We love staying at the coyote cabin. This place has it all. Big open field for the kids to play, plenty of space for campers or tents. They recently added a water spigot which was nice for cleaning up but Barb and Terry took it a step further and added a small solar panel/inverter setup. This adds lighting and a few outlets to the already awesome experience. We will be back again and again.
Site is very open and great for groups or events. Table had a canopy and there is also a large covered area with an additional picnic table. Corn hole boards were also a nice touch. Due to fire restrictions a propane “fire pit” was provided. While you on a hike we got to see “Hooty”, the resident barn owl. Would stay here again.
The property was easy to find and the host greeted us at the gate. The dirt road was in good condition and stayed at site #2. It’s a pull-through style with a table and fire pit. Plus plenty of room for tents and a canopy between the trees further back. The turn into the site is easily manageable pulling our 20’ trailer but could be more difficult for larger trailers. We would stay here again.
This place is nice and secluded. Decent views of the surrounding area. Ground is sloped in spots but there was a small ramp available we used to level out the trailer. Very peaceful and quiet. Amazing stargazing. Would camp here again.
If you’re looking for a private escape, this is the place. There is ample space to spread out even if camping with a group. The cabin was clean and can’t wait to see it finished. The sites on the property are all tucked away and surrounded by trees. Great trails to check out while enjoying the sounds of birds chirping. The pond was relaxing to watch the fish with the reflection of the blue sky and clouds above. Highly recommend.
