On arrival you get to choose your own unpowered spot. You then set up camp. The caretaker will check you in at the spot you have chosen towards the end of the day. Misty Mountain Campgrounds is suitable for tent campers, caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes.. PLEASE NOTE - Children aged between 3 and 15 are booked under Child Rates, Children 2 and under are Free and do not have to be booked in. Hold it Flats is a 120 acre property that borders the beautiful O'Connell River that has water all year round. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property. There is nice shady trees, green grass and flat camping sites right beside the river with hot showers and flushing toilets. There is plenty of room and some great tracks for the kids and the big kids to ride their push bikes on. The swimming hole is about 2 meters deep and has big shady trees on the edge. There is also enough room for kids to bring their kayaks and have a paddle along the river. We have some hiking tracks up around the hills of our property that have amazing views of the area. All campsites can be provided with their own fire pit. You just pick your spot and we will bring a portable fire pit to you. Fire wood can be purchased at the property. All rubbish must be taken when you, there are no rubbish bins provided.

Andrew Drynan Park is situated on Running Creek, 47 km south of Beaudesert and 19 km from Rathdowney on the Lions Road. The drive from Brisbane will take a couple of hours. It has an impressive backdrop formed by Mt Chinghee. Running Creek is a lovely flowing creek which is very inviting in summer and the park offers a great bush camp. Toilets, BBQs, picnic tables and swimming. BYO drinking water. Pets to be restrained. No showers—a dip in the creek will keep you clean but please don’t use soap or detergent. Directions: At Rathdowney, turn left into Running Creek Rd and travel approximately 17km south east. Campers & Day Trippers Rules: The Park is for everyone to enjoy, so please adhere to a few simple guidelines while enjoying this beautiful park. By using this park you agree to the following rules. All vehicles entering the park must observe 10 Km per hour speed limit. Fires must be extinguished prior to departure. Park users must clean up their area when leaving, by taking all rubbish, including food scraps and disposable nappies with them, so the next users can enjoy the Park as well. Do not burn your rubbish. It must be taken with you! The disposal of nappies in the grass around the waterline, and in fire pits, is a serious risk to human health, the health of the creek, surrounding stock and the ecosystem! Please be respectful of other camper’s space & privacy! Do not set up on top of other campers. Generator use is restricted to 4 hours per day between the hours of 2pm to 6pm. Dogs must be on short leads and confined to your campsite at all times. No music or noise after 10pm, noise level must at all times be at an acceptable level so as not to disturb other users. No use of detergents, soaps or shampoos in creek. No washing dishes or clothing in creek. No hitting of Golf balls. No cricket with cricket ball (tennis ball ok). No swings to be tied to trees. Anyone who is non-compliant may be directed by park management to leave the park and if so must leave without delay. Non-compliance will be referred to local Police and you may face legal action for trespassing. Park management reserves the right to refuse anyone entry to and use of the park. We’re pet-friendly! Please note, however, that we are a working farm with ongoing activities and resident animals, including livestock and farm dogs, so all pets must be kept under control at all times. Aggressive, disruptive, or potentially dangerous dogs of any type are not allowed — especially restricted breeds (e.g. Pit Bulls, Bull Mastiffs). Only friendly dogs are permitted, and we reserve the right to ask you to leave if your dog is deemed unsafe or aggressive upon arrival. If you have any doubts, please message us prior to booking. Also, please ensure kids are supervised at all times, particularly around the river. Lifejackets are recommended. During your time here, visit the local farm gates in Tumut, Batlow, Tumbarumba, and Adelong for their delicious high-country produce. Unpowered sites can choose anywhere suitable for them. We do have internet reception. Occasionally reception can be weak depending on what the network is doing. Generally, it is not a problem. Bring Mosquito/sandfly spray especially if camping by the lake. Campfires allowed. Wood for sale, $15 cash per milk crate, from caretaker Dylan. Please return crates to camp kitchen for re-filling. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration. Dog friendly. Simple composting/drop toilet available.

Located minutes off the A1 it's the perfect spot to stop overnight or for a few days to see all the Coffs Coast has to offer. Beautiful camping on pristine grasslands that back onto the Bongil Bongil National Park. Cows with Guns MTB park and Sawmill are close by as well. Enjoy the splendid views or walk through the bush which, also has the biggest tree in the area. With fishing available and plenty of horse trails around, there is plenty to do. Bore water is available on-site.

