in Hart's Trail Camp, LLC, MichiganWe loved our stay here. Peaceful campground that was very quiet at night, spotlessly clean and well stocked camper. We were in town for a friend's wedding, and it was the perfect place to rest in between our busy itinerary. Wonderfully centrally located spot, it seemed like anything we wanted to do was within 5-20 minutes in either direction. We would definitely stay here again.
CG02 - Large Campsite - 4000 ft el
in Sequoia Mountain Farms, CaliforniaWe absolutely loved our stay. We had a slight issue at checkin where our site had not been mowed at our arrival time, but Andrew was extremely accommodating and let us know which other sites were available, and we were able to choose from those. This issue was resolved so quickly and we were so happy with the outcome.
We ended up staying at site 27, which was pretty private and also a short walk from the facilities. It was great to have hot water showers, flush toilets and a communal sink to wash dishes. We thought it was a really nice touch that there were maps, field guides and other up to date local information posted. There's almost no cell service in the whole area, but the wifi was pretty solid most of the time to get text messages through and pull up maps for day trips nearby.
We were in awe of the sunsets and wildflowers.
I do think it might feel a lot less private, more of a lively family campground when fully booked. We would still stay and enjoy it but it would be a different experience for sure.
We would definitely come back another time, either way.
Fern Ridge Flats - Private Camping
in Fern Ridge Flats - Private Camping, CaliforniaWe loved Matt's site. We slept peacefully, and were thankful for running water and a clean toilet. We saw an arboreal salamander and banana slugs at night, and during the day lots of woodpeckers and stellar's jays.
Matt was friendly and helpful. We would definitely visit again, and wished we were there for a longer stay.
