Excellent communication and directions and a great campsite. Will happily return!

We were greeted with smiles and wagging tails and a sâmores packet, which started us off on a great evening. The site was secluded and just as advertised. Great hosts. Recommended!
Past trip
Open View Tipi
in The Needles Outpost Campground, UtahOverall we had a nice stay here at the tipi. It was very windy our first night so having the structure around us was so helpful. All the campsites are packed together pretty tight, so this wasn't the kind of privacy we're used to. It's more like a crowded campground. Beautiful views of sunset from the rocks!
But very annoying that literally everything costs extra. Showers, WIFI.
I mean, it's not 2004. Don't make people pay for WIFI.

We had a great stay here at Ranchito Feliz. Roy was super helpful when we arrived and gave us some tips on hikes in the area. We loved the stone tables and stools at our campsite, and especially appreciated the dishwashing station. Would stay again.
Past trip
in Coral Pink Ranch Cowboy Camp, ArizonaWE LOVED THE CORAL PINK COWBOY CAMPER! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This was our favorite spot we have stayed in for weeks. We even stuck around an extra day (thank you Don & Cindy).
The camper has absolutely everything you need and is very comfortable. The private fire pit, gas grill, hot tub, morning coffee, everything made this an exceptional experience. And for an unbeatable price. And so close to some wonderful hikes.
We are already trying to plan a return trip.

Quiet campsite with view+stars
in Grand Canyon Eco Retreat, ArizonaLuke H.has mixed feelings towards this listing.
We stayed 2 nights here, and we feel fairly mixed. The camp area is a bit of a walk uphill from the parking are, and quite a long walk to the "facilities". And you pass uncomfortably close to other people staying in the yurts on the way. Neither of the showers worked while we were there.
On the other hand, it was quiet and a nice view and close to the Grand Canyon.
But we've stayed in some dispersed sites for free that were easier to manage. The price here is for the location.
Past trip
in Hello Mountains, High Desert, ArizonaWe absolutely loved this campsite. So quite, so peaceful, so well maintained. Sebastien greeted us (with his sweet dog) and made us feel at home. We stayed 2 nights and wish we stayed longer. The shower and bathroom were impeccable, and worked very well. Every detail was taken care of. Highly recommend.

in Desert Gardens Oasis in Lobo, Texas, TexasLuke H.recommends this listing.

We stayed one night at Desert Gardens, while we were on our way West. For the price it was pretty much what we expected. The dirt road in is managed fairly well, we were driving a 2WD Toyota and got there ok, but we could go no further than the area near the white camper, as we didn't have a high clearance vehicle. The shower was not working and the place was a little bit of a mess, BUT that said, the view is spectacular. It was a quiet and comfortable night with a wonderful sunrise. We didn't have a chance to explore at all, so can't speak to that.
Past trip
in Goat Pens, Cigar Springs Ranch, TexasLuke H.recommends this listing.
(Dispersed site)
We drove in to an almost completely empty campsite (but we travelled here in May 2020, so this was happening a lot). We felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. We easily found a site with a firepit (there are no markings) and spent a wonderful night under the stars. Sunrise in the morning was spectacular over the hills. Would stay again.
Past trip
in Dos Rios - Hill Country Adventure, TexasWe absolutely loved Dos Rios. Our campsite was clustered with a couple other sites, but still felt private. It came with a hammock, picnic table, and fire pit. We took a short hike down to the river and had a sunset swim. The water was perfect. We went back in the morning and had coffee and a dip. I would absolutely stay here again!
Past trip
in The Morris Manor and Retreat, TexasThe Morris Manor & Retreat exceeded expectations. Raymond greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the many campsites. We got our pick, a beautiful spot by the lake. The water was perfect for a sunset swim and a morning bathe. Raymond was so accommodating. He brought us firewood and some duck eggs for a small fee. They were delicious! Would absolutely stay here again.
(It was a little tough to find the place, GPS took us to a wrong road, so get better directions if you can from Raymond ahead of time)
Luke hasn't gone on any trips yet.
