Just east of Tampa sits a pleasant grove of trees surrounding a 700-acre lake.
Gaze upon beautiful sunsets at this 700-acre reservoir. Hillsborough County and Plant City transformed a former mining site into a recreational and flood-control area. Cast your line for catch-and-release fishing.
The 3-mile loop trail around the lake welcomes hikers, equestrians, and birdwatchers. The pine flatwoods and hardwood hammocks harbor plenty of wildlife to see. Be sure to bring your binoculars if you're looking for birds.
