Tan N.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
We came, we saw, we spent a night and left a day early. It was a great location near Brome Lake and if you need a space to be. We've been to much nicer Hipcamps so a little direction or signage would be helpful instead of having to refer to a photo of an aerial map.
The gate lock code didn't work and it wasn't obvious which line it should be on and there were multiple options which was frustrating. Help from the host was not great. Perhaps mark the correct line with a paint pen so we know how to line up the numbers.
We drove through the first gate instead and found it that way but nothing was marked well. The site was fine but definitely not a pond I would jump in.
The other pond didn't seem much better. We were hoping for a view of the valley but Site 3 didn't have it. The grass was quite high and perhaps if we drove to another site there would have been one. We were in a campervan.
It's a great location though so worth it to try it out if it suits your priorities. Definitely keep your doggos on leashes. There were a lot of coyotes howling at night nearby around 2am that woke us up. Great sky for viewing the meteor shower even if the moon was at 80%.