Oberon Showground offers casual camping on gently sloping sites. Campers will have access to the amenities block with toilets and showers. Power is available and water is available Fires only in solid FIRE PITS The showground is located in the heart of Oberon, a small rural community located just 2.5 hours from Sydney. Situated on a plateau at a height of 1130m above sea level, Oberon is on the western fall of the Blue Mountains. Enjoy the nearby spectacular scenery, Jenolan Caves, alpine lake, Mayfield and other fabulous cool climate gardens. The showground is a short walk to shops and restaurants, pubs and clubs. The Visitors information Centre is conveniently just across the road. Pets welcome on leash at all times. Dump point available on Lowe’s Mount Road - please don’t use the showground amenities!

So happy to have this quiet camp among the trees in Byfield on a busy long weekend. Richard was great to communicate with and provided a mud map for location. We really appreciated the tap with creek water, the drinking water and fireplace provided. Camp loo an added bonus. Lovely rainforest walk to a creek and kayaks for the adventurous. Site best for self contained campervans/motorhome/tent/camper trailers.

Such a nice, peaceful little spot, I stayed an extra night. During Easter Holidays it was very busy with families but there’s plenty of space to spread out. Most of the site is on a hill so bring chocks. The creek is lovely for a little dip. Grass is all well maintained, plenty of fire pits. No showers, dump sites or bins - take your own rubbish. 5G available. Toilets were always clean. Staff on site were so friendly, shout out to Dan ☺️

Absolute gem of a campsite. Stunning location, plenty of choices of sites to camp, very well signposted and fantastic amenities. Good quality firewood and kindling available for a must do fire at a reasonable price. Peter & the care taker were lovely to deal with. The starry skies are awesome and the local pub in Uki was fun! Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing experience at this campsite. The views were absolutely breathtaking, it truly felt like being in paradise. The kayaking and the Misty Dam were incredible highlights of our stay. The peacefulness and silence of the made it even more special. The gaming room was also really fun and a great addition. Just a couple of small suggestions for improvement: it would be better if the tissues in the bathroom were stored in a cabinet to keep them clean and hygienic. Also, the council rubbish bin was a bit far from the camping area having one closer would be very helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place!

We had a fantastic stay at Bushywood Lakeside Camping. The sites are spacious and not too close to your neighbour with plenty of room to relax. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. The amenities were fantastically —clean toilets, a hot shower, and kayaks on the lake free to be used a little slide. Very family friendly, or great for groups. There's also lovely walks around the camp ground. 2WD accessible down gravel roads. We were all so impressed! Would definitely recommend a stay here!!

I loved everything about. The mountain views were great, me and my friends even kayaked for a bit. The composting toilets itself were great - when we first got there they were pritine clean, no smells at all. However, it would be amazing if people didn't pee outside of the toilet itself - so the smell you might experience is just due to people's lack of hygene. There were plenty of designated spots to make a fire. Again, stunning views, such a peaceful spot, we were lucky enough to have a clear sky. It was incredible.

We had the most amazing time camping at Hold It Flats! Being surrounded by nature was just what we needed, peaceful, beautiful, and the perfect place to unwind. The kids absolutely loved it and didn’t stop swimming and playing the entire time! When I asked them to rate the trip from 1–10, they said… 1000! 😄 That pretty much says it all. We had such an amazing stay at Mount Surround 10/10 stay. The caretakers were incredibly lovely and welcoming. We stayed in an unpowered site for 2 nights (wanted to stay longer). We loved that you could pick your own campsite location, it made the experience feel more relaxed and personal. The sites are huge giving us plenty of space for our tents, gazebos, cars, and even a fire area without feeling crowded. The amenities were beautiful and very clean, The BBQ / Camp kitchen was well set up with everything needed. It was such a nice space to relax and spend time with the family. The campgrounds themselves were well maintained, clean, and well cared for. The views were absolutely beautiful, and the whole place had such a relaxing atmosphere. Loved that the grounds were dog-friendly—we brought our three dogs and they had the best time! We enjoyed swimming and kayaking in the dam, and there were great tracks to walk around and explore the grounds. On top of all that, it was such a reasonable price for such a great stay, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it was a really peaceful and enjoyable getaway, and we would definitely come back again soon!
