In a great area, with lovely views, close to wineries and local attractions. Access to the Reisling Trail, Gateway to the Clare Valley Wine Region. Nice level sites under big gum trees. Easy access with turn around area, right off the highway. No access to the cottage at this stage, but free access to the decks. Pets welcome - must be kept close by as stock may be close. In a great area, with lovely views, close to wineries and local attractions. Access to the Reisling Trail, Gateway to the Clare Valley Wine Region. Camping in Clare

The Cottage at Undalya (Auburn SA)
We loved camping at the cottage at undalya. The sheep were fun for the kids to see and the spot is conveniently close to wineries. Could have helped to have a bit of signage on the date to assist identifying the entry

Camping with Mr Ram
We loved our camp in the back corner. The paddock was nothing like we expected, just a bare sheep paddock with a few trees. But we loved it, we had Mr Ram join us, and it felt like we had the entire world to ourselves.

Literally on side of the hide way . NOISE level from cars is 9/10 Free camp down the road is similar. We rocked up on a rainy and windy day so could seek shelter on the patio at the cottage. Once we rocked up people’s toilets, showers and tents were set on in the balcony . No space to seek shelter. Mornings are nice there until cars start driving past again . People with hard shell caravan would be okay there. Less noise for them.

An east stop over point for visiting the Clare area. Nice deck to sit on to escape the heat on a hot day.

Offgrid campsite to explore Clare
30 ft travel trailer ·
The Cottage at Undalya (Auburn SA)
Site is about 4km south of Auburn, so a good base to explore Auburn, Leasingham and Watervale (can recommend the hotel there). Clare is 30 mins away too. Access is from Kelly Rd, though site is adjacent to Horrocks Highway. Is a very pleasant campsite amongst the gumtrees, with farm views, for those who like to be offgrid and out of the way. Would stay again, 2nd time to Clare this year, and love the place.
