallows by night, the land here offers the perfect antidote to modern-day stresses. There is (wonderfully) limited phone service here, meaning it's the perfect place for a digital detox!
Two of our campsites have very basic outback long drop toilets (Wombat Flat and Creek Site), but for all other sites, campers need to be fully self-contained. It's you and nature. Therefore we ask that you please ensure the place is left as or better than you found it. All rubbish and waste to be taken with you.

Avondale is a working family farm located perfectly between both the beautiful Clare Valley and picturesque Barossa. Located approximately 11 kms from Riverton and an hour north of Adelaide.
Our campground consists of 6 designated van sites with a central fire pit. Individual fire buckets and wood can be provided at an extra charge ($25). Our camping sites are located in a picturesque tree lined gully. A precious slice of untouched beauty. Please don’t help yourself to our trees (no chainsaws).
As we are a working farm, with sheep and alpacas surrounding the campsite, dogs must remain on lead at all times. It is also dog owners responsibility to cleanup after their pets. Please also remain on designated tracks to walk along. Views of sunsets from the top of the hill are breathtaking. Please also always leave gates as you find them.
The local council district provides cafes, amazing pub food (our personal favourite, The Tarlee Hotel), bakeries and push bike tracks. Not to mention wineries.

The location is very private with some of the best views of any campsite we have been to- looking SW towards Port Wakefield and the cropping area west of Clare and it’s so close to the Seven Hills wine region. The free firewood and provision of fire pit was really appreciated.

We camped at Ewe Beauty.

Eckert’s Old Place is an amazing, rough and rustic little stone hut for those who want to feel like they’re living in the 1880’s but still have a toilet

We could not recommend this camp highly enough!
The hosts were very responsive in the booking process and directions to the site very clear.
Trish was extremely welcoming on our arrival and Peter kindly delivered firewood to our site.
The scenery was stunning and we wouldn’t have known we were staying on someone’s property.
We can’t wait to return and will tell our family and friends about this fantastic Hipcamp!

We had a wonderful time here! The weather was cold and foggy but that did not stop us from sitting outside by the large fire pit ! And we had plenty of wood supplied to be warm and cosy inside this was the perfect weekend getaway.

I had an amazing time this weekend at Wombats Flat. We loved being able to switch off and escape reality for a couple of nights.
Trish’s directions on how to find the property were super easy to follow, and there were so many different sites to choose from.
We will definitely be back again with a few more people next time. It was very cool seeing all the wombat burrows around the place. Unfortunately, we didn’t spot a wombat this time, but that just gives us a reason to come back!

We loved our stay at Edgehill Farm. Our caravan is only small so having use of the Shepherd’s Hut gave us more room to spread out and the log fire was perfect for the chilly nights. The Sunset Baa didn’t disappoint with some glorious sunsets and a view over the valley. Our hosts, Trish & Peter, were very friendly & very accommodating during our stay. We will be back to try out one of their other sites on the Farm. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet stay with great views.

Absolutely stunning, peaceful piece of paradise. Perfect for digital detox. Spent two nights at camp, went for hikes and completely de-stressed.
Plenty of fire wood lying around, Trish and Peter were awesome to deal with giving great instructions and photos where needed for ease of access.
Highly recommend, will definitely be back time and again.
