Back in the good ol’ days, Hillsborough Country developed this site as one of its largest regional parks. And with that kind of space comes room for just about everything you can imagine under the sun. They even made sure there was plenty of paved trails for some quality inline skating to be had!

Fast-forward to today, and Edward Medard Park remains a vibrant destination, with over 500,000 visitors annually. Bike, skate (still!), post up for a night or a few in a tent or RV, hop on your horse and gallop into the sunset, and hike on oodles of roads and trails. But most of all make sure to set aside a special piece of time for the main attraction, 700-acre Edward Medard Reservoir. Wanna get close but not in the water? Check out the 730-foot pier/boardwalk from which you can cast a line. Castaway to Edward Medard Park--and let us know what kind of trouble you end up getting into!
