Nirvana Garden - Solar Home
in Nirvana Gardens, WashingtonJust wow!
A beautiful place to relax, unplug from the reality and be one with mother nature. Every second is full of birds chirping and nice breeze that goes in between the valleys. We brought our paddle boards and it was the best decision because the lake is so quiet and serene. We love paddling in the morning just stop in the middle of the lake to observe the birds, ducks and turtles around us. The lake water is surprisingly very warm to swim on. Matt also provides paddle boat for you to enjoy the lake. All the flowers around nirvana garden is beautiful and unique. This slice of paradise is hidden in the valley and Matt gave the most detailed and easy to follow direction. Don't be surprise if you encounter some wild turkeys, cattle, deers, rabbits and chipmunks during the drive to the house. The solar house it self is full of character, peaceful, clean and very cozy. Matt is the best host! He's very helpful and works hard to keep the cabin and its surrounding clean and beautiful. We appreciate the hard work that Matt have put into restoring the nature due to the wildfire that happened in 2015. We can't wait to come back and spend more time in the solar house!
Campsite 2 ( Raven's Roost )
in The Landing at Index WA, WashingtonWorth every penny!!
We've been looking for the perfect camping site and this is the one! Very clean, private, secluded, large, quiet, amazing view, great location, you name it all! We stayed at Site 2 and it was the best decision. Tucked in at the very back and it's a just few steps away from the small beach. Our 2 dogs really love the beach and playing in the shallow river. The outhouse is very clean and doesn't smell at all! It seems like each site has its own outhouse, which is awesome. Dave also provides some great amenities in the outhouse, such as doggie bags, flashlight, toilet papers, air refresher, hand sanitizer etc. The train passed by once in a while but you will only hear it for a good 10-15s max and you probably won't pay that much attention either due to the magnificent river and mountain view. Gold Bar town is only 10 mins away in case you need to go to the grocery store. Communication with Dave is great and it's very easy to follow his direction. Everything is worth every penny and we'd certainly come back :)
Ps: Make sure to stop by Espresso Chalet, coffees are fairly cheap and delicious :D
