Devils Lake State Park

Wisconsin's biggest state park is about 3 miles south of Baraboo. It boasts a 360-acre lake with a no-fee boat launch at each end
(electric motors only). The park's concession areas are happy to rent you a boat or canoe. Devils Lake offers swimmers two beautiful beaches totaling 3,300 feet in length.
The year-round park contains 29 miles of hiking trails of varying length. Enjoy magnificent vistas from 500-foot quartzite bluffs, forested woods, and meadows. 4 miles of off-road bike trails, rock climbing, and multiple picnic areas keep everyone happy.
Devils Lake is a popular haunt for SCUBA divers and anglers. The lake is home to brown trout, walleye, and northern pike, bass and panfish. In winter, ice fishing's the rage here.
