The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will either be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. If all are full you can park your van either on the paddock across the road or at the rear of the carpark (below the gravelled bays). It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. During holiday season we have a second campsite opened, which has lovely amenities, too. We regularly have abseilers come down our creek, as a set of 7 waterfalls is only a 60-minute hike through the creek away. It is a stunning place for relaxation. With limited phone reception. The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will either be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. If all are full you can park your van either on the paddock across the road or at the rear of the carpark (below the gravelled bays). It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. Great campsite by the river, the site was super well kept with clean toilets and enough activities for families to come along with kids and keep them entertained. The generosity of Rick and Cheryl was outstanding. My partner and I felt safe and was greatly appreciated of the hospitality. Firewood was offered once arrived and sites were clearly marked, with supplied fire pits. Weekend Trip to Bundilla River Camp
We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Bundilla site 2 with power, it was a spacious grassy site close to toilets and river access. The river is amazing to swim and kayak in and was very refreshing and a great temperature! Kayaks are provided free of charge which is fantastic. The toilets are spotless and clean and we appreciated the herb garden which you are welcome to pick from. There are small fire pits for use at the camp site. Rick and Cheryl were both friendly and helpful and we'd love to visit again one day.

Peaceful, no internet, no humans. Completely isolated and offgrid. Plenty on water in the river for a swim. Easy access for a small/medium van up to approx 19 foot. Conveyor belt in the distance was no issue. A peaceful get away. Doing it again.

My friends and I (and our two dogs) had the best weekend camping at Clyde River at Ross and Lisa's property. The camping sites are very well kept, the areas nice and tidy, the space between campers is great too. Sites are flat so easy and suitable for setting up swags and tents. The toilet and shower facilities are very well clean and everything was provided. The location is perfect, we were able to get the boats in and out easily with the boat ramp on site. Highly recommend and we cant wait to come back!

Fabulous place. So much space that no matter how many people are camping you still have plenty of room. A couple of toilets and a shower were an added bonus. Alana was looking after the property while the owners were away and did an exceptional job. She visited everyone to check if we needed anything a few times a day. She was particularly happy to visit us because we had our Newfoundland Gracie with us 😊We will definitely visit again. Also love that it is only 25 minutes from home 😀

Andrew Drynan Park is situated on Running Creek, 47 km south of Beaudesert and 19 km from Rathdowney on the Lions Road. The drive from Brisbane will take a couple of hours. It has an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee. Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent. Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east. Campers & Day Trippers Rules: The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park. By using this park you agree to the following rules. All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed limit. Fires must be extinguished prior to departure. Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish. It must be taken with you! The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem! Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set up on top of other campers. Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of 2pm to 6pm. Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all times. No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users. No antisocial behavior. No camping on creek banks. No playing around toilet block area. No livestock to be kept on the park. No cutting down trees. No person to travel in the load area of vehicles. No motorcycles other than on the formed roads or when moving between your campsite and the road. No stock whips, firearms or weapons of any sort, chainsaws, drones or fireworks allowed in the park. No use of detergents, soaps or shampoos in creek. No washing dishes or clothing in creek. No hitting of Golf balls. No cricket with cricket ball (tennis ball ok). No swings to be tied to trees. Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for trespassing. Park management reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to and use of the park. I moved here from Sydney in 1987. In that time I have seen many changes. I have come to love the Bungawalbin and have formed a very real bond with the whole area and have learnt so much in the journey. Like most parts of the East Coast the land has been badly managed since European invasion in the way of logging, grazing, farming and burning practices that have degraded the diversity of what was once possibly the most diverse part of Australia. The bush is resilient but there is a limit to what it can withstand and I fear this precious wetlands is disappearing fast. 5 years ago bushfires devastated the whole forest leaving very little undamaged and it is still struggling to recover. Then catastrophic flooding in 2022 destroyed the homestead. The property offers spacious, private campsites in a natural and tranquil setting. Bush walking and birdwatching are a must, or just relaxing by the billabong may reward you with a wildlife encounter. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.
