Recently refurbished by the good people of Colorado State Parks and U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, even someone that’s seen it all will appreciate what Paonia State Park has to offer.

Park features include gorgeous alpine scenery, abundant wildflowers and a pristine lake resting in between steep mountainsides. Campers can nap by a babbling brook, browse wildlife instead of the internet or even water ski on the mountain reservoir. Open season is May through early September.
