A great stay in the desert! There were some windy conditions during our stay but a good time was had by all. Shower is a huge plus and the location was a good home base for a few days.

What a beautiful and peaceful spot! Our host, Sebastian, was super awesome and helpful, giving us some recommendations for cool swimming spots to check out in the area. It was a really hot day but there was such a nice breeze all afternoon and night up there in the mountains. And If your into stargazing, this is the spot! The sky was illuminated at night. In the morning, I enjoyed a really nice warm shower in the outdoor shower. I really enjoyed the beautiful art work and decorations in there too. Overall, it was an awesome stay :)

Sebastien has created a camper's paradise. Not only has he carved out two private areas of his breathtaking property, but he has also provided seating areas to reflect in quiet meditation or (in our case) to engage in entertaining dialogue. It so happened that Sebastien's mother was visiting at the time of our stay and they are both intelligent, eloquent and fascinating people. We sat for hours, sharing stories and experiences, with Sebastien and his mother, as well as another couple who were fellow campers. We had one of those life-changing conversations that, as teachers, gave us hope for the future. We could not have had a lovelier time. Finally, the beautiful and interesting (and very clean) outhouse was memorable.

Loved the remote mountain desert that Sebastien shared with us. The star gazing was amazing and the site was kept incredibly well.
We stayed here on our way from San Francisco to New Mexico and had a 16' teardrop trailer. Anything bigger would have been challenging to get in and out unless you are really skilled at managing it.

A slice of heaven! What a beautiful and relaxing place. So well taken care of, thoughtful details, and what a stunning location! Sebastien was super friendly and helpful, and has really created a very special place.

Quiet, peaceful and private, with incredible views of the nearby mountains. Sebastien is a great host and clearly cares about his guest's experience. The facilities were very well-constructed and super clean, and the propane heated shower was amazing after a long day of hiking. Definitely recommend!

Excellent camping experience. Stars/night sky are incredible out here. Perfect place to get away from everything and enjoy some peace and solitude. Sebastien is a friendly, welcoming host who has put time and effort into making this a great place to camp!

The host was super great & provided us with accurate directions. Beautiful and fairly secluded location with great views. The shower & bathroom situation is super ideal and well kept. Would absolutely recommend.

Sebastien was a very welcoming host whose campsite couldn’t be more perfect. I enjoyed a couple of showers in his outdoor shower, hot water included. The facilities were immaculate and the campsites had the best view of sunset. Would love to come back!

The view of the mountains, the sunset, and the night sky were incredible... better than the pictures! Sebastian was such a great host! Very helpful and hospitable. The camp site was secluded, and had everything you’d need to camp comfortably. I definitely recommend staying here!

This is a great property outside of Flagstaff, we would definitely come back. The campsites are well maintained, and so is the restroom and shower. The stars at night are beautiful!

We absolutely loved this campsite. So quite, so peaceful, so well maintained. Sebastien greeted us (with his sweet dog) and made us feel at home. We stayed 2 nights and wish we stayed longer. The shower and bathroom were impeccable, and worked very well. Every detail was taken care of. Highly recommend.

Peaceful amazing space. The shower was a very nice treat! The outhouse was clean and not the least bit yucky. Low key solar lights made it easy to find in the dark. The views of the cinder cones and stars were great.

Sites were exactly as described, even better. The outhouse and shower were very clean and much nicer than expected. The area is secluded but only a 30 minute drive out of town. Plenty of space for our group of 8 and 4 dogs. Had to go into town to buy a smaller tent because the original one was too tall and the area gets pretty windy during the spring days. Not a lot of shade but the weather during May is perfect. Sebastien came and met everybody with his dog, who was very friendly. Overall highly recommended.

We found the location very easily through google maps as recommended! Pretty much just follow the road back to the big crater and you’ll find them! We had some fun on the roads on our trips out and back!
The hosts were incredibly generous and gave us some milk and apples! We were so gracious as were on a long road trip and the fresh goods of ours were running out.
The space was incredibly well thought out and kept up! Beautifully designed outdoor shower and restroom that were clean and truly enjoyable to use.
Our camp site was so incredibly peaceful with beautiful views of the craters and snow capped mountains in the distance. Very close to a lot of outdoor adventure which we were happy to have time to experience a little of!
We highly recommend this site!

The stay was great. Quite. Open space kids loved it. Check out the nearby Craters.
Sebastien the host has a great set up, it’s all very clean, he’s very friendly. Cares about the site and his Campers a lot.
Prepare for wind if that’s what the forecast calls for.

Sebastien was an excellent host and his sites (there are two) were both well taken care of and made us feel at home. The shower and outhouse were both very clean and nice to have. The stars were so amazing that most of my group slept decided to ditch our tents and sleep outside!

The campsite was great, totally lived up to and exceded the pictures! Outhouse and shower were cute and clean. Views were absolutely beautiful in every direction, incredible sunsets against Merriam Crater.
